  • constructing paramater query SQL - LIKE % in .cs and in grid view

    - by Indranil Mutsuddy
    Hello friends, I am trying to implement admin login and operators(india,australia,america) login, now operator id starts with 'IND123' 'AUS123' and 'AM123' when operator india logs in he can see the details of only members have id 'IND%', the same applies for an australian and american users and when admin logs in he can see details of members with id 'IND%' or 'AUS%' or 'AM%' i have a table which defines the role i.e admin or operator and their prefix(IND,AUS respectively) In loginpage i created a session for Role and prefix PREFIX = myReader["Prefix"].ToString(); Session["LoginRole"] = myReader["Role"].ToString(); Session["LoginPrefix"] = String.Concat(PREFIX + "%"); works fine In main page(after login) i have to count the number of member so i wrote string prefix = Session["LoginPrefix"].ToString(); string role = Session["LoginRole"].ToString(); if (role.Equals("ADMIN")) StrMemberId = "select count(*) from MemberList"; else StrMemberId = "select count(*) from MemberList where MemberID like '"+prefix+"'"; thatworks fine too Problem: 1. i want to constructor parameter something like StrMemberId = "select count(*) from MemberList where MemberID like '@prefix+'"; myCommd.Parameters.AddWithValue("@prefix", prefix); Which is not working 2 Displaying the members in gridview i need to give condition (something like if (role.Equals("ADMIN")) show all members else show member depending on the operator prefix)the list of members in operator mode and admin mode. - where to put the condition in gridview how to apply these please suggest something Regards Indranil

  • Scheme Depth-first search of a graph function

    - by John Retallack
    This is a homework question,I'm trying to do a Depth-first search function in Scheme,Here's the code I've written so far: (define explore (?(node visited) (let* ([neighbors (force (cdr node))] [next (nextNode visited neighbors)] [is-visited (member? node visited)]) (cond ;if I have no unvisited neighbours print current node and go up one level [(equal? next #f) (begin (display (car node)) (display " "))] ;if current node is not visited and I have unvisited neighbors ;print current node,mark as visited and visit it's neighbors [(and (equal? is-visited #f) (not (equal? next #f))) (begin (display (car node)) (display " ") (explore next (cons node visited)))]) ;go and visit the next neighbor (if (not (equal? (nextNode (cons next visited) neighbors) #f )) (explore (nextNode (cons next visited) neighbors) (cons node visited)))))) 'node' is the current node 'visited' is a list in witch I keep track of the nodes I visited 'nextNode' is a function that returns the first unvisited neighbor if any or #f otherwise 'member?' test's if a node is in the visited list The Graph representation is using adjacent made using references to nodes with letrec so that's why I use force in 'neighbors': Eg: (letrec ([node1 (list "NY" (delay (list node2 node3)))],where node2 and node3 are defined as node1 The problem witch I'm dealing with is that my visited lists looses track of some of the nodes I visited when I come out of recursion,How can I fix this ?

  • COM Object Clean Up

    - by Reggie McCray
    What is the difference between the two lines of code below: CComPtr< IInterface > m_interface; IInterface* m_interface; I know that CComPtr help eliminate memory leaks, but I am getting inconsistent results. When declaring the pointer with CComPtr< IInterface > m_interface; and using the interface in my C# code there are no errors, however using the Interface in VC++ I get an unhandled exception error, even if I comment out the instance creation of IInterface. I am pretty sure the problem is in here somewhere: STDMETHODIMP CSomeClass::get_IClass(IClass** var) { return m_class_var->QueryInterface(var); } STDMETHODIMP CSomeClass::putref_IClass(IClass* var) { m_class_var = var; return S_OK; } When I declare the interface pointer with: IInterface* m_interface; I get a RPC_E_SERVERFAULT error when testing the Interface in C# and have to explicitly call GC.Collect() to avoid the error being thrown after instantiation of a few objects. When testing the Interface in VC++ the error is consistent however when it occurs is different. If I comment out the instance creation of IInterface the code runs fine, however when I try to create an instance I get same error as before, just a vague unhandled exception error. What am I doing wrong here?

  • why does Integrated Windows Authentication fail when clients access off the network

    - by Bryan
    My background is not with web applications so this problem is hard for me to explain easily. First I'll try to describe the setup. Client setup:-Only browser that is effected is IE 6-8 (Firefox, chrome, opera, and safari all work fine) -A user will try to access our web application from a company laptop that is not connected to our network. -This machine will be a member of our workgroup and have the company DNS listed as a trusted intranet site. (to which the application in question would be a member) -The security logon mode is set to Automatic Logon only in intranet zone only, and IWA authentication is enabled on the clients browser.Server setup:-Windows server 2003 fp2-The application will first redirect to an Authorization asp page which has anonymous access disabled and IWA enabled in IIS.what should happen is that, since the client is not currently on the network, when this page is called it should prompt the user for network credentials. But with IE, instead of prompting, the user gets a page cannot be displayed error because the IIS manager is denying access to the asp page. If the company DNS is removed from the trusted intranet site list then it prompts correctly but disables single sign on the next time that computer is connected to the network or vpn. My assumption is that since IE uses IWA and the site is listed as an internal site, when no network is found IE just sends nulls to the server attempting to authenticate which is swiftly punted back. Other browsers do not have security zones so when network credentials are not present the server prompts for them. Is there a way to get around this so that our clients can keep the company DNS in the intranet zone but still have the server prompt for credentials when not on the network? Any attempt to allow for anonymous access on the asp page, as far as I know, will cause AUTH_USER to return null and again break SSO. I realize this is slightly rambling so I will do my best to clarify and questions you guys might have. Thanks in advance.

  • Problem reading from two separate InputStreams

    - by Emil H
    I'm building a Yammer client for Android in Scala and have encountered the following issue. When two AsyncTasks try to parse an XML response (not the same, each task has it's own InputStream) from the Yammer API the underlying stream throws a IOException with the message "null SSL pointer", as seen below: Uncaught handler: thread AsyncTask #1 exiting due to uncaught exception java.lang.RuntimeException: An error occured while executing doInBackground() at android.os.AsyncTask$3.done(AsyncTask.java:200) at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask$Sync.innerSetException(FutureTask.java:234) at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask$Sync.innerRun(FutureTask.java:258) at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask.run(FutureTask.java:122) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.runTask(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:648) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:673) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:1060) Caused by: java.io.IOException: null SSL pointer at org.apache.harmony.xnet.provider.jsse.OpenSSLSocketImpl.nativeread(Native Method) at org.apache.harmony.xnet.provider.jsse.OpenSSLSocketImpl.access$300(OpenSSLSocketImpl.java:55) at org.apache.harmony.xnet.provider.jsse.OpenSSLSocketImpl$SSLInputStream.read(OpenSSLSocketImpl.java:524) at org.apache.http.impl.io.AbstractSessionInputBuffer.fillBuffer(AbstractSessionInputBuffer.java:103) at org.apache.http.impl.io.AbstractSessionInputBuffer.read(AbstractSessionInputBuffer.java:134) at org.apache.http.impl.io.ContentLengthInputStream.read(ContentLengthInputStream.java:174) at org.apache.http.impl.io.ContentLengthInputStream.read(ContentLengthInputStream.java:188) at org.apache.http.conn.EofSensorInputStream.read(EofSensorInputStream.java:178) at org.apache.harmony.xml.ExpatParser.parseFragment(ExpatParser.java:504) at org.apache.harmony.xml.ExpatParser.parseDocument(ExpatParser.java:467) at org.apache.harmony.xml.ExpatReader.parse(ExpatReader.java:329) at org.apache.harmony.xml.ExpatReader.parse(ExpatReader.java:286) at javax.xml.parsers.SAXParser.parse(SAXParser.java:361) at org.mediocre.util.XMLParser$.loadXML(XMLParser.scala:28) at org.mediocre.util.XMLParser$.loadXML(XMLParser.scala:12) ..... Searching for the error didn't give much clarity. Does this have something to do with the response from the server? Or is it something else? Complete code can be found at: http://github.com/archevel/YammerTime I get no error if I wait until the first repsponse is finished and then let the other complete. The request is made with the DefaultHttpClient, but this is supposedly thread safe. What am I missing? If anything needs to be clarified just ask :) Cheers, Emil H

  • ASP.NET MVC DisplayAttribute and interfaces

    - by msi
    I have some interface and classes public inteface IRole { int Id { get; } string Name { get; set; } } public class Role : IRole { public int Id { get; } [Display("Role Name")] public string Name { get; set; } } public class Member { [Display("Login")] public string Login { get; set; } [Display("Password")] public string Password { get; set; } public IRole Role { get; set; } } on View I try to use, View is strongly type of Member on this line displays correct message from DisplayAttribute <%= Html.LabelFor(m => m.Login) %> on this line it does not display correct label from DisplayAttribute <%= Html.LabelFor(m => m.Role.Name) %> How can I fix this to have correct labels in such architecture? Thanks P.S. I know about adding DisplayAttribute to the interface field and all will work, but maybe there are different solution.

  • Comparing objects with IDispatch to get main frame only (BHO)

    - by shaimagz
    I don't know if anyone familiar with BHO (Browser Helper Object), but an expert in c++ can help me too. In my BHO I want to run the OnDocumentComplete() function only on the main frame - the first container and not all the Iframes inside the current page. (an alternative is to put some code only when this is the main frame). I can't find how to track when is it the main frame that being populated. After searching in google I found out that each frame has "IDispatch* pDisp", and I have to compare it with a pointer to the first one. This is the main function: STDMETHODIMP Browsarity::SetSite(IUnknown* pUnkSite) { if (pUnkSite != NULL) { // Cache the pointer to IWebBrowser2. HRESULT hr = pUnkSite->QueryInterface(IID_IWebBrowser2, (void **)&m_spWebBrowser); if (SUCCEEDED(hr)) { // Register to sink events from DWebBrowserEvents2. hr = DispEventAdvise(m_spWebBrowser); if (SUCCEEDED(hr)) { m_fAdvised = TRUE; } } } else { // Unregister event sink. if (m_fAdvised) { DispEventUnadvise(m_spWebBrowser); m_fAdvised = FALSE; } // Release cached pointers and other resources here. m_spWebBrowser.Release(); } // Call base class implementation. return IObjectWithSiteImpl<Browsarity>::SetSite(pUnkSite); } This is where I want to be aware whether its the main window(frame) or not: void STDMETHODCALLTYPE Browsarity::OnDocumentComplete(IDispatch *pDisp, VARIANT *pvarURL) { // as you can see, this function get the IDispatch *pDisp which is unique to every frame. //some code } I asked this question on Microsoft forum and I got an answer without explaining how to actually implement that: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ieextensiondevelopment/thread/7c433bfa-30d7-42db-980a-70e62640184c

  • Generating %pc relative address of constant data

    - by Hudson
    Is there a way to have gcc generate %pc relative addresses of constants? Even when the string appears in the text segment, arm-elf-gcc will generate a constant pointer to the data, load the address of the pointer via a %pc relative address and then dereference it. For a variety of reasons, I need to skip the middle step. As an example, this simple function: const char * filename(void) { static const char _filename[] __attribute__((section(".text"))) = "logfile"; return _filename; } generates (when compiled with arm-elf-gcc-4.3.2 -nostdlib -c -O3 -W -Wall logfile.c): 00000000 <filename>: 0: e59f0000 ldr r0, [pc, #0] ; 8 <filename+0x8> 4: e12fff1e bx lr 8: 0000000c .word 0x0000000c 0000000c <_filename.1175>: c: 66676f6c .word 0x66676f6c 10: 00656c69 .word 0x00656c69 I would have expected it to generate something more like: filename: add r0, pc, #0 bx lr _filename.1175: .ascii "logfile\000" The code in question needs to be partially position independent since it will be relocated in memory at load time, but also integrate with code that was not compiled -fPIC, so there is no global offset table. My current work around is to call a non-inline function (which will be done via a %pc relative address) to find the offset from the compiled location in a technique similar to how -fPIC code works: static intptr_t __attribute__((noinline)) find_offset( void ) { uintptr_t pc; asm __volatile__ ( "mov %0, %%pc" : "=&r"(pc) ); return pc - 8 - (uintptr_t) find_offset; } But this technique requires that all data references be fixed up manually, so the filename() function in the above example would become: const char * filename(void) { static const char _filename[] __attribute__((section(".text"))) = "logfile"; return _filename + find_offset(); }

  • Typedef and Struct in C and H files

    - by Leif Andersen
    I've been using the following code to create various struct, but only give people outside of the C file a pointer to it. (Yes, I know that they could potentially mess around with it, so it's not entirely like the private keyword in Java, but that's okay with me). Anyway, I've been using the following code, and I looked at it today, and I'm really surprised that it's actually working, can anyone explain why this is? In my C file, I create my struct, but don't give it a tag in the typedef namespace: struct LABall { int x; int y; int radius; Vector velocity; }; And in the H file, I put this: typedef struct LABall* LABall; I am obviously using #import "LABall.h" in the c file, but I am NOT using #import "LABall.c" in the header file, as that would defeat the whole purpose of a separate header file. So, why am I able to create a pointer to the LABall* struct in the H file when I haven't actually included it? Does it have something to do with the struct namespace working accross files, even when one file is in no way linked to another? Thank you.

    Im looking for some way of extrating data form a tree table as defined below. Table Tree Defined as :- TreeID uniqueidentifier TreeParent uniqueidentifier TreeCode varchar(50) TreeDesc varchar(100) Data some (23k rows), Parent Refs back into ID in table The following SQL renders the whole tree (takes arround 2 mins 30) I need to do the following. 1) Render each Tree Node with its LVL 1 parent 2) Render all nodes that have a Description that matches a TreeDesc like 'SomeText%' 3) Render all parent nodes that are for a single tree id. Items 2 and 3 take 2mins30 so this needs to be a lot faster! Item 1, just cant work out how to do it with out killing SQL or taking forever any sugestions would be helpfull Thanks Julian WITH TreeCTE(TreeCode, TreeDesc, depth, TreeParent, TreeID) AS ( -- anchor member SELECT cast('' as varchar(50)) as TreeCode , cast('Trees' as varchar(100)) as TreeDesc, cast('0' as Integer) as depth, cast('00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000' as uniqueidentifier) as TreeParent, cast('00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000' as uniqueidentifier) as TreeID UNION ALL -- recursive member SELECT s.TreeCode, s.TreeDesc, cte.depth+1, isnull(s.TreeParent, cast('00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000' as uniqueidentifier)), isnull(s.TreeID, cast('00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000' as uniqueidentifier)) FROM pdTrees AS S JOIN TreeCTE AS cte ON isnull(s.TreeParent, cast('00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000' as uniqueidentifier)) = isnull( cte.TreeID , cast('00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000' as uniqueidentifier)) ) -- outer query SELECT s.TreeID, s.TreeCode, s.TreeDesc, s.depth, s.TreeParent FROM TreeCTE s

  • Delete array of size 1

    - by Arne
    This is possibly a candidate for a one-line answer. I would like know it anyway.. I am writing a simple circular buffer and for some reasons that are not important for the question I need to implement it using an array of doubles. In fact I have not investiated other ways to do it, but since an array is required anyway I have not spent much time on looking for alternatives. template<typename T> class CircularBuffer { public: CircularBuffer(unsigned int size); ~CircularBuffer(); void Resize(unsigned int new_size); ... private: T* buffer; unsigned int buffer_size; }; Since I need to have the buffer dynamically sized the buffer_size is neither const nor a template parameter. Now the question: During construction and in function Resize(int) I only require the size to be at least one, although a buffer of size one is effectively no longer a buffer. Of course using a simple double instead would be more appropriate but anyway. Now when deleting the internal buffer in the destructor - or in function resize for that matter - I need to delete the allocated memory. Question is, how? First candidate is of course delete[] buffer; but then again, if I have allocated a buffer of size one, that is if the pointer was aquired with buffer = new T[0], is it still appropriate to call delete[] on the pointer or do I need to call delete buffer; (without brackets) ? Thanks, Arne

  • Reinterpret a CGImageRef using PyObjC in Python

    - by Michael Rondinelli
    Hi, I'm doing something that's a little complicated to sum up in the title, so please bear with me. I'm writing a Python module that provides an interface to my C++ library, which provides some specialized image manipulation functionality. It would be most convenient to be able to access image buffers as CGImageRefs from Python, so they could be manipulated further using Quartz (using PyObjC, which works well). So I have a C++ function that provides a CGImageRef representation from my own image buffers, like this: CGImageRef CreateCGImageRefForImageBuffer(shared_ptr<ImageBuffer> buffer); I'm using Boost::Python to create my Python bridge. What is the easiest way for me to export this function so that I can use the CGImageRef from Python? Problems: The CGImageRef type can't be exported directly because it is a pointer to an undefined struct. So I could make a wrapper function that wraps it in a PyCObject or something to get it to send the pointer to Python. But then how do I "cast" this object to a CGImageRef from Python? Is there a better way to go about this?

  • nasm/yasm arguments, linkage to C++

    - by arionik
    Hello everybody, I've got a question concerning nasm and its linkage to C++. I declare a litte test function as extern "C" void __cdecl myTest( byte i1, byte i2, int stride, int *width ); and I call it like this: byte i1 = 1, i2 = 2; int stride = 3, width = 4; myTest( i1, i2, stride, &width ); the method only serves to debug assembly and have a look at how the stack pointer is used to get the arguments. beyond that, the pointer arguments value shall be set to 7, to figure out how that works. This is implemented like this: global _myTest _myTest: mov eax, [esp+4] ; 1 mov ebx, [esp+8] ; 2 mov ecx, dword [esp+16] ; width mov edx, dword [esp+12] ; stride mov eax, dword [esp+16] mov dword [eax], 7 ret and compiled via yasm -f win32 -g cv8 -m x86 -o "$(IntDir)\$(InputName).obj" "$(InputPath)" , then linked to the c++ app. In debug mode, everything works fine. the function is called a couple of times and works as expected, whereas in release mode the function works once, but subsequent programm operations fail. It seems to me that something's wrong with stack/frame pointers, near/far, but I'm quite new to this subject and need a little help. thanks in advance! a.

  • Multiple SFINAE rules

    - by Fred
    Hi everyone, After reading the answer to this question, I learned that SFINAE can be used to choose between two functions based on whether the class has a certain member function. It's the equivalent of the following, just that each branch in the if statement is split into an overloaded function: template<typename T> void Func(T& arg) { if(HAS_MEMBER_FUNCTION_X(T)) arg.X(); else //Do something else because T doesn't have X() } becomes template<typename T> void Func(T &arg, int_to_type<true>); //T has X() template<typename T> void Func(T &arg, int_to_type<false>); //T does not have X() I was wondering if it was possible to extend SFINAE to do multiple rules. Something that would be the equivalent of this: template<typename T> void Func(T& arg) { if(HAS_MEMBER_FUNCTION_X(T)) //See if T has a member function X arg.X(); else if(POINTER_DERIVED_FROM_CLASS_A(T)) //See if T is a pointer to a class derived from class A arg->A_Function(); else if(DERIVED_FROM_CLASS_B(T)) //See if T derives from class B arg.B_Function(); else if(IS_TEMPLATE_CLASS_C(T)) //See if T is class C<U> where U could be anything arg.C_Function(); else if(IS_POD(T)) //See if T is a POD type //Do something with a POD type else //Do something else because none of the above rules apply } Is something like this possible? Thank you.

  • Bind members of different classes

    - by 7vies
    In a C++ program I have two classes (structs) like struct A { int x; double y; // other members }; struct B { int x; double y2; // other members }; I'd like to somehow "bind" the corresponding members, e.g. A::x to B::x and A::y to B::y2. By "bind" I mean ability to obtain a reference to the bound variable, for example given a member of class A I could assign it to the value of the corresponding B member. Once I have such bind, I'd like to build a bind table or something similar which I could iterate over. This would allow, for example, copying the corresponding fields from A a; to B b; like CopyBound(a, b, bind_table);, but probably also doing some other things not limited to Copy interface. The problem with this bind_table is that I want static typing and the bind_table would have to contain different types in this case. For example, a table of pointers to class members would contain &A::x and &A::y, but they are of different type, so I cannot just put them say into an array. Any ideas how this can be conveniently implemented, having as much compile-time type checking as possible?

  • GlassFish Security Realm, Active Directory and Referral

    - by Allan Lykke Christensen
    I've setup up a Security Realm in Glassfish to authenticate against an Active Directory server. The configuration of the realm is as follows: Class Name: com.sun.enterprise.security.auth.realm.ldap.LDAPRealm JAAS context: ldapRealm Directory: ldap://172.16.76.10:389/ Base DN: dc=smallbusiness,dc=local search-filter: (&(objectClass=user)(sAMAccountName=%s)) group-search-filter: (&(objectClass=group)(member=%d)) search-bind-dn: cN=Administrator,CN=Users,dc=smallbusiness,dc=local search-bind-password: abcd1234! The realm is functional and I can log-in, but when ever I log in I get the following error in the log: SEC1106: Error during LDAP search with filter [(&(objectClass=group)(member=CN=Administrator,CN=Users,dc=smallbusiness,dc=local))]. SEC1000: Caught exception. javax.naming.PartialResultException: Unprocessed Continuation Reference(s); remaining name 'dc=smallbusiness,dc=local' at com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapCtx.processReturnCode(LdapCtx.java:2820) .... .... ldaplm.searcherror While searching for a solution I found that it was recommended to add java.naming.referral=follow to the properties of the realm. However, after I add this it takes 20 minutes for GlassFish to authenticate against Active Directory. I suspect it is a DNS problem on the Active Directory server. The Active Directory server is a vanilla Windows Server 2003 setup in a Virtual Machine. Any help/recommendation is highly appreciated!

  • Removing padding from structure in kernel module

    - by dexkid
    I am compiling a kernel module, containing a structure of size 34, using the standard command. make -C /lib/modules/$(KVERSION)/build M=$(PWD) modules The sizeof(some_structure) is coming as 36 instead of 34 i.e. the compiler is padding the structure. How do I remove this padding? Running make V=1 shows the gcc compiler options passed as make -I../inc -C /lib/modules/2.6.29.4-167.fc11.i686.PAE/build M=/home/vishal/20100426_eth_vishal/organised_eth/src modules make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/kernels/2.6.29.4-167.fc11.i686.PAE' test -e include/linux/autoconf.h -a -e include/config/auto.conf || ( \ echo; \ echo " ERROR: Kernel configuration is invalid."; \ echo " include/linux/autoconf.h or include/config/auto.conf are missing."; \ echo " Run 'make oldconfig && make prepare' on kernel src to fix it."; \ echo; \ /bin/false) mkdir -p /home/vishal/20100426_eth_vishal/organised_eth/src/.tmp_versions ; rm -f /home/vishal/20100426_eth_vishal/organised_eth/src/.tmp_versions/* make -f scripts/Makefile.build obj=/home/vishal/20100426_eth_vishal/organised_eth/src gcc -Wp,-MD,/home/vishal/20100426_eth_vishal/organised_eth/src/.eth_main.o.d -nostdinc -isystem /usr/lib/gcc/i586-redhat-linux/4.4.0/include -Iinclude -I/usr/src/kernels/2.6.29.4-167.fc11.i686.PAE/arch/x86/include -include include/linux/autoconf.h -D__KERNEL__ -Wall -Wundef -Wstrict-prototypes -Wno-trigraphs -fno-strict-aliasing -fno-common -Werror-implicit-function-declaration -Os -m32 -msoft-float -mregparm=3 -freg-struct-return -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2 -march=i686 -mtune=generic -Wa,-mtune=generic32 -ffreestanding -DCONFIG_AS_CFI=1 -DCONFIG_AS_CFI_SIGNAL_FRAME=1 -pipe -Wno-sign-compare -fno-asynchronous-unwind-tables -mno-sse -mno-mmx -mno-sse2 -mno-3dnow -Iarch/x86/include/asm/mach-generic -Iarch/x86/include/asm/mach-default -Wframe-larger-than=1024 -fno-stack-protector -fno-omit-frame-pointer -fno-optimize-sibling-calls -g -pg -Wdeclaration-after-statement -Wno-pointer-sign -fwrapv -fno-dwarf2-cfi-asm -DTX_DESCRIPTOR_IN_SYSTEM_MEMORY -DRX_DESCRIPTOR_IN_SYSTEM_MEMORY -DTX_BUFFER_IN_SYSTEM_MEMORY -DRX_BUFFER_IN_SYSTEM_MEMORY -DALTERNATE_DESCRIPTORS -DEXT_8_BYTE_DESCRIPTOR -O0 -Wall -DT_ETH_1588_051 -DALTERNATE_DESCRIPTORS -DEXT_8_BYTE_DESCRIPTOR -DNETHERNET_INTERRUPTS -DETH_IEEE1588_TESTS -DSNAPTYPSEL_TMSTRENA_TEVENTENA_TESTS -DT_ETH_1588_140_147 -DLOW_DEBUG_PRINTS -DMEDIUM_DEBUG_PRINTS -DHIGH_DEBUG_PRINTS -DMODULE -D"KBUILD_STR(s)=#s" -D"KBUILD_BASENAME=KBUILD_STR(eth_main)" -D"KBUILD_MODNAME=KBUILD_STR(conxt_eth)" -c -o /home/vishal/20100426_eth_vishal/organised_eth/src/eth_main.o /home/vishal/20100426_eth_vishal/organised_eth/src/eth_main.c

  • Accessing a com object's vtable in c#

    - by Martin Booth
    I'm attempting to access a com object's vtable in memory and getting nowhere. From what I have read, the first 4 bytes in memory of a com object should be a pointer to the vtableptr, which in turn is a pointer to the vtable. Although I'm not sure I expect to find my test method at slot 7 in this com object I have tried them all and nothing looks like the address of my function. If anyone can make the necessary changes to this sample to get it to work (the aim is just to try and invoke the Test method on the Tester class by accessing the com object's vtable and locating the method in whichever row it turns up) I would be very grateful. I know it is rare that anyone would need to do this, but please accept I do need to do something quite similar and have considered the alternatives Thanks in advance [ComVisible(true)] public class Tester { public void Test() { MessageBox.Show("Here"); } } public delegate void TestDelegate(); private void main() { Tester t = new Tester(); GCHandle objectHandle = GCHandle.Alloc(t); IntPtr objectPtr = GCHandle.ToIntPtr(objectHandle); IntPtr vTable = (IntPtr)Marshal.ReadInt32(objectPtr); IntPtr vTablePtr = (IntPtr)Marshal.ReadInt32(vTable); IntPtr functionPtr = (IntPtr)Marshal.ReadInt32(vTablePtr, 7 * 4); // 7 may be incorrect but i have tried many different values TestDelegate func = (TestDelegate)Marshal.GetDelegateForFunctionPointer(functionPtr, typeof(TestDelegate)); func(); objectHandle.Free(); }

  • select & print multiple value from dropdown list

    - by sandy
    hi , in this code how can selected multiple value from dropdown list <?php include ("connect.php"); $member_id = intval($_POST['sector_list']); if($member_id == 0) { // Default choice was selected } else { $res = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM members WHERE MemberID = $member_id LIMIT 1"); if(mysql_num_rows($res) == 0) { // Not a valid member } else { // The member is in the database } } ?> <form method="post" action=""> <input type="hidden" name="sector" value="sector_list"> <select name="sector_list" class="inputstandard" multiple="multiple"> <option value="0">send to</option> <?php $result = mysql_query('SELECT * from members') or die(mysql_error()); while ($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($result)) { echo '<option value="' . $row['MemberID'] . '">' . $row['MemberName']. '</option>'; } ?> </select> </form> assume the drop down list contain on (a,s,d,f,g,h,j,) users selects multiple value ( a,s,j) output = a,s,j not only j ???

  • Simulating pass by reference for an array in Java

    - by Leif Andersen
    I was wondering, in java, is it possible to in anyway, simulate pass by reference for an array? Yes, I know the language doesn't support it, but is there anyway I can do it. Say, for example, I want to create a method that reverses the order of all the elements in an array. (I know that this code snippet isn't the best example, as there is a better algorithms to do this, but this is a good example of the type of thing I want to do for more complex problems). Currently, I need to make a class like this: public static void reverse(Object[] arr) { Object[] tmpArr = new Object[arr.length]; count = arr.length - 1; for(Object i : arr) tmpArr[count--] = i; // I would like to do arr = tmpArr, but that will only make the shallow // reference tmpArr, I would like to actually change the pointer they passed in // Not just the values in the array, so I have to do this: count = arr.length - 1; for(Object i : tmpArr) arr[count--] = i; return; } Yes, I know that I could just swap the values until I get to the middle, and it would be much more efficient, but for other, more complex purposes, is there anyway that I can manipulate the actual pointer? Again, thank you.

  • Retrieve data from .dat file.

    - by Zach
    We have an application which requires us to read data from a file (.dat) dynamically using deserialization. We are actually getting first object and it throws null pointer exception when we are accessing other objects using a "for" loop. File file=null; FileOutputStream fos=null; BufferedOutputStream bos=null; ObjectOutputStream oos=null; try{ file=new File("account4.dat"); fos=new FileOutputStream(file,true); bos=new BufferedOutputStream(fos); oos=new ObjectOutputStream(bos); oos.writeObject(m); System.out.println("object serialized"); amlist=new MemberAccountList(); oos.close(); } catch(Exception ex){ ex.printStackTrace(); } Reading objects: try{ MemberAccount m1; file=new File("account4.dat");//add your code here fis=new FileInputStream(file); bis=new BufferedInputStream(fis); ois=new ObjectInputStream(bis); System.out.println(ois.readObject()); while(ois.readObject()!=null){ m1=(MemberAccount)ois.readObject(); System.out.println(m1.toString()); }/mList.addElement(m1); // Here we have the issue throwing null pointer exception Enumeration elist=mList.elements(); while(elist.hasMoreElements()){ obj=elist.nextElement(); System.out.println(obj.toString()); }/ } catch(ClassNotFoundException e){ } catch(EOFException e){ System.out.println("end"); } catch(Exception ex){ ex.printStackTrace(); }

  • Where my memory is alloced, Stack or Heap, Can I find it at Run-time?

    - by AKN
    I know that memory alloced using new, gets its space in heap, and so we need to delete it before program ends, to avoid memory leak. Let's look at this program... Case 1: char *MyData = new char[20]; _tcscpy(MyData,"Value"); . . . delete[] MyData; MyData = NULL; Case 2: char *MyData = new char[20]; MyData = "Value"; . . . delete[] MyData; MyData = NULL; In case 2, instead of allocating value to the heap memory, it is pointing to a string literal. Now when we do a delete it would crash, AS EXPECTED, since it is not trying to delete a heap memory. Is there a way to know where the pointer is pointing to heap or stack? By this the programmer Will not try to delete any stack memory He can investigate why does this ponter, that was pointing to a heap memory initially, is made to refer local literals? What happened to the heap memory in the middle? Is it being made to point by another pointer and delete elsewhere and all that?

  • Can't open Websphere Portal 7.0 Login Page after its integration with a custom user registry?

    - by jack_sparrow
    I am currently working on a project related to Websphere Portal 7.0 on Windows Server 2008 R2,64 bit. I am trying to integrate websphere portal with my custom user registry.I have completed all the steps required to implement custom user registry in portal as given in IBM documentation.I am adding my custom repository to the default federated repositories of Portal 7.0.I have made the required changes under VMM Federated CUR Properties section in wkplc.properties.I am using configengine.bat file to configure Portal with user registry. But even completing all the steps,when I am trying to open the Portal Login Page through http://ip-address:port_of_portal/wps/portal ,it is throwing an exception on the console: "Error 500: com.ibm.wps.resolver.data.exceptions.URIProcessingIOException: EJCBD0021E: The URI dav:fs-type1/themes/PageBuilder2/theme.html and parameters [['themeURI'=, 'mime-type'= could not be processed: [EJCBD0021E: The URI dav:fs-type1/themes/PageBuilder2/theme.html and parameters [['themeURI'=, 'mime-type'= could not be processed: EJPSG0002E: Requested Member does not exist.uid=portal,o=defaultWIMFileBasedRealm/null] " and in logs Systemout.log "EJPSB0005E: Exception occurred during creation of the principal with Name uid=portal,o=defaultWIMFileBasedRealm and Principal Type USER caused by com.ibm.portal.puma.MemberNotFoundException: EJPSG0002E: Requested Member does not exist.uid=portal,o=defaultWIMFileBasedRealm/null". Here,"portal" is administrative user in my custom user registry.I am able to access WAS using /ibm/console through user "portal".Please suggest some way to handle this issue.

  • Why `A & a = a` is valid?

    - by psaghelyi
    #include <iostream> #include <assert.h> using namespace std; struct Base { Base() : m_member1(1) {} Base(const Base & other) { assert(this != &other); // this should trigger m_member1 = other.m_member1; } int m_member1; }; struct Derived { Derived(Base & base) : m_base(m_base) {} // m_base(base) Base & m_base; }; void main() { Base base; Derived derived(base); cout << derived.m_base.m_member1 << endl; // crashes here } The above example is a synthesized version of a mistyped constructor. I used reference at the class member Derived::m_base because I wanted to make sure that the member will be initialized as the constructor had called. One problem is that nor GCC nor MSVC gives me a warning at m_base(m_base). But the more serious for me is that the assert finds everything fine and the application crashes later (sometimes far away from the mistake). Question: Is there any way to indicate such mistakes?
