  • How do we read the data from a public google spreadsheet using Zend_Gdata

    I have read the examples here: http://framework.zend.com/manual/en/zend.gdata.spreadsheets.html But those examples assume the spreadsheet to be read needs authentication: $service = Zend_Gdata_Spreadsheets::AUTH_SERVICE_NAME; $client = Zend_Gdata_ClientLogin::getHttpClient($user, $pass, $service); $spreadsheetService = new Zend_Gdata_Spreadsheets($client); $feed = $spreadsheetService->getSpreadsheetFeed(); The spreadsheet I am going to read from is a public one, so I don't really need to provide any authentication right? And what I need to provide is just the url of the spreadsheet.     Hello, We implementing offline feature to an existing application. We have implemented the syn with SQL Server internal change tracking and over WCF using MS Sync Framework (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/sync/default.aspx) All of our tables have primary key as integer, we cannot move to GUID. So as you are thinking we will have identity crises between applications. So we decided to go with the way Merge replication does(http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa179416(SQL.80).aspx) partition the primary key range. Below is the example scenario - Server Table A - ID Range - 0 to 100 Client 1 Table A - ID Range - 101 to 200 Client 2 Table A - ID Range - 201 to 300 how to implement this ? i know we can use BCC CHECKIDENT (yourtable, reseed, value) CHECK (([ID]<=(100))) but this does not solve the issue.... Merge replication provides an option of "Not for replication"(http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa237102(SQL.80).aspx) to achieve insert form clients and still maintain the set range.. can i use that somehow here? please help...

    I want to add an overlay view for my video when the video is paused by the user. Is there any way to get the pause notification from MPMoviePlayerController? According to Apple Doc, there should be ways to do this but I can't find which notification should I use for this purpose. Quote: In addition to being notified when playback finishes, interested clients can be notified in the following situations: -When the movie player begins playing, is paused, or begins seeking forward ...     After installing Qt SDK for Open Source C++ development on Mac OS by following the respective steps Note for the binary package: If you have the binary package, simply double-click on the Qt.mpkg and follow the instructions to install Qt. . Yes, that is all I have done to install Qt on MacOsX. Everything was going fine, until I run a sample application, of which compile output resulted in: No valid Qt version set. Set one in Preferences Error while building project qtilk When executing build step 'QMake' Canceled build.   • Versioning issues with assemblies

    Let's assume I have two assemblies: MyExecutable.dll version 1.0.0 MyClassLibrary.dll version 1.0.0 Now, MyExecutable.dll currently uses MyClassLibrary.dll's classes and methods (which include some algorithms). Most of those algorithms were made on the run, being that later I'll want to refine them if needed. This means, I won't change the interface of those classes but the code itself will see some changes. The question at hand is, MyExecutable.dll will be expecting MyClassLibrary.dll 1.0.0 and I'll want it to use version 1.0.1 (or something like that). I don't want to have to recompile MyExecutable.dll(because actually there might be more than just one executable using MyClassLibrary.dll). Is there a solution for this problem? I've heard about the GAC, but if possible I'd like to stay away from it. Thanks

  • No such directory when committing files using CVS from Eclipse

    Hi all I am using Eclipse solely as a CVS client. Mostly it works very good, but once in a while, when I am right-clicking a file to commit it (a file that it itself says is changed and ready for commit), it tells me "cvs [server aborted]: no such directory `...' But the directory DOES exist?! If I navigate to the folder using tortoise CVS and right click for commit, it works fine? (this is the way I finally have to get those files committed) Has anyone experienced this as well, and more importantly - has anyone solved it? :) I am running Vista on the client PC and the CVS server is a Windows Server 2003 (please dont tell me to just switch to Linux - that is not much help).   • Execute code when Eclipse workbench loads

    Hi! I'm writing an Eclipse plug-in and I've bumped into an issue. Amongst others I'm creating a new custom perspective. I need to execute some code when the workbench loads. I'm using a WorkbenchAdvisor and putting the code in the initialize method. However as it is now it's not being called... Apparently I need to call this PlatformUI.createAndRunWorkbench(display, new ApplicationWorkbenchAdvisor(); but I don't know where to put this... I can't put it in the createInitialLayout of the perspective because this is only called when the perspective is created for the first time. Any ideas please? Thanks and regards, Krt_Malta

    Is there a bug in the 3.0 SDK that disables real-time zooming and intercepting the zoom-in gesture for the MKMapView? I have some real simple code so I can detect tap events, but there are two problems: zoom-in gesture is always interpreted as a zoom-out none of the zoom gestures update the Map's view in realtime. In hitTest, if I return the "map" view, the MKMapView functionality works great, but I don't get the opportunity to intercept the events. Any ideas?     During document processing I want to extract all dates from html meta data and then identify the latest date which will be used to populate a date field (dtgeneric1). <meta name="OriginalPublicationDate" content="2010/04/21 12:06:36" /> <meta name="LastModificationDate" content="2010/04/22 14:10:16" /> + other non-date meta data Inspection using spy stages shows that our pipeline already adds meta_* attributes but the meta data names will be different across documents from different sources. #### ATTRIBUTE meta_originalpublicationdate <class 'docproc.DocumentAttributes.TextChunks'>: 2010/04/21 12:06:36 #### ATTRIBUTE meta_lastmodificationdate <class 'docproc.DocumentAttributes.TextChunks'>: 2010/04/22 14:10:16 + other non-date meta attributes Ideally we would like to pass all the meta_* attributes to a Python stage and use that to work out which are dates and which is the largest but there seems to be no way of specifying "all meta attributes" as input.   • CSS Extra Small Spacing

    http://www.dougymak.com/cnit133/hw8.part4.html So if you look at the tabs and look at hw2, you'll notice it has a little extra spacing that overlaps the spacing on the right. That's because wrapped the div in the <li>. You will notice the others not having it. I don't understand why is it making that extra little spacing after I wrap it. Just for the record, this is for CSS spacing which has nothing to do with the JS.
