  • Catch PyGTK TreeView reorder

    I have a simple gtk.TreeView with a gtk.ListStore model and set_reorderable(True), I want to catch the signal/event emited when the user reorder through drag&drop the list, but the documentation does not help much: "The application can listen to these changes by connecting to the model's signals" So I tried to connect the model (ListStore) signals... but surprise! ListStore has no signals, so you are dispatched to TreeModel signals, then I tried to connect with the TreeModel "rows-reordered" signal with no lucky. How should I catch the list reorder performed by the user?

  • Help with Hashmaps in Java

    I'm not sure how I use get() to get my information. Looking at my book, they pass the key to get(). I thought that get() returns the object associated with that key looking at the documentation. But I must be doing something wrong here....   • iPhone and OpenCV

    Hello, I am writing an application to create a movie file from a bunch of images on an iPhone. I am using OpenCv. I downloaded openCv static libraries for arm(iPhones native instruction architecture) and the libraries were generated just fine. There were no problems linking to them libraries. As a first step, i was trying to create a .avi file using one image, to see if it works. But cvCreateVideoWriter always returns me a NULL value. I did some searchin and i believe its due to the codec not being present. I am trying this on the iPhone simulator. this is what i do...   • Running a python script for a user-specified amount of time?

    Sorry, this is probably a terrible question. I've JUST started learning python today. I've been reading a Byte of Python. Right now I have a project for Python that involves time. I can't find anything relating to time in Byte of Python, so I'll ask you: How can I run a block for a user specified amount of time and then break? For example (in some pseudo-code): time = int(raw_input('Enter the amount of seconds you want to run this: ')) while there is still time left: #run this block or even better: import sys time = sys.argv[1] while there is still time left: #run this block Thanks for any help. Also, additional online guides and tutorials would be much appreciated. I really like Byte of Python. Dive into Python can't quite hold my attention, though. I suppose I should suck it up and try harder to read that one.

    hi i need to perform drill down data grid operation using silver light . the screen shoot wat i have provided is done using asp.net and image 1 now i have done the same thing using silver light 4. n promblem: i havent added an image button in data grid i dnt know how to do it in silver light where i shold be placing eitther in datatemplate are wat ? . how to handle the event and change the state and once i click an row i should be changing the state of image that is from image1 to image2 telling the row is expanded i thinking by looking at the screen shoot you people can come to know wat i am actually looking for i want to display data in same way using expand and collpase using the image button any code on it how to achive this one would be really help full for me. plz help me out crying 4 an help from past 2days. i have searched entire google would not found how to solve the promblem thanks

  • ASP.NET cached aspx page & IIS logs

    Hi guys, Is there any way to find out if ASP.Net runtime has served a cached copy of ASPX page or actually went through the page life cycle? Here is my problem: I'm seeing many entries in my IIS log files that were served successfully (200 OK). I've a corresponding logging code (Log4Net API) in the Session_Start and Application_BeginRequest() events that is logging every request to my DB with more details. I'm not seeing any corresponding entries in my SQL DB for some cases that should have been created by Log4Net code. Are there any logs available to find out if a cached copy was served by .NET worker process? Moreover, if my logging code would throw an exception, won't that show up as 500 in IIS logs? The code is on Windows 2008 Server, IIS 7.

    When setting ExportFormatType.CharacterSeparatedValues crystal report generates every row of data prefixed with column names (Report Headers). Why it does this? How it could be fixed? Usually it is preferred to have single header. For excel export type - generated report looks ok (only single header for all rows). I am using crystal reports 11.5.3700.0.   • How to translate product name and info in Magento

    Hi everybody, Magento provide translation feature, a nice one for e-commerce platform. But it seems to me that the translation is only for the predefined magento keyword, like 'add to cart', 'add to wishlist' etc and not for the product name, info, and description that the user input to the store. Does anybody know how to implement this?? Any help would be much appreciated Thanks! :)

  • Content-disposition:inline header won't show images inline?

    I'm trying to show an image inline on a page. I know when the browser can't display the content inline it will force a download anyway, but these are PNG and GIF images which display in the browser fine otherwise. In IE it doesn't force a download but it displays the image in ASCII. If I comment out the entire image case it FF and Chrome both display the ASCII but not the image. I thought setting the content type would allow FF and Chrome to show the actual image, and also allow the location to be used as an src. The javascript and css shows fine of course. Anyone got any ideas how I can make the images show properly? Thanks :)

  • html form using input as a submit button

    Hello onlookers, A web site I've been using has some interesting behavior... There is a form, but there is no button for submission. Instead, there is an input: <input id="ctl00_pageContent_loginButton" type="image" style="border-width: 0px;" alt="Login" src="images/btn_login.gif" name="ctl00$pageContent$loginButton"/> and when you hover over it the cursor turns into a hand, like an anchor tag -- however I do not see any css (in firebug) showing that the input should have a hover attribute. Further, the input does not have any sign of being an actual link/submission button. I'm stumped -- would love to know how they were able to do this.   • Zend_Translate scan translation files

    I've trying to use Zend_Translate from Zend Framework I am using "POEdit" to generate "gettext" translation files. My files are under /www/mysite.com/webapps/includes/locale (this path is in my include path). I have: pictures.en.mo pictures.en.po (I plan on having pictures.es.mo soon) It all works fine if I manually do addTranslation() for each file. However I want to use the automatic file scanning method.   • Interactive World Map, highlight countries on mouseover

    I need to create an interactive world map on the front page of a site, the view portal will be about 650x200 pixels. The interactivity would include the following, mouse-over a country would highlight (the countries are will literally be filled with "red" for example) that country and display the countries' name (preferably text in a div), I will also be linking the highlighting event with a that will highlight a country when selected. I am having a difficult time finding a suitable solution, I refuse to use or learn a proprietry technology such as flash so it is not an option. I created a simple mockup using openlayers and a custom map image but the countries' markers load too slowly in IE6. Also svg seems too large, as I tried to use RaphaelJS, but abondoned it when I realised the world map data is 1.2mb which is totally un acceptable for the front page of a site.. I am really at a loss on how I am going to do this, my last resort is to manually create 250+ (however many countries there are) pngs and apply mouseover events to hotspots in the image... but this is probably going to be a dead end too.. desperately seeking a solution, any helpful comments will be appreciated!

  • Does SQL Server Compact Edition (SqlCe) have a SNAPSHOT table like Oracle Lite?

    In Oracle Lite, you can create a SNAPSHOT table which is like a normal table except that it tracks changes to itself. The syntax is CREATE SNAPSHOT TABLE tblWhatever ... and you can perform CRUD operations on it like a normal table. To get the change information, you query the table like this: SELECT * FROM tblWhatever + WHERE ... which returns all the rows in the table (including deleted ones) meeting the WHERE clause, and you can access each row's row_state column as a normal field (which is invisible to a normal SELECT * FROM tblWhatever WHERE ... query). Is there some way to do the same thing with Sql Compact Edition (3.5) - i.e. create a table that tracks changes without using RDA?
