  • How to track which character is deleted in TextBox in WPF?

    I want to track which character is deleted by the user through Delete or BackSpace Key. I am handling RichTextBox_ChangedEvent of textbox. Can I extract the deleted character from TextChangedEventArgs *e.Changes* and if yes How can I do that? I want to restrict user to from deleting any characters from the TextBox. I want user can delete only two characters ( let's say "(" or ")" ) Please suggest.

  • Store global values for use in a wordpress theme

    How/Where can I store some values such as a phone number or email address so I can use these values on any page in a my custom theme? Example: I want to store a contact phone number that should be displayed in the header file of my theme but i dont want to hardcode it into the html. I would like to store it in a simerlar way custom values are stored but accessable from any theme page.

  • CDATA xml parsing extra greater than problem

    Hi, I am creating an xml using php and parsing that xml in iphone application code. In description field there is some html tags and text. I am using following line to convert this html tags in to xml tag using CDATA. $response .= '<desc><![CDATA['.trim($feed['fulltext']).']]></desc>'; Now, here my $feed['fulltext'] value is like this <span class="ABC">...text...</span> In xml I am getting following response, <desc><![CDATA[><span class"ABC">...text...</span>]]></desc> You can see here, I am getting an extra greater-than symbol just before the value of $feed['fulltext'] starts. (like this: ...text...) Any solution or suggestion for this? Thanks in advance. Cheers.

  • Umbraco, Macintosh and some working blog software

    I have a website that is using Umbraco as it's CMS. Everything is working great on a PC. Am able to use Windows Live Writer to create blogs with no problems at all. My problem comes when the Macintosh users try to blog. I have tried loads of different software packages, MarsEdit, Bloggo etc. but none seem to work. Has anyone had any joy with blog software on a Macintosh using Umbraco as the backend?

  • MySQL & tmpfs : performance

    I was wondering if, and how much, using tmpfs could improve MySQL performance and how it should be done ? My guess would be to do mount -t tmpfs -o size=256M /path/to/mysql/data/DatabaseName, and to use the database normally but maybe I'm wrong (I'm using MyISAM tables only). Will a hourly rsync between the tmpfs /path/to/mysql/data/DatabaseName and /path/to/mysql/data/DatabaseName_backup penalize performances ? If so, how should I make the backup of the tmpfs database ? So, is it a good way to do things, is there a better way or am I losing my time ?

  • How to make quicksilver remember custom trigger

    I am trying to make a custom trigger for my shell/apple script file to run so I can just launch my dev environment at the push of a button. So basically: I have a shell script(and some apple script included) in ~ named start_server.sh which does 3 things: start up solr server start up memcached start up script/server I have a saved quicksilver command(.qs) that opens up start_server.sh(so start_server.sh, then the action is "Run in Terminal") I created a custom trigger that calls this saved qs command. I did that then tested it and it works. I then tried to double check it so I quit quicksilver and when I checked the triggers it just said: "Open (null)" as the action. I set the trigger again and when i restarted QS the same thing happened again. I don't know why but my old custom trigger to open terminal has worked since forever so why doesn't this one work?   • data transfer rate anomaly (internet)

    I tested my internet speed at speedtest.net. And go the result. .42Mbps Download and .21 Upload rate. My classmate got the same download speed of .42Mbps but has .87Mbps upload rate. Does upload rate affect the transfer rate?Because even though we got the same download speed. His transfer rate is about 100kbps downloading a movie from a torrent. And mine is only about 47kbps. Also the same torrent. And even direct download its always 47kbps. Is it possible to tweak something in order to have higher transfer rates. Other details: Were also both using the same ISP. The same slow ISP. And it seems that he's getting the most out of his connection even if his plan is lower than mine. I just don't know why I'm a loser at this. And when I try to complain to the ISP. They say that I'm getting the minimum speed and its okay. That really sucks. And I'm not using any router, so is he. The computer is directly connected to the internet using the modem provided by the ISP.

I need to select all values from table which between times of both columns compared to getdate()' time. I'm using SQL-Server 2005. example startDate endDate value1 2/2/01 16:00 2/2/01 18:00 1 2/2/01 21:00 2/2/01 22:00 2 2/2/01 05:00 2/2/01 22:00 3 getdate() gives 2/2/2000 21:40 so i need to get value1 2 and 3 thanks in advance

    Hi All, I need a small help on rotating one image around its center of axis among multiple images those are drawn to canvas in android. I am loading images to canvas like below. canvas.drawBitmap(mMachineBackground, 0, 0, null); canvas.drawBitmap(mMachineRotator, 0, 0, null); I want to rotate only the second bitmap instead of entire canvas. And, I want to move another particular bitmap half circular like earth rotating around sun(in this case only for half circular). Please help me in this.   • System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization Namespace Fine in One Class but Not in Another

    Hi. I'm getting this error The type or namespace name 'DataVisualization' does not exist in the namespace 'System.Windows.Forms' (are you missing an assembly reference?) Here is my using section of the class: using System; using System.Collections; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization.Charting; using System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization.Charting.Borders3D; using System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization.Charting.ChartTypes; using System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization.Charting.Data; using System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization.Charting.Formulas; using System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization.Charting.Utilities; namespace myNamespace { public class myClass { // Usual class stuff } } The thing is that I am using the same DataVisualization includes in another class. The only thing that I can think that is different is that the classes that are giving this missing namespace error are Solution Items rather than specific to a project. The projects reference them by link. Anyone have thoughts on what the problem is? I've installed the chart component, .Net 3.5 SP1, and the Chart Add-in for Visual Studio 2008. UPDATE: I moved the items from Solution Items to be regular members of my project and I'm still seeing the same behavior. UPDATE 2: Removing the items from the Solution Items and placing them under my project worked. Another project was still referencing the files which is why I didn't think it worked previously. I'm still curious, though, why I couldn't use the namespace when the classes were Solution Items but moving them underneath a project (with no modifications, mind you) instantly made them recognizable. :\

I created Event and Event handler in Component. I have two questions: How to raise event on Graph Component via those a_hrefs (should they be part of Graph?)? How to redraw Graph without loosing curent page context (section, filter - specified as $_GET values)?
