  • Does flex not support hashmaps?

    I have a Flex object which collects a DTO from the server. All the fields arrive filled in correctly except for the one that is a HashMap. It arrives as null. I've tried giving it a type of both ArrayCollection and Dictionary, but that hasn't fixed it. Does anyone know if there's an inherent incomaptability between Java HashMap and Flex? If not, what might I be doing wrong here? I'm looking at my jboss console and I see the data being populated correctly in the server side before delivery to the client. However, as it gets to the client, that field is null. I'm ready to kill myself.

It seems like it isnt returning the data. I looked in firebug and it completes and shows the response that shoudl be there. Any help is appreciated. I just need to set the data variable so that I can use it later on.

  • ASP.Net MVC per area membership

    I am building an ASP.Net MVC app that will run on a shared hosting account to host multiple domains. I started with the default template that includes membership and created an mvc area for each domain. Routing is set up to point to the correct area depending on the domain the request is for. Now I would like to set up membership specific to each mvc area. I tried the obvious first and attempted to override the section of the web.config for each area to change the applicationName attribute of the provider. That doesn't work since the area is not set up as an application root. Is there an easy way to separate the users for each area?

  • JQuery with SMARTY php

    This might seem a very noob question but I haven't found the answer yet. I have a header.tpl file which contains xhtml code. I want to and some java script to it using jquery. But my problem is that it simple doesn't happen what I tell it to do. Because the page hoster comiples php with SMARTY I had to make a small change to the block script, which was had the {literal} {/literal}. But the rest seems ok. Btw the jquery.js is on the same folder as the header.tpl. File header.tpl http://feupload.fe.up.pt/get/SQWJvybQkDCmjEG PS: I event replaced all the code by the getstarted tutorial on the jquery homepage and added the {literlar} {/literal} (otherwise it would give an error) and it steel didn't work

    I'm trying to use the Umbraco GetMedia function to write an image URL to the screen, I receive an error parsing the XSLT file. <xsl:for-each select="$currentPage/descendant::node [string(data [@alias='tickerItemActive']) = '1']"> <xsl:value-of select="data [@alias='tickerText']"/><br /> <xsl:value-of select="umbraco.library:GetMedia(data [@alias='tickerImage'], 0)/data [@alias = 'umbracoFile']"/> </xsl:for-each> The tickerImage field contains the MediaID for which I'd like to display the URL. I can return the field outside the GetMedia function and it works fine. I can also replace the data [@alias='tickerImage] with '1117' (or any valid media ID) the XSLT passes verification and the script runs. THIS WORKS: <xsl:value-of select="umbraco.library:GetMedia('1117', 0)/data [@alias = 'umbracoFile']"/> THIS DOES NOT: <xsl:value-of select="umbraco.library:GetMedia(data [@alias='tickerImage'], 0)/data [@alias = 'umbracoFile']"/> Any help that can be offered would is appreciated.     I'm trying to combine data from two tables in MySQL with PHP. I want to select all the data (id, title, post_by, content and created_at) from the "posts" table. Then I would like to select the comment_id COUNT from the "comments" table IF the comment_id equals the posts id. Finally, I would like to echo/print something on this order: <? echo $row->title; ?> Posted by <? echo $row->post_by; ?> on <? echo $row->created_at; ?> CST <? echo $row->content; ?> <? echo $row->comment_id; ?> comments | <a href="comment.php?id=<? echo $row->id; ?>">view/post comments</a> I'm uncertain as to how to "combine" the data from two tables. I have tried numerous things and have spent several evenings and have had no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • problem with drupal view and php code

    Hello, I have a view set up in drupal and I am using some jquery code within the view which hides some data based upon a text box value. Everything is working fine for me when I am logged in. When I log out and access the block anonymously, it doesn't work correctly. I am somewhat new to drupal, and don't know where to begin troubleshooting. I assume it is a permissions issue, but on the view, on the content type, where? If anyone could give me some direction on where to start looking, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

    I am working on x86_64 machine. My linux kernel is also 64 bit kernel. As there are different ways to implement a system call (int 80, syscall, sysenter), i wanted to know what type of system call my machine is using. I am newbie to linux. I have written a demo program. include int main() { getpid(); return 0; } getpid() does one system call. Can anybody give me a method to find which type of system call will be used by my machine for this program.. Thank you....

  • Form not updating usercontrol

    From the post "Growing user control not updating"... Using C#, .Net 2.0 in a Windows environment. UserControl1 - draws cells to a bitmap buffer dependent upon NumberOfCells property UserControl2 - panel contains UserControl1 which displays vertical scroll when necessary; also contains NumberOfCells which sets UserControl1's NumberOfCells. Formf1 - contains NumericUpDown controls (just increments) which updates the UserControl2 - suppose to! When I increment the control on the form by say 20, UserControl1 adds the necessary cells, UserControl2 displays the vertical scroll bar accordingly, BUT the form does not 'redraw' to the updated/correct image!! Meaning, after I increment by 20, cells are added, vertical scrool bar added... but the image shown is just everything else expanding. I reset the control to scoll to the very TOP and the scrolling works, but the image is still staic... UNTIL I resize my form, more specifically, when I change it from maximize to window or vice versa!!! What can I do to 'reset/redraw' the correct image???? Thank you in advance. Lawrence

  • Troubleshooting PXE-E11: ARP Timeout error under VMware ESXi 4 and HPSA 7.8

    I am running HP Server Automation v7.8 in a lab environment on VMware ESXi, managed via vSphere 4. On the same host I have several small VMs for OS provisioning testing (512MB RAM, 10GB hdd, one NIC on the same vSwitch that HPSA is running on). DHCP is configured to hand-out addresses in the 192.168.10.151-200 range. On boot of the VM, it receives an IP (eg 192.168.10.198) within seconds. However, after it receives its IP, a PXE-E11: ARP Timeout error occurs in trying to boot from the DHCP server. I do not know if this is a HPSA-specific error, as I have seen reports of the PXE-E11 error on various forums. Proposed solutions I have seen so far (changing VLAN settings, for example) have not been applicable to my environment. Are there any pointers/troubleshooting steps that can be taken to resolve this?

  • DisplayPort -> DVI Adapter, Active or Passive?

    I read somewhere that you only need an active adapter (usb powered) if you want resolutions greater than 1920x1200. I also heard from someone that you need it when running triple-monitor because more than two displays drains too much power. So to connect a 3rd monitor @ 1920x1200 to my video card's DisplayPort Port, do I need to spend the extra $100 and buy the active adapter?

  • How can one tell that FLAC or WAVPACK audio file is NOT originally encoded from a Lossy source?

    Hi everyone, Forgive me for my ignorance,firstly. Problem: Say I have a lossy mp3 audio file(5.17Mb ie. 87% compressed from its original souce-unknown), I then encode it to another LOSSLESS format, say FLAC or WAVPACK. The size increases(23.14Mb ie. 39% compressed from its original souce-mp3)! ID tags, etc remain the same and there's no way of checking the integrity of its origin. Question: Is there a way of checking that the so-called FLAC or WAVPACK audio file was originally encoded from a LOSSLESS source(wav,cda,ape,...etc) instead of a LOSSY source(mp3,aac,ATRAC,..etc) Thank you.
