• How to set up default schema name in JPA configuration?

    - by Roman
    I found that in hibernate config file we could set up parameter hibernate.default_schema: <hibernate-configuration> <session-factory> ... <property name="hibernate.default_schema">myschema</property> ... </session-factory> </hibernate-configuration> Now I'm using JPA and I want to do the same. Otherwise I have to add parameter schema to each @Table annotation like: @Entity @Table (name = "projectcategory", schema = "SCHEMANAME") public class Category implements Serializable { ... } As I understand this parameter should be somewhere in this part of configuration: <bean id="domainEntityManagerFactory" class="org.springframework.orm.jpa.LocalContainerEntityManagerFactoryBean"> <property name="persistenceUnitName" value="JiraManager"/> <property name="dataSource" ref="domainDataSource"/> <property name="jpaVendorAdapter"> <bean class="org.springframework.orm.jpa.vendor.HibernateJpaVendorAdapter"> <property name="generateDdl" value="false"/> <property name="showSql" value="false"/> <property name="databasePlatform" value="${hibernate.dialect}"/> </bean> </property> </bean> <bean id="domainDataSource" class="com.mchange.v2.c3p0.ComboPooledDataSource" destroy-method="close"> <property name="driverClass" value="${db.driver}" /> <property name="jdbcUrl" value="${datasource.url}" /> <property name="user" value="${datasource.username}" /> <property name="password" value="${datasource.password}" /> <property name="initialPoolSize" value="5"/> <property name="minPoolSize" value="5"/> <property name="maxPoolSize" value="15"/> <property name="checkoutTimeout" value="10000"/> <property name="maxStatements" value="150"/> <property name="testConnectionOnCheckin" value="true"/> <property name="idleConnectionTestPeriod" value="50"/> </bean> ... but I can't find its name in google. Any ideas?

  • Domain queries in CQRS

    - by JontyMC
    We are trying out CQRS. We have a validation situation where a CustomerService (domain service) needs to know whether or not a Customer exists. Customers are unique by their email address. Our Customer repository (a generic repository) only has Get(id) and Add(customer). How should the CustomerService find out if the Customer exists?

  • Deleting multiple records in ASP.NET MVC using jqGrid

    - by Tevin
    How can you enable multiple selection in a jqGrid, and also allow users to delete all of the selected rows using an ASP.NET MVC controller? I have set the delete url property to my /Controller/Delete method, and this works fine if one record is selected. However, if multiple records are selected, it attempts to send a null value back to the controller where an integer id is required.

  • ASP.Net MVC2 CustomModelBinder not working... Changed from MVC1

    - by Ian
    (My apologies if this seems verbose - trying to provide all relevant code) I've just upgraded to VS2010, and am now having trouble trying to get a new CustomModelBinder working. In MVC1 I would have written something like public class AwardModelBinder: DefaultModelBinder { : public override object BindModel(ControllerContext controllerContext, ModelBindingContext bindingContext) { // do the base binding to bind all simple types Award award = base.BindModel(controllerContext, bindingContext) as Award; // Get complex values from ValueProvider dictionary award.EffectiveFrom = Convert.ToDateTime(bindingContext.ValueProvider["Model.EffectiveFrom"].AttemptedValue.ToString()); string sEffectiveTo = bindingContext.ValueProvider["Model.EffectiveTo"].AttemptedValue.ToString(); if (sEffectiveTo.Length > 0) award.EffectiveTo = Convert.ToDateTime(bindingContext.ValueProvider["Model.EffectiveTo"].AttemptedValue.ToString()); // etc return award; } } Of course I'd register the custom binder in Global.asax.cs: protected void Application_Start() { RegisterRoutes(RouteTable.Routes); // register custom model binders ModelBinders.Binders.Add(typeof(Voucher), new VoucherModelBinder(DaoFactory.UserInstance("EH1303"))); ModelBinders.Binders.Add(typeof(AwardCriterion), new AwardCriterionModelBinder(DaoFactory.UserInstance("EH1303"), new VOPSDaoFactory())); ModelBinders.Binders.Add(typeof(SelectedVoucher), new SelectedVoucherModelBinder(DaoFactory.UserInstance("IT0706B"))); ModelBinders.Binders.Add(typeof(Award), new AwardModelBinder(DaoFactory.UserInstance("IT0706B"))); } Now, in MVC2, I'm finding that my call to base.BindModel returns an object where everything is null, and I simply don't want to have to iterate all the form fields surfaced by the new ValueProvider.GetValue() function. Google finds no matches for this error, so I assume I'm doing something wrong. Here's my actual code: My domain object (infer what you like about the encapsulated child objects - I know I'll need custom binders for those too, but the three "simple" fields (ie. base types) Id, TradingName and BusinessIncorporated are also coming back null): public class Customer { ///
/// Initializes a new instance of the Customer class. ///
public Customer() { Applicant = new Person(); Contact = new Person(); BusinessContact = new ContactDetails(); BankAccount = new BankAccount(); } ///
/// Gets or sets the unique customer identifier. ///
public int Id { get; set; } ///
/// Gets or sets the applicant details. ///
public Person Applicant { get; set; } ///
/// Gets or sets the customer's secondary contact. ///
public Person Contact { get; set; } ///
/// Gets or sets the trading name of the business. ///
[Required(ErrorMessage = "Please enter your Business or Trading Name")] [StringLength(50, ErrorMessage = "A maximum of 50 characters is permitted")] public string TradingName { get; set; } ///
/// Gets or sets the date the customer's business began trading. ///
[Required(ErrorMessage = "You must supply the date your business started trading")] [DateRange("01/01/1900", "01/01/2020", ErrorMessage = "This date must be between {0} and {1}")] public DateTime BusinessIncorporated { get; set; } ///
/// Gets or sets the contact details for the customer's business. ///
public ContactDetails BusinessContact { get; set; } ///
/// Gets or sets the customer's bank account details. ///
public BankAccount BankAccount { get; set; } } My controller method: ///
/// Saves a Customer object from the submitted application form. ///
/// A populate instance of the Customer class. /// <returns>A partial view indicating success or failure.</returns> /// <httpmethod>POST</httpmethod> ///
[HttpPost] [ValidateAntiForgeryToken] public ActionResult RegisterCustomerAccount(Customer customer) { if (ModelState.IsValid) { // save the Customer // return indication of success, or otherwise return PartialView(); } else { ViewData.Model = customer; // load necessary reference data into ViewData ViewData["PersonTitles"] = new SelectList(ReferenceDataCache.Get("PersonTitle"), "Id", "Name"); return PartialView("CustomerAccountRegistration", customer); } } My custom binder: public class CustomerModelBinder : DefaultModelBinder { public override object BindModel(ControllerContext controllerContext, ModelBindingContext bindingContext) { ValueProviderResult vpResult = bindingContext .ValueProvider.GetValue(bindingContext.ModelName); // vpResult is null // MVC2 - ValueProvider is now an IValueProvider, not dictionary based anymore if (bindingContext.ValueProvider.GetValue("Model.Applicant.Title") != null) { // works } Customer customer = base.BindModel(controllerContext, bindingContext) as Customer; // customer instanitated with null (etc) throughout return customer; } } My binder registration: ///
/// Application_Start is called once when the web application is first accessed. ///
protected void Application_Start() { RegisterRoutes(RouteTable.Routes); // register custom model binders ModelBinders.Binders.Add(typeof(Customer), new CustomerModelBinder()); ReferenceDataCache.Populate(); } ... and a snippet from my view (could this be a prefix problem?)
Title* <%= Html.DropDownList("Model.Applicant.Title", ViewData["PersonTitles"] as SelectList, "Select ...", new { @class = "validate[required]" })%> <% Html.ValidationMessageFor(model => model.Applicant.Title); %>

Forename / First name* <%= Html.TextBox("Model.Applicant.Forename", Html.Encode(Model.Applicant.Forename), new { @class = "validate[required,custom[onlyLetter],length[2,20]]", title="Enter your forename", maxlength = 20, size = 20, autocomplete = "off", onkeypress = "return maskInput(event,re_mask_alpha);" })%>

Middle Initial(s) <%= Html.TextBox("Model.Applicant.MiddleInitials", Html.Encode(Model.Applicant.MiddleInitials), new { @class = "validate[optional,custom[onlyLetter],length[0,8]]", title = "Please enter your middle initial(s)", maxlength = 8, size = 8, autocomplete = "off", onkeypress = "return maskInput(event,re_mask_alpha);" })%>

  • jQuery override default validation error message display (Css) Popup/Tooltip like

    - by Phill Pafford
    I'm trying to over ride the default error message label with a div instead of a label. I have looked at this post as well and get how to do it but my limitations with CSS are haunting me. How can I display this like some of these examples: Example #1 (Dojo) - Must type invalid input to see error display Example #2 Here is some example code that overrides the error label to a div element $(document).ready(function(){ $("#myForm").validate({ rules: { "elem.1": { required: true, digits: true }, "elem.2": { required: true } }, errorElement: "div" }); }); Now I'm at a loss on the css part but here it is: div.error { position:absolute; margin-top:-21px; margin-left:150px; border:2px solid #C0C097; background-color:#fff; color:white; padding:3px; text-align:left; z-index:1; color:#333333; font:100% arial,helvetica,clean,sans-serif; font-size:15px; font-weight:bold; } UPDATE: Okay I'm using this code now but the image and the placement on the popup is larger than the border, can this be adjusted to be dynamic is height? if (element.attr('type') == 'radio' || element.attr('type') == 'checkbox') { element = element.parent(); offset = element.offset(); error.insertBefore(element) error.addClass('message'); // add a class to the wrapper error.css('position', 'absolute'); error.css('left', offset.left + element.outerWidth()); error.css('top', offset.top - (element.height() / 2)); // Not working for Radio, displays towards the bottom of the element. also need to test with checkbox } else { // Error placement for single elements offset = element.offset(); error.insertBefore(element) error.addClass('message'); // add a class to the wrapper error.css('position', 'absolute'); error.css('left', offset.left + element.outerWidth()); error.css('top', offset.top - (element.height() / 2)); } the css is the same as below (your css code) Html P S

  • How do I correctly Re-render a Recaptcha in ASP.NET MVC 2 after an AJAX POST

    - by Eoin Campbell
    Ok... I've downloaded and implemented this Recaptcha implementation for MVC which uses the ModelState to confirm the validity of the captcha control. It works brilliantly... except when I start to use it in an AJAX Form. In a nutshell, when a div is re-rendered with AJAX, the ReCaptcha that it should contain does not appear, even though the relevant <scripts> are in the source after the partial render. Code Below. using (Ajax.BeginForm("CreateComment", "Blog", new AjaxOptions() { HttpMethod = "POST", UpdateTargetId = "CommentAdd", OnComplete="ReloadRecaptcha", OnSuccess = "ShowComment", OnFailure = "ShowComment", OnBegin = "HideComment" })) {%> <fieldset class="comment"> <legend>Add New Comment</legend> <%= Html.ValidationSummary()%>

<%= Html.CreateRecaptcha("recaptcha", "blackglass") %>
.... Remainder of Form Omitted for Brevity I've confirmed the Form is perfectly functional when the Recaptcha Control is not present and the Javascript calls in the AjaxOptions are all working fine. The problem is that if the ModelState is Invalid as a result of the Recaptcha or some other validation, then the ActionResult returns the View to reshow the form. [RecaptchaFilter(IgnoreOnMobile = true)] [HttpPost] public ActionResult CreateComment(Comment c) { if (ModelState.IsValid) { try { //Code to insert Comment To DB return Content("Thank You"); } catch { ModelState.AddRuleViolations(c.GetRuleViolations()); } } else { ModelState.AddRuleViolations(c.GetRuleViolations()); } return View("CreateComment", c); } When it's InValid and the form posts back, for some reason the ReCaptcha Control does not re-render. I've checked the source and the

<fb:login-button onlogin="facebook_onlogin();" v="2">Log In with Facebook</fb:login-button>
<?php $user = json_decode(file_get_contents( 'https://graph.facebook.com/me?access_token=' . $cookie['access_token']))->id; ?>

how on earth can i get this to work? thanks!

  • Login failed for user 'DOMAIN\MACHINENAME$'

    - by sah302
    I know this is almost duplicate of : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1269706/the-error-login-failed-for-user-nt-authority-iusr-in-asp-net-and-sql-server-2 and http://stackoverflow.com/questions/97594/login-failed-for-user-username-system-data-sqlclient-sqlexception-with-linq-i but some things don't add up compared to other appliations on my server and I am not sure why. Boxes being used: Web Box SQL Box SQL Test Box My Application: I've got aASP.NET Web Application, which references a class library that uses LINQ-to-SQL. Connection string set up properly in the class library. As per http://stackoverflow.com/questions/97594/login-failed-for-user-username-system-data-sqlclient-sqlexception-with-linq-i I also added this connection string to the Web Application. The connection string uses SQL credentials as so (in both web app and class library): <add name="Namespace.My.MySettings.ConnectionStringProduction" connectionString="Data Source=(SQL Test Box);Initial Catalog=(db name);Persist Security Info=True;User ID=ID;Password=Password" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" /> This connection confirmed as working via adding it to server explorer. This is the connection string my .dbml file is using. The problem: I get the following error: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Login failed for user 'DOMAIN\MACHINENAME$'. Now referencing this http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1269706/the-error-login-failed-for-user-nt-authority-iusr-in-asp-net-and-sql-server-2 it says that's really the local network service and using any other non-domain name will not work. But I am confused because I've checked both SQL Box and SQL Test Box SQL Management Studio and both have NT AUTHORITY/NETWORK SERVICE under Security - Logins, at the database level, that isn't listed under Security - Users, but at the database level Security - Users I have the user displayed in the connection string. At NTFS level on web server, the permissions have NETWORK SERVICE has full control. The reason why I am confused is because I have many other web applications on my Web Server, that reference databases on both SQL Box and SQL Test Box, and they all work. But I cannot find a difference between them and my current application, other than I am using a class library. Will that matter? Checking NTFS permissions, setup of Security Logins at the server and databases levels, connection string and method of connecting (SQL Server credentials), and IIS application pool and other folder options, are all the same. Why do these applications work without adding the machinename$ to the permissions of either of my SQL boxes? But that is what the one link is telling me to do to fix this problem.

  • How to support both HTTP and HTTPS channels in Flex/BlazeDS?

    - by digitalsanctum
    I've been trying to find the right configuration for supporting both http/s requests in a Flex app. I've read all the docs and they allude to doing something like the following: <default-channels>
<serialization> <log-property-errors>true</log-property-errors> </serialization>

<serialization> <log-property-errors>true</log-property-errors> </serialization>
This works great when hitting the app via https but get intermittent communication failures when hitting the same app via http. Here's an abbreviated services-config.xml: <channel-definition id="my-amf" class="mx.messaging.channels.AMFChannel"> <endpoint url="http://{server.name}:{server.port}/{context.root}/messagebroker/amf" class="flex.messaging.endpoints.AMFEndpoint"/> <properties> <add-no-cache-headers>false</add-no-cache-headers> <connect-timeout-seconds>10</connect-timeout-seconds> </properties> </channel-definition> <channel-definition id="my-secure-amf" class="mx.messaging.channels.SecureAMFChannel"> <endpoint url="https://{server.name}:{server.port}/{context.root}/messagebroker/amfsecure" class="flex.messaging.endpoints.AMFEndpoint"/> <properties> <add-no-cache-headers>false</add-no-cache-headers> <connect-timeout-seconds>10</connect-timeout-seconds> </properties> </channel-definition> I'm running with Tomcat 5.5.17 and Java 5. The BlazeDS docs say this is the best practice. Is there a better way? With this config, there seems to be 2-3 retries associated with each channel defined in the default-channels element so it always takes ~20s before the my-amf channel connects via a http request. Is there a way to override the 2-3 retries to say, 1 retry for each channel? Thanks in advance for answers.
