  • Apt-Get "sources.list needs at least 1 source-URI" error when building dependecies for Xen

    What i'm trying to do is install Xen in a test environment, now I am trying to run the: apt-get build-dep xen-3.3 command, but it keep throwing a error which literally translated from dutch (installed the debian OS in Dutch) say's: E: your sourcelist (/etc/apt/sources.list) has to contain at least 1 source-URI I've googled it but I can't seem to find a definitive solid answer on how to fix this. By default a source-URI (read man page of apt-get) states it needs to be something along the lines of deb ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian stable contrib Now I've got 2 HTTP sources (default Debian ones) up & running so far and they've been working flawlessly for the better part of a few days now. Only now its starting to act up. Anyone able to help me out ? Much obliged !

  • Generic class implementing interface fails

    A meet a strange problem at compimation saying that a class does not implement an interface. Lets say a v got a class: public Class MyClass { ... } And an interace: public Interface IMyInterface { MyClass PropertyOfMyClass {get;} } and now a generic class: public class MyGeneric<T> where T:MyClass { T PropertyOfMyClass { get{return ...;} } } Until here everythings fine and compiles right. But this will break at compilation time: public class MyGeneric<T>:IMyInterace where T:MyClass { T PropertyOfMyClass { get{return ...;} } } Saying that MyGeneric does not implements method of IMyInterface. But obviously it does, not ?

  • is there a tool to see the difference between two database tables in mssql?

    What is a good tool to see the differences between 2 tables (or even better, the datasets returned by 2 queries). EDIT: I'm not interested in the schema changes. Just assume that the schemas are the same. background as to why: I'm porting some legacy code which can fill a database with some pre-calced data. The easiest way to see if I got everything right, is to check the output of the old program, with the new one. I was thinking that if there is some kind of 'diff' tool for databases, this might be great.

  • Binding FontStyles and FontWeights to WPF ComboBox

    I was just wondering if it would be possible to bind the list of available FontStyles and FontWeights to a ComboBox? For example, to bind the list of fonts to a combobox you can use: FontComboBox.ItemsSource = Fonts.SystemFontFamilies; Can I also have something for : FontStyleComboBox.ItemsSource = .... FontWeightComboBox.ItemsSource = .... ? Would it require reflection on the System.Windows.FontWeights and System.Windows.FontStyles classes or would there be an easier way than that? Thanks

  • PHP error logging - can I log all ofg the site's error to a single file?

    hi, in PHP.INI, I can set the variable "error_log" and it is currently set to "error_log", which manes one file of that name in each directory Do you know ... if I set it to "public_html/error_log" - will I get only one single error log file? Any other way to do so? I really just want a single site-wide error file to check, rather than one on each sub-directory. For bonus marks, can I send myself an email each time a new entry is added to the file? Left as an exercise for the reader - can I ignore some "errors" which aren't really?

  • Maven2 junit timeout annotation doesn't work

    We have a bunch of tests in a maven2 project and build with cruisecontrol. However the build regularly hangs, because the annotation of the test with a timeout @Test(timeout = 5000) is ignored. I tried and run maven locally, reproducing the fact, that the timeout is ignored. Is there a way to activate the timeout for the tests again? I currently use a work arround in setting a timeout in cruisecontrol. However this simply means that the whole build is chancelled, and not just the tests that should fail. Remark: It seems in maven 1 there was a property to activate the junit timeout which is missing in maven 2.

    Hi! Is there a way to return a new version of an array/hash that does not contain all the methods/functions that prototype extends the array object with?     I have a Point2D class as follows: class Point2D{ int x; int y; public: Point2D(int inX, int inY){ x = inX; y = inY; }; int getX(){return x;}; int getY(){return y;}; }; Now I have defined a class Line as: class Line { Point2D p1,p2; public: LineVector(const Point2D &p1,const Point2D &p2):p1(p1),p2(p2) { int x1,y1,x2,y2; x1=p1.getX();y1=p1.getY();x2=p2.getX();y2=p2.getY(); } }; Now the compiler gives the error in the last line( where getX() etc are called): error: passing `const Point2D' as `this' argument of `int Point2D::getX()' discards qualifiers If I remove the const keyword at both places, then it compiles successfully. What is the error? Is it because getX() etc are defined inline? Is there any way to recify this retaining them inline?

  • C# Net CF - how to take a picture without interaction?

    Hello everyone, Is there a possibility to take a picture using phone's camera without user interaction? I'd like to write a short app that only takes sequence of pictures and the user should be able to set number of pictures, location, quality and time between shots. After starting the app should take pictures without further interaction. This program should for examlple take a sequence of 250 pictures of moving clouds so I could make a ten second movie from those pics. Greeting and sorry for my english ;)

  • Location of various javax.xml.* packages within the Java 6 SDK.

    Alright, so recently I was using Notepad++ for all of my programming needs, but I've started using Eclipse for larger-scale Java projects now. I decided to pick up an old project of mine which used various classes within the "javax.xml.*" namespaces. When I was compiling and running the program with Notepad++ it worked just fine, however Eclipse can't seem to find these packages. My question is this, since I obviously have the classes somewhere within my current installation of JDK 6 (since I had no problems when using Notepad++), where can I find the location of the .JAR file(s) that include these namespaces/classes so that I can add them to my Eclipse project?   • C++ File manipulation problem

    I am trying to open a file which normally has content, for the purpose of testing i will like to initialize the program without the files being available/existing so then the program should create empty ones, but am having issues implementing it. This is my code originally void loadFiles() { fstream city; city.open("city.txt", ios::in); fstream latitude; latitude.open("lat.txt", ios::in); fstream longitude; longitude.open("lon.txt", ios::in); while(!city.eof()){ city >> cityName; latitude >> lat; longitude >> lon; t.add(cityName, lat, lon); } city.close(); latitude.close(); longitude.close(); } I have tried everything i can think of, ofstream, ifstream, adding ios::out all all its variations. Could anybody explain me what to do in order to fix the problem. Thanks!

  • Close socket handle utility

    Hi I need a utility to close server socket handles open by the process, on windows. I cannot use tcpview as it does not close the server socket (ESTABLISHED state). Process explorer comes close with its handle list and "close handle" option, but it only gives the handle path (like \Device\Afd) and if application has open many such sockets I cannot tell which handle I would like to close. Any idea?

  • KMS / Office 2010... please point to documentation.

    Trying to find out how to "modify" KMS to also accept the Office 2010 KMS key. Can anyone point me to some document about this? Basically - do I have to install an update to KMS? I wand my KMS server to authenticate both, Windows (It currently has a DataCenter R2 KMS key installed) as well as Office 2010. Keys are available ;) I can not imagine I just ptu it in - would this not overwrite the DataCenter key? I tried the MSDN website, but there is no clear document visible for my question.
