  • Cannot load rJava because cannot load a shared library

    I have been struggling to load the rJava package in R. I get the following messages > library(rJava) Error in inDL(x, as.logical(local), as.logical(now), ...) : unable to load shared library \ 'C:/PROGRA~1/R/R-210~1.1/library/rJava/libs/rJava.dll': LoadLibrary failure: The specified module could not be found. Error : .onLoad failed in 'loadNamespace' for 'rJava' Error: package/namespace load failed for 'rJava' I have tried so many solutions that they are all bamboozeled in my head. At some point I even got > R Console: Rgui.exe - System Error The > program can't start because > MSVCR71.dll is is missing from your > computer. Try reinstalling the program > to fix this problem.   • How to get the sending email address from outlook 2007

    I am working on outlook add-in project using Visual studio 2008 for MS Outlook 2007 in C#. Here I am explaining my problem... I got multiple accounts (3 Accounts) with my outlook 2007. I need to get accounts form Account box in New Mail Message window. When we click New Mail Message, a new window will appear from which we can send a new mail. Here (On this window) we can see Account Dropdown (Left side) under the Send Button. If we have multiple accounts with outlook, we can see all the accounts in Account Drop Down if we click on Account Box. If we click on the particular email, a right mark will appear to that Email Account and a message can bee seen on the top of the Send button is "This message will be sent via [email protected]". So, I want to get these email accounts into a string and that particular email account (which has right mark) into another string. I got these 3 email accounts into a string. But, I am not getting the particular email account(which has the right mark when we send a new email). I am using this code.... using Outlook = Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook; using Office = Microsoft.Office.Core; using Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook; Outlook._Application myOutlookApp = new Outlook.Application(); Outlook.Accounts myAccounts = myOutlookApp.Session.Accounts; foreach (Outlook.Account account in myAccounts) { string emailAddress = account.SmtpAddress; } I am able to get all the accounts from the above code..But, I just want to get the email address which we will use for sending an email at that particular moment..

  • Access Assests from another application?

    I get a lot of requests in my application to allow for custom icons packs from BetterCut / Open Home. The way it seems to work is you install BetterCut or Open Home, then you can install tons of these free icon packs from the market. Once installed both those apps (and other apps) will poll for those icon packs and use the icons. I want to know how to poll the install applications for the asset folders that are available. I have opened up a few of the icon packs and verified that there is an assets folder in there and they are full of all the icon png files. I've searched on here, other code sites, google, etc but havn't found any leads.

  • Resize and saving an image to disk in Monotouch

    I'm trying to resize an image loaded from disk - a JPG or PNG (I don't know the format when I load it) - and then save it back to disk. I've got the following code which I've tried to port from objective-c, however I've got stuck on the last parts. Original Objective-C.   • Federated (Synced) Subversion servers?

    Is it possible to create "federated" Subversion servers? As in one server at location A and another at location B that sync up their local versions of the repository automatically. That way when someone at either location interacts with the repository they are accessing their respective local server and therefore has faster response times.

  • Junit Parameterized tests together with Powermock - how!?

    Hi! I've been trying to figure out how to run parameterized tests in Junit4 together with PowerMock. The problem is that to use PowerMock you need to decorate your test class with @RunWith(PowerMock.class) and to use parameterized tests you have to decorate with @RunWith(Parameterized.class) From what I can see they seem mutually excluded!? Is this true? Is there any way around this? I've tried to create a parameterized class within a class running with PowerMock; something like this: @RunWith(PowerMock.class) class MyTestClass { @RunWith(Parameterized.class) class ParamTestClass { // Yadayada } } But unfortunately this doesn't do much good... The ParamTestClass still doesn't run with PowerMock support (not that surprisingly maybe)... And I've kind of run out of ideas so any help is greatly appreciated!

    I'm looking for a package to support reliably executing external processes from Java. My criteria: Abstract over OS. So if I want to run 'foo', it will look for 'foo.bat', 'foo.exe' under windows and 'foo' under other OSs (or, have a way of passing a map of os-command) Being able to execute Java classes by simply giving the class name and arguments (so the package locates the java command, copies jvm flags and then executes) Process stdout and stderr properly Watchdog / Monitoring capabilities I've looked at commons-exec but it looks like it answers only 3 & 4. Ant has support for execution but looks like an overkill to use it for this purpose only.

  • specifying multiple Error in aov

    Greetings to all This is my model: aov.fit<-aov(Y~A+B+C+D+E+A:C+A:E, data=dat) In summary(aov.fit) all F values are comptuted by eg MS(A)/MS(Residuals). This is not correct (or what I want), except for F(B) and F(A:E). I suppose P values are not correct either. Can I specify how the F computations will be done? I 'd like them to be like this: F(A)=MS(A)/MS(E), F(C)=MS(C)/MS(E), F(D)=MS(D)/MS(E), F(E)=MS(E)/MS(A:E), F(A:C)=MS(A:C)/MS(A:E) thanks

  • Using emacs across many hosts

    On a daily basis I: use multiple workstations running either Linux, Windows, or MacOS X edit files on additional Linux hosts that are not any of the workstations mentioned above The only common element here is that the internet connects all of these hosts: workstations and servers. I can keep all of the config files in sync on my workstations too and can run an X server on all of them. What's the right way of running emacs? I don't want to sacrifice any features. In my ideal world I can type 'emacs foo.txt' on a remote host and some magic happens via X forwarding to display the file in my workstation's existing emacs session. Non-solutions tramp: when I'm manipulating a remote host an editor is just part of my workflow. I need a terminal open so I can run other commands quickly. tramp is all wrong for this. ncurses emacs: sucks, I want the graphical kind If you don't have a positive answer to my question, please don't just guess.   • SMTP Relay through exchange

    Hi guys, We have a bit of a problem in that we want our printers to email our contractor whenever they develop a fault. The problem is on our corporate network we have no access through the firewall to the internet preventing us to use the external SMTP server. So i suppose the question is can we use our exchange server to do this? IE could I run an SMTP service that would forward to the exchange server which would then send the mail to the contractor? Any ideas welcome! Thanks John

    Has anyone had experience using VMs as remote desktops for public access terminals (e.g. an internet cafe) In our case we don't want to charge money for access but I figure this solution has a few advantages, such as: can easily re-build VMs daily, erasing private data and clutter can use rickety old PCs for the 'dumb' terminals less IT support needed on site Can you suggest tools to help do this? Keeping the terminals up and running as much of the time as possible is the main priority, so they need to boot straight into full screen remote desktop and stay there.

  • Removing files on a limit access backup server

    I have an account on a backup server but it's full, so I need to clear it. The problem is that It's only accessible via FTP, SFTP and Rsync (no shell) Deleting lots of small files (as in, multiple full Linux installations), which I have to do, is undoable over FTP/SFTP because it cannot recursively delete directories in one command (Yes, most clients will fake this by issueing all the seperate commands for you but the overhead is huge and the process takes several days...well it crashes before that). What do I do?

  • How can I re-program/flash a backup of the bios?

    I have some computers that have a particular bios setting that keeps everything running smoothly. The setting is not the default setting for the motherboard. So, when the CMOS battery dies, the setting is erased and causes the user problems. How can I backup the bios and settings I have now, and flash that file onto my entire stock of computers? I have attempted to use awdflash to backup my bios and then attempt to write that backup to the ROM chip, but I keep getting an error. It tells me that my file number doesn't match the system, or something like that. Basically, the file is incompatible with the chip. But I just backed it up from that chip. If anyone can shed some light on this for me it would be helpful.

  • rsync --remove-source-files but only those that match a pattern

    Is this possible with rsync? Transfer everything from src:path/to/dir to dest:/path/to/other/dir and delete some of the source files in src:path/to/dir that match a pattern (or size limit) but keep all other files. I couldn't find a way to limit --remove-source-files with a regexp or size limit. Update1 (clarification): I'd like all files in src:path/to/dir to be copied to dest:/path/to/other/dir. Once this is done, I'd like to have some files (those that match a regexp or size limit) in src:path/to/dir deleted but don't want to have anything deleted in dest:/path/to/other/dir. Update2 (more clarification): Unfortunately, I can't simply rsync everything and then manually delete the files matching my regexp from src:. The files to be deleted are continuously created. So let's say there are N files of the type I'd like to delete after the transfer in src: when rsync starts. By the time rsync finishes there will be N+M such files there. If I now delete them manually, I'll lose the M files that were created while rsync was running. Hence I'd like to have a solution that guarantees that the only files deleted from src: are those known to be successfully copied over to dest:. I could fetch a file list from dest: after the rsync is complete, and compare that list of files with what I have in src:, and then do the removal manually. But I was wondering if rsync can do this by itself.

    I saw this post: "Typos… Just use option strict and explicit please.. during one software development project, which I was on as a consultant, they were getting ridiculous amounts of errors everywhere… turned out the developer couldn’t spell and would declare variables with incorrect spelling.. no big deal, until you use the correct spelling when you’re assigning a value to it… and you had option explicit off. Ouch to them…" what is an option strict and explicit anyway? I have googled it up but can't get the idea (because mostly it's Visual Basic, I'm doing PHP)

The condition would check if a publish is occurring and check if the build is a debug build, then do something like run an external tool or otherwise interrupt the build process or cause it to fail.   • Should I close sockets from both ends?

    I have the following problem. My client program monitor for availability of server in the local network (using Bonjour, but it does not rally mater). As soon as a server is "noticed" by the client application, the client tries to create a socket: Socket(serverIP,serverPort);. At some point the client can loose the server (Bonjour says that server is not visible in the network anymore). So, the client decide to close the socket, because it is not valid anymore. At some moment the server appears again. So, the client tries to create a new socket associated with this server. But! The server can refuse to create this socket since it (server) has already a socket associated with the client IP and client port. It happens because the socket was closed by the client, not by the server. Can it happen? And if it is the case, how this problem can be solved? Well, I understand that it is unlikely that the client will try to connect to the server from the same port (client port), since client selects its ports randomly. But it still can happen (just by chance). Right?

  • Flash: dynamically adding events code to instances possible?

    I want to make a movieclip invisible initially but i dont want to set it manually within the properties in flash because i cant then see it on the scene. I was hoping i could add some code like so: MC Frame one. this.onClipEvent(load) { this._alpha = 0; } but I cannot. How can i set the MC _alpha to 0 for all instances without adding it manually to each instance or setting it in the properties? edit: or creating a class for it just to set the alpha.
