Unable to install app on ipad

I am trying to install an application that I have compiled on an ipad but am getting the following error (more or less...) when itunes tries to install it:

The application was not installed on the ipad because an unknown error occurred 0xE80000051

Any leads would be appreciated. I have tried authorizing itunes but this made no difference.
