I just subscribed to a dedicated server offer, and encounter some bad PHP execution performances. Actually, the time execution may be 2 times bigger than it is on my old mutualized server! I'm definitely not an expert in server management, so I'm wondering what I missed.

Is it normal to get such poor performances after a kernel update and basics "apt-get install" for apache2 and php ?
