    Given a reference app ( called guide), how can I create additional apps that will reuse the same model/admin/views than guide - the motivation behind is to be able to individually control each subapp. guide guideApp1 exact same models/admin/views than guide guideApp2 exact same models/admin/views than guide in the Admin site, I should have : 1 section for guideApp1 with all the tables defined in guide, that applies to guideApp1 1 section for guideApp12 with all the tables defined in guide, that applies to guideApp2

  • How can I remove the head of a main function?

    I am trying to move some code from a seperate binary and have it inside my main program. Unfortunately I can't mimic the initialization variables for the main function. How can I create argc and argv by hand? Can someone give me some example assignments. since it looks like this: int main(int argc, char *argv[]) I figured I could assign them like this: int argc=1; char *argv[0]="Example"; But it doesn't work. Can anyone tell me how this might be done?

  • Magento backend problem

    I've just installed Magento on my website, but I can't access the backend. The frontend works fine, but in the backend once I successfully login, it takes me to a blank screen. I've read there's an issue with cookies and I've tried a range of commenting out lines in varien.php, but didn't work.

  • refresh parent window after closing thickbox window

    I am using Thickbox 3.1 for a login form, using the iframe version. I want to close the iframe (child) window, then refresh the parent window. This closes the iframe window, but I need to somehow set it to refresh the parent window <a href="#" onclick="self.parent.tb_remove();">Close</a> Any help is appreciated.

    I would like to convert some value from a XML attribute into valid HTML with entities. So that for example the string "olá" from the XML would be transformed from the XSLT into "ol&#225;" I can't find any xsl function to do this. Any ideas ?

  • Unexpected JAXB error

    Hello, From the documentation it's clear I need to use the following to get a simple unmarshalling to occur from my XML file/schema: JAXBContext jc = JAXBContext.newInstance("PackageName"); where PackageName is my package name. I've looked on google for a bit to no avail, to find out why I'm then getting this runtime error: Line:Col[2:142]:cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'myconfig'. Line:Col[2:142]:unexpected element (uri:"http://www.w3.org", local:"myconfig"). Expected elements are <{}myconfig> Caught UnmarshalException This occurs at the top of all my class files, including the ones the XJC plugin for eclipse created for me (which I then moved out of PackageName.PackageName which it automatically created): package PackageName; so why is this error occurring?

    When one selects a Tag on stackoverflow, it is added to the end of the Url. Add a second Tag and it is add to the end of the Url after the first Tag, with a '+' delimiter. For example, http://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/ruby-on-rails+best-practices. How is this implemented? Is this a routing enhancement or some logic contained in the TagsController? Finally, how does one 'extract' these Tags for filtering (assuming that they are not in the params[] array)?

  • Is this a safe/valid hash method implementation?

    I have a set of classes to represent some objects loaded from a database. There are a couple variations of these objects, so I have a common base class and two subclasses to represent the differences. One of the key fields they have in common is an id field. Unfortunately, the id of an object is not unique across all variations, but within a single variation. What I mean is, a single object of type A could have an id between, say, 0 and 1,000,000. An object of type B could have an id between, 25,000 and 1,025,000. This means there's some overlap of id numbers. The objects are just variations of the same kind of thing, though, so I want to think of them as such in my code. (They were assigned ids from different sets for legacy reasons.) So I have classes like this: @class BaseClass @class TypeAClass : BaseClass @class TypeBClass : BaseClass BaseClass has a method (NSNumber *)objectId. However instances of TypeA and TypeB could have overlapping ids as discussed above, so when it comes to equality and putting these into sets, I cannot just use the id alone to check it. The unique key of these instances is, essentially, (class + objectId). So I figured that I could do this by making the following hash function on the BaseClass: -(NSUInteger)hash { return (NSUInteger)[self class] ^ [self.objectId hash]; } I also implemented isEqual like so: - (BOOL)isEqual:(id)object { return (self == object) || ([object class] == [self class] && [self.objectId isEqual:[object objectId]]); } This seems to be working, but I guess I'm just asking here to make sure I'm not overlooking something - especially with the generation of the hash by using the class pointer in that way. Is this safe or is there a better way to do this?

  • Why do I get "could not load type" error with my custom SessionStateProvider

    My associate has created a custom SessionStateProvider for me to use with my ASP.net application. I add the file CustomSessionStateProvider to my VS2008 Web Application Project and put the appropriate reference in the web.config and it works fine. However, my supervisor wants me to set this up as a GAC reference. At my office, we have many DLLs we've created that we use as GAC references across different projects. If I add my CustomSessionStateProvider to the Global Assembly Cache, my pages throw a could not load type CustomASP.CustomSessionStateProvider error. Simple removing the DLL from the GAC makes it work again, but I want to set this up as a GAC reference. What could be causing this problem?

  • Iframe no scrollbar?

    I cant seem to show the scrollbar in my iframe. I am making a script that will rotate a page 180 degrees and it uses iframes. The following are the restrictions: The classes SURFACE and CURVE are from 3rd party libraries and hence unmodifiable. (If it helps they are both derived from IDispatch) There are even more similar classes (e.g. FACE) that could fit into this "template" (not C++ template, just the flow of lines of code) I know the following could (possibly?) be implemented as solutions but am really hoping there is a better solution: I could add a 3rd parameter to the 2 methods - e.g. an enum - that identifies the 1st parameter (e.g. enum::input_type_surface, enum::input_type_curve) I could pass in an IDispatch and try dynamic_cast< and test which cast is NON_NULL and do an if-else to call the right method (e.g. getPlaneParams() vs. get_LineParams()) The following is not a restriction but would be a requirement because of my teammates resistance: Not implement a new class that inherits from SURFACE/CURVE etc. (They would much prefer to solve it using the enum solution I stated above)

  • TFS and team project portal question

    The team explorer for my project looks like this: mytfsserver\mycollection -- Project 1 solution -- Project 2 solution -- Project 3 solution When I right click on one of the solutions and do a "Show Project Portal", I see the following hierarchy: mycollection - WSS site Project 1 site with dashboard (appears to be a MOSS site) Project 2 site with dashboard (appears to be a MOSS site) Project 3 site with dashboard (appears to be a MOSS site) Are the dashboard sites MOSS sites? If I want to create a wiki, do I have to create a subsite with the wiki template under each of the Project sites? Can someone point me to a document/video that talks about the sites that area created by TFS by default?

  • jquery expanding menu+show/hide+multiple instances

    Hi, I have 2 scripts working ok separately but can't get them working together - What I'm after is expanding menus where if the items exceed 10 a 'more' link appears that expands the list, which can also then be hidden. http://www.brianfitzer.ie/test2/ expanding menu is file test12.html toggle+limit: toggle is file test13.html (I have these working separately) And then I need this to be able to be applied in multiple instances as I'll have multiple categories.     The standard getUrlContent works welll when there is no firewall. But I got exceptions when I try to do it behind a firewall. I've tried to set "http proxy server" in AVD manager, but it didn't work.   • Getting ANT to scp only new/changed files

    I would like to optimize my scp deployment which currently copies all files to only copy files that have changed since the last build. I believe it should be possible with the current setup somehow, but I don't know how to do this. I have the following: Project/src/blah/blah/ <---- files I am editing (mostly PHP in this case, some static assets) Project/build <------- I have a local build step that I use to copy the files to here I have an scp task right now that copies all of Project/build out to a remote server when I need it. Is it possible to somehow take advantage of this extra "build" directory to accomplish what I want -- meaning I only want to upload the "diff" between src/** and build/**. Is it possible to somehow retrieve this as a fileset in ANT and then scp that? I do realize that what it means is that if I somehow delete/mess around with files on the server in between, the ANT script would not notice, but for me this is okay.

  • C, reading multiple numbers from single input line (scanf?)

    Hi, I'm writing an app in pure C which expects two line at input: first one, which tells how big an array of int will be, and the second, which contains values, separated by space. So, for the following input 5 1 2 3 4 99 I need to create an array containing {1,2,3,4,99} Now, my question is - what is the fastest (yet easy ;)) way to do so? My problem is "how to read multiple numbers without looping through the whole string checking if it's space or a number" ? Thanks m.

  • How to test if raising an event results in a method being called conditional on value of parameters

    I'm trying to write a unit test that will raise an event on a mock object which my test class is bound to. What I'm keen to test though is that when my test class gets it's eventhandler called it should only call a method on certain values of the eventhandlers parameters.
