  I bash, how do I convert dos/windows newlines to unix? It must be non-interactive, not like starting vi and typing something in, but a command on the command line that can be put in a script file. The dos2unix and unix2dos commands are not available on the system. How do I do this with commands like sed/awk/tr?

IIS is running as a service, not as a Terminal Services application...   I'm trying to implement Florian's object permissions system from his article on Django Advent, but I'm running into an issue trying to limit the queryset returned to only items the user has permission to edit/view. Florian mentions it in his section on wrapping the admin, but skips over it. I can't see a good way to filter the queryset. Am I missing something?

  We have our own fonts for our application. We are using Windows Vista operating system to develop the Reports using iReport. We are using iReports 3.7.1. I kept all my fonts in a folder in C:\ drive. I gave fonts path in iReport. Still I am getting 'Could not load the font' error while generating the report. The same worked fine on Windows 2000 and with iReport 2.x versions.

  Hi all, I've got a core data-based app for iPhone and I'm getting the following warning: objc[2472]: Class Property is implemented in both /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Notes.framework/Notes and /var/mobile/Applications/B69194FF-448F-48AD-A78D-DDB8935F/AmcCalc.app/AmcCalc. • Maven:install jar file during build process

  I have got a requirement as follows. I need to run ant build file during maven build process. I need to invoke the build.xml from my pom.xml file. I have done that using maven-antrun-plugin. Now I need to install the ant build generated jar file automatically into my local repository before maven compiles my project source. I tried using build-helper-maven-plugin but it did not help.   I have my ASP.NET web.config set with impersonation <identity impersonate="true" userName="domainName\userName" password="userPassword" /> I'm running some a method like IO.Directory.GetFiles(somePath) And monitoring the file system access with Process Monitor I keep getting all the access requests from the aspnet_wp.exe process to the folder, as the ASPNET user. Why am I not seeing the access as the impersonated user?
