    I have to find the indentid from the status table based on below two conditions: 1. If there are more than one record having same indentid in status table and the same indentID has count1 in feasibilitystatus table then I don't want to display the record. 2. If there is only one record of indentid in status table and the same indentID has count0 in feasibilitystatus table then I don't want to display the record. Query: select distinct s.indentid from status s where s.status='true' and s.indentid not in( select case when count(s.indentid)>1 then (select indentid from feasibilitystatus group by indentid having count(indentid)>1) else (select indentid from feasibilitystatus group by indentid having count(indentid)>0) end as indentid from status) Error: An aggregate may not appear in the WHERE clause unless it is in a subquery contained in a HAVING clause or a select list, and the column being aggregated is an outer reference.

    Is there a shorthand way to denullify a string in C#? It would be the equivalent of (if 'x' is a string): string y = x == null ? "" : x; I guess I'm hoping there's some operator that would work something like: string y = #x; Wishful thinking, huh? The closest I've got so far is an extension method on the string class: public static string ToNotNull(this string value) { return value == null ? "" : value; } which allows me to do: string y = x.ToNotNull(); Any improvements on that, anyone?

    Hi, i have a litle problem if i create a dynamically IFRAME element and i agregate dynamically elements to the new iframe. It works If i do that: var miiframe=document.getElementById("miiframe"); var myElement=content.document.createElement("LABEL"); myElement.innerHTML="blabla"; miiframe.contentDocument.body.appendChild(myElement); but if i do that doesn't works: var miiframe=content.document.createElement("IFRAME"); miiframe.src="about:blank"; document.body.appendChild(miiframe); var myElement=content.document.createElement("LABEL"); myElement.innerHTML="blabla"; miiframe.contentDocument.body.appendChild(myElement); i see the iframe but i don't see the label element. The most courious is if before appendElement i do and alert it works!!! var miiframe=content.document.createElement("IFRAME"); miiframe.src="about:blank"; document.body.appendChild(miiframe); var myElement=content.document.createElement("LABEL"); myElement.innerHTML="blabla"; alert("now works!!!"); miiframe.contentDocument.body.appendChild(myElement); With DIV element works but i want do that with IFRAME element!!!     I get them theoretically, but I'm grappling with gzipping files in practice. How should I go about gzip compressing my files, and what needs to be done in order to use them on a shared host? Would the following work?     I'm getting the following error in my MVC2 app using Linq to SQL (I am new to both). I am connected to an actual SQL server not weird mdf: System.InvalidOperationException The null value cannot be assigned to a member with type System.Int64 which is a non-nullable value type My SQL table has a column called MessageID. It is BigInt type and has a primary key, NOT NULL and an IDENTITY 1 1, no Default In my dbml designer it has the following declaration for this field: [global::System.Data.Linq.Mapping.ColumnAttribute(Storage="_MessageId", AutoSync=AutoSync.OnInsert, DbType="BigInt NOT NULL IDENTITY", IsPrimaryKey=true, IsDbGenerated=true)] public long MessageId { get { return this._MessageId; } set { if ((this._MessageId != value)) { this.OnMessageIdChanging(value); this.SendPropertyChanging(); this._MessageId = value; this.SendPropertyChanged("MessageId"); this.OnMessageIdChanged(); } } } It keeps telling me that null cannot be assigned - I'm not passing through null! It's a long - it can't even be null! Am I doing something stupid? I can't find a solution anywhere! I made this work by changing the type of this property to Nullable<long> but surely this can't be right? Update: I am using InsertOnSubmit.   • Why does my perl script return a zero return code when I explicitly call exit with a non-zero parame

    I have a perl script which calls another script. The perl script should be propagating the script's return code but seems to be returning zero to its caller (a Java application) desipte the explicit call to exit $scriptReturnCode. It's probably something dumb since I'm by no means a perl expert. Code and output as follows (I realise that <=> could/should be != but that's what I have): print "INFO: Calling ${scriptDirectory}/${script} ${args}" $scriptReturnCode = system("${scriptDirectory}/${script} ${args}"); if ( $scriptReturnCode <=> 0 ) { print "ERROR: The script returned $scriptReturnCode\n"; exit $scriptReturnCode; } else { print "INFO: The script returned $scriptReturnCode.\n"; exit 0; } The output I have from my Java is: 20/04/2010 14:40:01 - INFO: Calling /path/to/script/script.ksh arg1 arg2 20/04/2010 14:40:01 - Could not find installer files <= this is from the script.ksh 20/04/2010 14:40:01 - ERROR: The script returned 256 20/04/2010 14:40:01 - Command Finished.   • SSRS charts: How can I display the n biggest slices / bars?

    Hi, I know how to group chart slices / bars below a certain threshold together into one bar. But if the data displayed in the chart contains lots of small slices, collecting slices below, say 5% results in a huge "other" bar. On the other hand, if I collect only slices below a very small treshold, the chart could contain too much data to be readable. So, how can I set a hard limit for the amount of slices, show the n biggest slices and collect everything else into one "other" slice. How can I do that with SSRS 2008? Thanks, Adrian

  • VisualAssert Testing in C++, Loading a test fixture.

    Good day, I am learning Testing in Visual Studio C++ and I have several tutorials which I have followed. I am trying to load a test fixture. I have tried to put the test .cpp file in many different places but it will still not pick up on it when I click on "Run Tests" or "Run Tests without debugging" In the tutorials I found, they seemed to load into the Test Explorer automatically, but in mine is an icon with a X + (PROJECTNAME).EXE and when I hoover over it I get the process exited without registering with the agent... this is due to the model not containing any test fixtures... How can I load my tests into the Test Explorer...or register them with my project... I've tried right click and "Add Fixture...".... but that just starts a new test file and I have the same problem. Anybody know how I solve this issue?

    My application layout looks good on two slightly different avds I created in the development environment using Eclipse. However when I try to run these devices in the Emulator as standalone I see some missing buttons and cropped edges on the screen. I used the apk generated by Eclipse and installed it in the devices using adb - install. I want to know what the problem is. Also, any general guidelines to write an app that can run on any Android device for a given version. Thanks in advance.

    R has a useful function pairs that provides nice matrix of plots of pairwise connections between variables in a data set. The resulting plot looks similar to the following figure, copied from this blog post: Is there any ready to use function based on python's matplolib? I have searched its gallery, but couldn't find anything that resembles what I need. Technically, this should be a simple task, but proper handling of all the possible cases, labels, titles, etc is very tedious.

    I have a two column TreeView attached to a ListStore. Both columns are CellRenderCombo combo boxes. When the user selects an entry in the first box, I need to dynamically load a set of options in the second. For example, the behavior I want is: On row 0, the user selects "Alphabet" in the first column box. The second column box is populated with the letters "A-Z". On row 1, the user selects "Numbers" in the first column box. The second column box is populated with the numbers "0-9". On row 2, the user selects "Alphabet" in the first column box. The second column box is populated with the letters "A-Z". etc. Does anyone know how to do this, or seen any open source pygtk or gtk projects that have similar behavior which I can analyze?

I need the tree traversal algorithm in such a way that a node can have more than 1 parent, if it's possible (found a great article here: Storing Hierarchical Data in a Database). Are there any algorithms so that, starting from a root node, we can determine the sequence and dependencies of nodes (currently reading topological sorting)?

  • C# WinForms ErrorProvider Control

    Hi Does anyone know if there is a way to get a list of controls that have the ErrorProvider icon active. ie. any controls that failed validation. I'm trying to avoid looping all controls in the form. I'd like to display some sort of message indicating how many errors there are on the form. As my form contains tabs I'm trying to make it apparent to the user that errors may exist on inactive tabs and they need to check all tabs. Thanks Barry

Where am I going wrong ?

The import of standard product is successful but not for the product with customs options. For customs option, missing "info_buyRequest" valu in database. The technical support of magento we responded "the import process currently can't handle importing products with custom options". Magento use custom options when ordering a product with customs options on website. What features do magento use to fill in the fields "info_buyRequest" and "Product_options" when ordering? I need to connect via remote desktop to a Windows XP machine (logging out the current user), do some stuff, and then logout the rdesktop session and having a user X which log in (from the front-end I mean). I try to be clearer: I've some windows XP machines which offers some interactive informations in public places. I need to rdekstop them to do some assistance, and then I'd like to logout and have the main user (the one which offers the service) logged back. I know there's a command for the windows prompt to achieve this, but cannot find it out!
