  • Stepping over a yield statement

    When in the Python debugger (pdb) I want to step over a yield statement, but hitting (n) for next brings me to the destination of the yield i.e. the consumer of the generator. I want to go to the next line that is executed within the generator. Is there any way to do this? I'm using Python 2.6

  • Django message doesn't expire

    My code in the view: from django.contrib import messages messages.add_message(request, messages.INFO, 'Hello world.') I don't want to show this code to the user the second time if he/she refreshes again. How do I go about doing that? Messages don't seem to have any sort of expiry setting.     I'm currently writing some code that uses Flee to evaluate a number of rules and I'd like to include an ASP.NET based object inspector in the configuration screen so users can inspect the values of objects that are made available. I've put together a fairly basic routine to recurse an objects properties and spit it out but before I go and write something more polished, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a component that provides this functionality.

    I have a requirement to create an installer for an Outlook 2003 add-in that was created with VSTO. We currently are using Wix for our installers as they play nice with MSBuild and I need to use it to create the installer for the outlook add-in. I have no experience with outlook add-ins and am unsure exactly what is involved and how to go about creating the installer. Can anyone share any experience/tips/examples that would help me please? I know this is done in the mail app whereby you can go into the edit mode of a folder and select multiple items by clicking on the circle on the left hand side.   • Getting XML data from a external page and parsing it with PHP

    I'm trying to create a database of World of Warcraft gems. If I go to this page: http://www.wowarmory.com/search.xml?fl[source]=all&fl[type]=gems&fl[subTp]=purple&searchType=items And go to View Source in Firefox, I see a tonne of XML data which is exactly what I want. I think file_get_contents() is bringing back data that isn't XML, maybe some Javascript files judging by the iPhone parts in the errors. Is there any way to just get back the XML from that page?     I have a GWT app that when launched it takes you to a page with just a menu. So as a shortcut type thing I would like the users to be able to go straight to the page they want. So if the default start page is x, the should be able to say x/add and it will take them to the add page. How would I get that in gwt? Do I need a bunch of different entry points?

    Hi. I have a process that contains C# code, C++\CLI code and native c++ code. Now, I'm trying to remote debug my process, and I can go to the statements of my C# code and my C++\CLI code, but I can't reach my native code. When I try to hit a breakpoint in my native c++ source file, I get the "No symbole have been loaded" error. I tried to manualy load the symboles (tools-options-debugging), but no luck. Any Idea?
