  • Recommended way to develop using Jetty and Eclipse

    Hi, I am currently developing a J2EE application and I would like to use Jetty. I would like to have iot integrated with Eclipse, so I could debug the appliaction. I've tried out couple of plugins (including WTP) but nothing works well enough. Run Jetty Run plugin is the best, but I cannot specify context-root in it, which makes it unusable for me. What would you recommend?

    Hey, So I'm dealing with a csv file that has missing values. What I want my script to is: #!/usr/bin/python import csv import sys #1. Place each record of a file in a list. #2. Iterate thru each element of the list and get its length. #3. If the length is less than one replace with value x. reader = csv.reader(open(sys.argv[1], "rb")) for row in reader: for x in row[:]: if len(x)< 1: x = 0 print x print row Here is an example of data, I trying it on, ideally it should work on any column lenghth Before: actnum,col2,col4 xxxxx , , xxxxx , 845 , xxxxx , ,545 After actnum,col2,col4 xxxxx , 0 , 0 xxxxx , 845, 0 xxxxx , 0 ,545 Any guidance would be appreciated

  • Can I mix drive types in an HP server?

    I currently have the following setup: HP DL380 G4 Server 6 x 73GB, Ultra160, 10k, SCSI 80 Pin Drives Smart Array 6i Controller RAID 5 One of the drives is failing and needs to be replaced. I have on hand drives that are the same size and type, but are Ultra320, 15k instead. I have verified that these drives work in another system with the same type of drive controller. When I plug one of these in the system simply reports the drive as being offline and has nothing further to do with it. From what I have read these drives should be compatable. Should this work at all and if so, what might be preventing it?

  • Nginx vs Apache as reverse proxy, which one to choose

    Hi, this kind of question maybe has been asked here but I couldn't find any that really match my question. Heard that nginx performance is quite impressive, but Apache has more docs, community(read:expert) to get help Now what I want to know, how both web servers compare in term of performance, easiness of config, level of customization,etc. AS REVERSE PROXY server in a vps environment?? I'm still weighing between the two for a ruby web app(not ROR) served with thin server. Specific answer will be much appreciated. General answer not touching the ruby part is okay. I'm still noob in web server administration.

  • NameServer SOA records misconfigured

    This is my config of NS. hostingdk.com. SOA zone1.hostingdk.com admin.hostingdk.com 2010051905; 43100; 7200; 2419100; 86400; hostingdk.com. NS zone1.hostingdk.com. hostingdk.com. NS zone2.hostingdk.com. zone1.hostingdk.com. A 96.30.49.11 zone2.hostingdk.com. A 96.30.46.238 Both zone1 & zone2 have registered name server in Enom domain control panel. My problem is, one domain .lv cant not change DNS to my NS. They said: Error : Nameserver zone1.hostingdk.com cannot be queried for SOA Error : Nameserver zone2.hostingdk.com cannot be queried for SOA Please help me, how to fix it ?

  • How to get XP style alt-tab on windows 7?

    Is there anyway in windows 7 to change the behavior of alt-tab so that it acts like it did in XP? What I want is for it to show the icon of the program, not a thumbnail of the window. Most of the thumbnails look alike and its really hard to instantly tell which is which like I could on XP.

  • Android Scaled Drawing to ImageView

    Newbie question, so there's probably a simple answer to this problem. I'm drawing some simple shapes using canvas.drawCircle(), canvas.drawLine() etc. I originally copied the code from: http://developer.android.com/resources/samples/ApiDemos/src/com/example/android/apis/graphics/DrawPoints.html Which extends a View and draws directly to a canvas. It doesn't load a pre-drawn bitmap because I need my application to turn data into a drawing and the user will enter the data. My changes work, but the drawing is too small (or big) and doesn't fill the screen using all the available screen. Ideally I'd rather use something like an ImageView in .XML like so: If that's possible. The documentation seems to imply that I want to set the scaleType as shown in the above .XML which seems like the simple way to do this. If using an ImageView in .XML is a good idea, then I'm lost on how to draw to the ImageView and could use some guidance on doing that task. If that won't work, then I'll need to do some more thinking about how to get my drawing scaled on the screen and basically I'm lazy and would rather have Android do the work for me. Feel free to suggest some other way that's completely different is this is the wrong solution path. :) Thanks.

    Hi What was that "wpf trigger events after a few Milli-seconds" ;) Let me explain about that: I have a wpf form with few controls. some of these control over-writing template. for example a textblock with an effect will be trigger on Mouse-Enter event and change color of foreground to something else. But after running program when mouse enter on textBloc, it takes a few Milli-seconds until Mouse-enter event triggers. also all control or better say all control which use mouse-events have this problem. How solve this problem???

    Hi, Is there a way to calculate a time stamp for the next coming up of a week day? So for instance, with friday, i'd like to be able to run some code that calculates that from today Wednesday 19/05/10, the next friday will be 21/05/10 and get a time stamp from it. I know the date command can parse a given string date according to a format, but I can't figure out how to calculate "next friday from today" Any idea? Cheers Ben

    I am using crossSlide jquery plugin for my slideshow. My container is bigger than the images inside it so the tendency of the images is positioned into left.     I have an app that is going to navigate to a UISplitView (inside another view altogether) like so: - (void) switchToMyDayView { NSLog(@"Show My Day Screen"); if (self.myDayController.view.superview == nil) { if (self.myDayController == nil) { MyDayController *myController = [[MyDayController alloc] initWithNibName:@"MyDay" bundle:nil]; self.myDayController = myController; [myController release]; } [homeScreenController.view removeFromSuperview]; [self.view insertSubview:self.myDayController.view atIndex:0]; } } Which is done on the main navigation screen Now, the MyDayController has a XIB called MyDay.xib which has these items: File's Owner: MyDayController First Responder: UIResponder Split View Controller ---->Navigation Controller ---->Navigation Bar ----> Table View Controller ----> Navigation Item ---->View Controller So, I need some more components here, I need a UITableViewController and a UISplitViewControllerDelegate correct? I was going to just implement these protocols in my MyDayController, is this sort of standard? So, after the code above, I get an error: -[UIViewController _loadViewFromNibNamed:bundle:] loaded the "MyDay" nib but the view outlet was not set. so, how can I fix it using the UISplitViewController? I know that the UISplitViewController has a view property, but I cannot use it/connect it up in IB can I? Thanks a lot Mark

  • Do you know of a bleeding-edge HTML5 leveraging, legacy-ignoring JavaScript framework?

    What's the best framework (sort of jquery, extjs, etc like) to use if I'd like to intensively use all the freshest technologies of the HTML5 stack provided by modern browsers (Firefox 3.6+ (Minefield especially), Safari 4+, Chrome 4+) and have absolutely no need to support any legacy browsers (incl. no need in IE support at all, no need in Firefox prior to 3.5, etc.)? I'd like to get all the newest available goodness without having (even abstracted by a library layer) a line of code meant just fore legacy compatibility and keeping no legacy-induced things in mind. To soften the filter, taking very humble hope of such an ideally fresh framework to exist, the least (the maximum level of legacy support) I'd like to agree is not supporting IE versions older than IE8, or better just not supporting IE at all.

    Hey, What SQL query would I have to use if I want to get the results from a table 'messages' but exclude rows that have the value in 'messages_view' where field messages.message=messages_view.id AND messages.deleted=1 AND messages_view.user=$somephpvariable In more laymen terms, I have a messages table with each message denoted by an 'id' as well as a messages_view table connected with a 'message' field. I want to get the rows in message that are not deleted (comes from messages_view) for a specific 'user'. 'deleted'=1 when the message is deleted.
