• QT sqlite deploy exe

  I have a Qt exe built from visual studio 2005(after taking the .cpp, .h, .moc, ui_ files) I have done some simple QSqlite queries. It works fine in my development pc. But in another pc it crashes for the line below: QSqlDatabase mSqlDb How to run the exe so that it can interact with sqlite from another pc. [Any other gui application runs just fine.] So which things are necessary to deploy a sqlite-qt application ?

When you use XML files in a Flex application and then compile it to upload it in the server, Flex Buidler generates a swf file with the xml data embedded. As for now, I use cron that works every minute and activates a task that repeats itself every 5 seconds with sleeps between, for a minute. However, it works also when the application isn't being used. Is there a gem that will do this kind of thing?

But since varchar is non-unicode based it displays character strings like "????????".   In one of my application I'm using the WebClient class to download files from a web server. Depending on the web server sometimes the application download millions of documents. It seems to be when there are lot of documents, performance vise the WebClient doesn't scale up well. Also it seems to be the WebClient doesn't immediately close the connection it opened for the WebServer even after it successfully download the particular document. I would like to know what other alternatives I have.

  Hi, I've a SPJob Scheduled with a package (wsp) installation which update web.config and a Application Page which also build to update web.config. The problem is when I install the package it successfully update the web.config. I've confirmed the changes. Now, when we go to our Application Page which also successfully update the web.config but I lost the changes made during package installation. Any idea what would I be doing wrong? Thanks.

QMainWIndow that contains stackedWidget , the application starts with stackedWidget index 0 that contains qwebkit widget and after some user flow ,it changes to stackedWidget index 1 that contains QTree widget , to center the first widget i use in the QMainWindow constractor this line of code this-setCentralWidget(ui.webView); but when the application switching to index number 1 im getting exception that is coming from the switching command . why ?

  We have moderate application using Spring but we started using GWT in another application and are completely sold on Guice. Now, considering converting from Spring to Guice or using both where Guice is used for IoC is an option. Did you have to make similar decisions? Did you keep Spring for other components or had to replace it with alternative framework(s) completely?
