    - by christian
    I am using a div with 2 elements inside and I want to position my 1st element to be vertically aligned top and 2nd element to the bottom of the div. • How can I create a custom UIToolbar like component in a UITableViewController?

    - by Tony
    I have a UITableViewController. I want a "toolbar-ish" component at the bottom. I started by using a background image and a button. In interface builder, I added them to the bottom of the iPhone screen. The problem I ran into was that the background image and button scrolled with the table. I obviously need this fixed at the bottom. Not finding too much direction online, I decided to customize a UIToolbar to look how I want since the position is fixed by default. In my initWithNibName for my UITableViewController, I have: UIImage *shuffleButtonImage = [UIImage imageNamed:@"shuffle_button.png"]; NSArray* toolbarItems = [NSArray arrayWithObjects: [[UIBarButtonItem alloc] initWithImage:shuffleButtonImage style:UIBarButtonItemStylePlain target:self action:@selector(push:)], nil]; [toolbarItems makeObjectsPerformSelector:@selector(release)]; self.toolbarItems = toolbarItems; The problem I am running into now is that the "shuffleButtonImage" is not showing up properly. The shape of the button shows up fine but it is colored white and therefore does not look like the image. Does anyone know why a "white image" would be showing instead of the actual image? Also does it sound like a good idea to customize a UIToolbar or is there a simple way to ensure a fixed position "toolbar-ish" component. To reiterate - my "toolbar-ish" component only needs to be one button at the button of my UITableView. The single button has a gradient color background that I create with an image.

  • wpf cancel backgroundworker on application exits

    - by toni
    Hi! In my application I have a main windows and into it, in a frame I load a page. This page do a long time task when the user press a button. My problem is that when long task is being doing and the user presses the close button of the main window, the application seems to not finish because I am debugging it in VS2008 and I can see the stop button highlighted. If I want to finish I have to press stop button, the application doesn't stop the debugging automatically on application exit. I thought .NET stops automatically backgroundworkers on application exits but I am not sure after seeing this behaviour. I have tried to force and cancel background worker in unloaded event page with something like this: private void Page_Unloaded(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) { // Is the Background Worker do some work? if (My_BgWorker != null && My_BgWorker.IsBusy) { //If it supports cancellation, Cancel It if (My_BgWorker.WorkerSupportsCancellation) { // Tell the Background Worker to stop working. My_BgWorker.CancelAsync(); } } } but with no success. After doing CancelAsync(), a few minutes after, I can see the backgroundworker finishes and raise RunWorkerCompleted and I can see the task is completed checking e.Cancelled argument in the event but after this event is exectued the application continues without exiting and I have no idea what is doing.... I set WorkerSupportsCancellation to true to support cancel at the begining. I would apreciate all answers. Thanks.

  • Styling columns based on DataGridTemplateColumn in a WPF DataGrid

    - by nareshbhatia
    I am using a WPF DataGrid where one of the columns has a requirement to show an "Edit" hyperlink if the row is editable - this is indicated by a boolean flag in the backing model for the row. I was able to achieve this using a DataGridTemplateColumn - no problems. However an additional requirement on the entire row is not to show any highlights when the row is selected (this is a blue background by default). I have been able to achieve this on other columns by defining the DataGridCell style with a transparent background, e.g. <DataGridTextColumn Header="Id" Binding="{Binding Path=Id}" HeaderStyle="{StaticResource DataGridColumnHeaderStyle}" CellStyle="{StaticResource DataGridCellStyle}" /> where DataGridCellStyle is defined as follows: <Style x:Key="DataGridCellStyle" TargetType="{x:Type DataGridCell}"> <Setter Property="Background" Value="Transparent" /> ... </Style> However the column in question, a DataGridTemplateColumn, does not offer a "CellStyle" attribute which I can use for turning off selection highlights. So my question is how to set the cell style when using a DataGridTemplateColumn? Here's my implementation of the column which satisfies the first requirement (i.e. showing an "Edit" hyperlink if the row is editable): <DataGridTemplateColumn Header="Actions" HeaderStyle="{StaticResource CenterAlignedColumnHeaderStyle}"> <DataGridTemplateColumn.CellTemplate> <DataTemplate> <TextBlock Visibility="{Binding Path=Editable, Converter={StaticResource convVisibility}}" Style="{StaticResource CenterAlignedElementStyle}"> <Hyperlink Command="..." CommandParameter="{Binding}"> <TextBlock Text="Edit" /> </Hyperlink> </TextBlock> </DataTemplate> </DataGridTemplateColumn.CellTemplate> </DataGridTemplateColumn> Thanks.

  • How do I bind list items to an Accordian control from the Silverlight 3 Toolkit?

    - by Blanthor
    I have a list of objects in a model public class AccordianModel { public List<AccordianItem> Items { get; set; } public AccordianModel() { Items = new List<AccordianItem> { new AccordianItem() {Title = "Monkey", ImageUri = "Images/monkey.jpg"}, new AccordianItem() {Title = "Cow", ImageUri = "Images/cow.jpg"}, }; } } I want to show the image in the background image of AccordianItems If I hard code it, it looks like this... <layoutToolkit:AccordionItem x:Name="Item2" Header="Item 2" Margin="0,0,10,0" AccordionButtonStyle="{StaticResource AccordionButtonStyle1}" ExpandableContentControlStyle="{StaticResource ExpandableContentControlStyle1}" HeaderTemplate="{StaticResource DataTemplate1}" BorderBrush="{x:Null}" ContentTemplate="{StaticResource CarouselContentTemplate}"> <layoutToolkit:AccordionItem.Background> <ImageBrush ImageSource="Images/cow.jpg" Stretch="None"/> </layoutToolkit:AccordionItem.Background> </layoutToolkit:AccordionItem> When I try it with a binding like <ImageBrush ImageSource="{Binding Path={StaticResource MyContentTemplate.ImageUri}}" Stretch="None"/> or if I try it with <ImageBrush ImageSource="{Binding Path=Items[0].ImageUri}" Stretch="None"/> , it throws XamlParseException. I haven't seen enough Silverlight yet and I cannot find a close enough example that it makes sense to me.

  • Facebook Style YUI Tabs

  • saving WPF InkCanvas to a JPG - image is getting cropped

    - by Jason
    I have a WPF InkCanvas control I'm using to capture a signature in my application. The control looks like this - it's 700x300 However, when I save it as a JPG, the resulting image looks like this, also 700x300 The code I'm using to save sigPath = System.IO.Path.GetTempFileName(); MemoryStream ms = new MemoryStream(); FileStream fs = new FileStream(sigPath, FileMode.Create); RenderTargetBitmap rtb = new RenderTargetBitmap((int)inkSig.Width, (int)inkSig.Height, 96d, 96d, PixelFormats.Default); rtb.Render(inkSig); JpegBitmapEncoder encoder = new JpegBitmapEncoder(); encoder.Frames.Add(BitmapFrame.Create(rtb)); encoder.Save(fs); fs.Close(); This is the XAML I'm using: <Window x:Class="Consent.Client.SigPanel" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" Background="Transparent" Topmost="True" AllowsTransparency="True" Title="SigPanel" Left="0" Top="0" Height="1024" Width="768" WindowStyle ="None" ShowInTaskbar="False" ResizeMode="NoResize" WindowStartupLocation="CenterScreen" > <Border BorderThickness="1" BorderBrush="Black" Background='#FFFFFFFF' x:Name='DocumentRoot' Width='750' Height='400' CornerRadius='10'> <StackPanel HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center"> <TextBlock Name="txtLabel" FontSize="24" HorizontalAlignment="Center" >Label</TextBlock> <InkCanvas Opacity="1" Background="Beige" Name="inkSig" Width="700" Height="300" /> <StackPanel HorizontalAlignment="Center" Orientation="Horizontal"> <Button FontSize="24" Margin="10" Width="150" Name="btnSave" Click="btnSave_Click">Save</Button> <Button FontSize="24" Margin="10" Width="150" Name="btnCancel" Click="btnCancel_Click">Cancel</Button> <Button FontSize="24" Margin="10" Width="150" Name="btnClear" Click="btnClear_Click">Clear</Button> </StackPanel> </StackPanel> </Border> In the past this worked perfectly. I can't figure out what changed that is causing the image to shift when it is saved.

  • Javascript menu that hovers over initial element

    - by TenJack
    I'm trying to build a javascript menu using prototype that when you mouseover an element, that element is hidden and a bigger element is shown in its place that closes onmouseout. This is what I have so far to give you an idea, but it doesn't work and is buggy. I'm not sure what the best general approach is: EDIT: using the prototype refactor from remi bourgarel: function socialMenuInit(){ var social_menu = $('sociable_menu'); social_menu.hide(); var share_words = $('share_words'); Event.observe(share_words,"mouseover",function(){ share_words.hide(); social_menu.show(); }); Event.observe(social_menu,"mouseout",function(){ social_menu.hide(); share_words.show(); }); } EDIT: The main problem now is that the second bigger menu(social_menu) that is shown on top of the smaller mouseover triggering element(share_words) only closes when you mouseout the smaller trigger element even though this element is hidden. EDIT: This is the html and css I am using: <div id="share_words">share</div> <div id="sociable_menu"></div> #share_words{ display: none; border: 1px solid white; position: absolute; right: 320px; top:0px; padding: 4px; background-image: url('/images/icons/group.png'); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position:7px 6px; text-indent:26px; color: white; z-index: 15; } #sociable_menu{ border: 1px solid black; padding: 5px; position: absolute; right: 275px; top: -10px; z-index: 20; } Thanks for any help.

  • sIfr (3.436) and IE8 - My h1 and h2 are flickering

    - by André
    I am using sIfr (3.436) for my H1 and H2 tags. In IE8 the text flickers and jumps around alot. See example: http://www.addenergy.no/drilling-production/category352.html I have tried various font-tuning as explained at Wiki.Novemberborn, but can't get a good result. Any help to lead in the right direction is appreciated! The sifr-config.js looks like this (h1/h2 is basically the same): sIFR.fitExactly = true; sIFR.fixWrap = true; sIFR.forceWidth = true; sIFR.replace(fedraSerif, { selector: '#placeholder-top h1', css: '.sIFR-root { background-color: #FFFFFF; color: #000000; }', ratios: [8, (...), 1.26] }); And sifr.css (bottom): @media screen { .sIFR-active #placeholder-top h1 { visibility: hidden; font-family: Verdana; font-size:2.5em; line-height:40px; } .sIFR-active #placeholder-top h2 { visibility: hidden; font-family: Verdana; font-size:2em; line-height:30px; } } My style.css (general for the site has): html, body { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Sans-serif; margin: 0; padding: 0; color: #333; background: #cccccc url('images/background.gif') repeat-y top center; } h1 { font-size: 35px; line-height: 40px; } #placeholder-top h1 { margin: 20px 120px 10px 5px; font-size:2.5em; display:block; line-height: 40px; } h2 { line-height: 30px; color: #009bdb; } #placeholder-top h2 { margin: 0px 120px 20px 5px; font-size:2em; display:block; line-height: 30px; }

  • How to set an EditText on top of a ListView ?

    - by Spredzy
    Hi everyone, I am trying to do an autocomplete version my way (logic, layout, etc...) , so I don't want to use the AutoCompleteTextView. My question is how to set an EditText on top of a ListView in a class inheriting from a ListAcvitivy. I tried two kinds of layout, none of them worked. First one : <EditText android:id="@+id/autocomplete_server" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:layout_marginLeft="5dp" android:completionThreshold="1" android:singleLine="true"/> <ListView android:id="@id/android:list" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:background="#000000" android:layout_weight="1" android:drawSelectorOnTop="false"/> <TextView android:id="@id/android:empty" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:background="#FF0000" android:text="No data"/> This one only shows me the EditText but does not display the list Second one : <LinearLayout android:id="@id/android:list" android:orientation="horizontal" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:padding="5dp"> <EditText android:id="@+id/autocomplete_server" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:layout_marginLeft="5dp" android:completionThreshold="1" android:singleLine="true"/> <ListView android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:background="#000000" android:layout_weight="1" android:drawSelectorOnTop="false"/> </LinearLayout> This sample gives me a : java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to start activity ComponentInfo{com.eip.core/com.eip.core.Search}: java.lang.ClassCastException: android.widget.LinearLayout Does anyone have any idea bout how to implement an EditText on top of a listView ?

  • Binding WPF menu items to WPF Tab Control Items collection

    - by William
    I have a WPF Menu and a Tab control. I would like the list of menu items to be generated from the collection of TabItems on my tab control. I am binding my tab control to a collection to generate the TabItems. I have a TabItem style that uses a ContentPresenter to display the TabItem text in a TextBlock. When I bind the tab items to my menu the menu items are blank. I assume the menu items are looking for the Header property of the TabItems which I am not using. Is there a workaround for my scenario? Is it possible to bind to the Header property of the tab item, when I do not know the number of tabs in advance? Below is a copy of my xaml declarations. Tab Control and items: <DataTemplate x:Key="ClosableTabItemTemplate"> <DockPanel HorizontalAlignment="Stretch"> <Button Command="{Binding Path=CloseWorkSpaceCommand}" Content="X" Cursor="Hand" DockPanel.Dock="Right" Focusable="False" FontFamily="Courier" FontSize="9" FontWeight="Bold" Margin="10,1,0,0" Padding="0" VerticalContentAlignment="Bottom" Width="16" Height="16" Background="Red" /> <ContentPresenter HorizontalAlignment="Center" Content="{Binding Path=DisplayName}"> <ContentPresenter.Resources> <Style TargetType="{x:Type TextBlock}"/> </ContentPresenter.Resources> </ContentPresenter> </DockPanel> </DataTemplate> <DataTemplate x:Key="WorkspacesTemplate"> <TabControl IsSynchronizedWithCurrentItem="True" ItemsSource="{Binding}" ItemTemplate="{StaticResource ClosableTabItemTemplate}" Margin="10" Background="#4C4C4C"/> </DataTemplate> My Menu <Menu Background="Transparent"> <MenuItem Style="{StaticResource TabMenuButtonStyle}" ItemsSource="{Binding RelativeSource={RelativeSource FindAncestor, AncestorType={x:Type TabControl}}, Path=Items}" ItemContainerStyle="{StaticResource TabMenuItem}"> </MenuItem> </Menu>

  • DirectX Desktop

    - by Jonathan
    Hi. I'd like to make an animated desktop background for Windows 7 using DirectX. I'm using C#, SlimDX and a couple of P/Invoke imports of Windows API functions. I'm not brilliant with native Windows programming, but I've had a poke around online and I believe what I need to do is either: 1) Find the handle of the window containing the dekstop wallpaper, hook it up to a DirectX device and draw into it. 2) Make a new output window, and insert it above the desktop wallpaper but below the desktop icons. I've tried both these, but neither seems to work. If I navigate the Window heirarchy starting from the handle returned by GetDesktopWindow(), I can go Desktop - WorkerW - SHELLDLL_DefView - SysListView32. If I hook up a DirectX device to this handle, I can draw over the entire desktop, but it also covers the icons. If I create a Windows form, set its parent to SHELLDLL_DefView using SetParent() and then use SetWindowPos to play with its Z-order I can only seem to get it to go either behind the desktop wallpaper or in front of the desktop + icons. It looks as though the desktop wallpaper is background to the folder view containing the icons, and therefore what I am trying to do cannot work. The only solution then would be to not use the desktop for icons, or to find some alternative, e.g. overwriting the desktop then overlaying a transparent window containing a view of the contents of some folder. Does anyone have any idea of what I should be doing, or even whether what I want to do is possible? It seems you can draw to the desktop background using the GDI (as I believe the wxSnow program does), and I've seen something similar to what I want done by VLC Media Player under Windows XP with its DirectX wallpaper mode (interestingly, I can't seem to get this option enabled on my system). Thanks!

  • Using multiple QStyledItemDelegate with stylesheets

    - by Shane Holloway
    I'm creating a styled QTreeView using double-dispatch to resolve specific delegate for data items, which is working great. I subclassed the delegates from QStyledItemDelegate to take advantage of stylesheets, enabling the designers to style the UI outside of the code. Unfortunately, I have been unable to address different styles from the CSS. How do I select and use the item sub-control style specified in the stylesheet? The CSS I'm testing with: QTreeView::item:selected { background: qlineargradient(x1: 0, y1: 0, x2: 0, y2: 1, stop: 0 #dddddd, stop: 1 #888888); } QTreeView::item:selected[role="title"] { background: qlineargradient(x1: 0, y1: 0, x2: 0, y2: 1, stop: 0 #fde7ef, stop: 1 #f1cbda); } QTreeView::item:selected[role="entry"] { background: qlineargradient(x1: 0, y1: 0, x2: 0, y2: 1, stop: 0 #e7effd, stop: 1 #cbdaf1); } My delegate rendering classes: class VisitingDelegate(QtGui.QAbstractItemDelegate): def __init__(self, parent=None): super(VisitingDelegate,self).__init__(parent) roles = {} self.renderRoles = roles d = TitleDelegate(parent) d.setProperty("role", "title") roles['title'] = d d = EntryDelegate(parent) d.setProperty("role", "entry") roles['entry'] = d def delegateForIndex(self, mi): role = mi.model().data(mi, "renderRole") return self.renderRoles[role] def paint(self, painter, option, mi): dg = self.delegateForIndex(mi) return dg.paint(painter, option, mi) def sizeHint(self, option, mi): dg = self.delegateForIndex(mi) return dg.sizeHint(option, mi) class TextDocumentDelegate(QtGui.QStyledItemDelegate): fmt = "<font color='%(color)s'>%(text)s</font)>" def paint(self, painter, option, mi): painter.save() opt = QtGui.QStyleOptionViewItemV4(option) self.initStyleOption(opt, mi) opt.text = '' style = opt.widget.style() style.drawControl(style.CE_ItemViewItem, opt, painter, opt.widget) textRect = style.subElementRect(style.SE_ItemViewItemText, opt, opt.widget); doc = self.asTextDoc(option, mi) painter.translate(textRect.topLeft()) doc.drawContents(painter) painter.restore() def sizeHint(self, option, mi): doc = self.asTextDoc(option, mi) sz = doc.size() sz = QtCore.QSize(sz.width(), sz.height()) return sz def asTextDoc(self, option, mi): info = {} info['text'] = mi.model().data(mi, Qt.DisplayRole) doc = QtGui.QTextDocument() doc.setDefaultFont(option.font) pal = option.palette if option.state & QtGui.QStyle.State_Selected: color = pal.color(pal.HighlightedText) else: color = pal.color(pal.Text) info['color'] = color.name() doc.setHtml(self.fmt % info) return doc class EntryDelegate(TextDocumentDelegate): pass class TitleDelegate(TextDocumentDelegate): fmt = "<h3><font color='%(color)s'>%(text)s</font)></h3>"

  • Firefox Sprite Sheet Image Not Showing Up

    - by ttony21
    I'm trying to create a chat room with emoticons. When a user types an emoticon such as :) in the chatroom, the CSS takes the proper image off the sprite sheet. But my code only seems to work in Opera and IE (odd combination). It doesn't show in Firefox or Chrome (if you manage to hone in exactly where the image should be, you can find the image blank.gif which is used as the stand-in to place the background-url over). • jquery slideToggle() and unknown height?

    - by GaVrA
    Hello! Im using jquery 1.3.2 and this is the code: <script type="text/javascript"> //<![CDATA[ jQuery(function(){ jQuery('.news_bullet a.show_preview').click(function() { jQuery(this).siblings('div').slideToggle('slow'); return false; }).toggle( function() { jQuery(this).css({ 'background-position' : '0 -18px' }); }, function() { jQuery(this).css({ 'background-position' : '0 0' }); }); }); //]]> </script> If you see here i have bunch of small green + which when you click some text is revealed and background-position is changed for that link so then it shows the other part of image, red -. So the problem i am having is that i dont know the height for those hidden elements, because it depends on how much text there is, so when i click on + and show them, animation is 'jumping'. One workaround that i found is to put fixed height and overflow:hidden to those hidden elements. You can see how much smoother animation is running in top left block(the one with 'Vesti iz sveta crtanog filma' at the top). All other blocks dont have fixed height, and animation there is 'jumping'. Atm that fixed height in top left block is 30px, but ofc some elements require more height and some require less, so that is not a good solution... :) So how to stop this animation from 'jumping' when there is no fixed height?

  • Is it possible to have a SeekBar's thumb image extend outside the bar?

    - by Poko
    I have set negative paddings on my custom seekbar so that the round thumb image can go outside the bar, but the thumb isn't rendered out there, is there anyway to force the thumb to be drawn outside those bounds? Sorry guys, I'm new to Android development, and have been tasked with fixing an existing application. The problem is that we have a custom rounded looking track bar, which consists of two rounded 'end cap' images and a 1 px background that is tiled to create the seekbar. As far as I can tell there was never one image that could be set as the background of a normal SeekBar, which is why a custom one was created. The thumb is a circle and needs to 'fit' into the end caps - the three pieces of the bar are in a relative layout. Right now I'm kind of unclear as to how the 1 px background png gets stretched as the seekbar bg, otherwise I would try to tack on the two endcaps onto that drawable some how ... ? Please let me know if this was unclear and I'll try to post any followup info. Thanks in advance for any advice!! Oh, I'm using Android 2.1 if that's relevant to anyone's interests :)

  • WPF Browser is there, but invisible.

    - by Adam Crossland
    I am attempting to use the Browser control in a very simple WPF application, and it appears that while the browser is loading the page that I requested (I can mouseover images and see the ALT tags), I can't actually see anything else: Here is the XAML for the app: <Window x:Class="SmokeyBox2.MainWindow" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" Title="SmokeyBox" Height="120" Width="510" ShowInTaskbar="False" SizeToContent="WidthAndHeight" WindowStyle="None" AllowsTransparency="True" MouseLeftButtonDown="Window_MouseLeftButtonDown"> <Border Background="#50FFFFFF" CornerRadius="5" BorderThickness="2,0,2,2" Padding="5 1 5 5"> <Grid> <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="Auto"></RowDefinition> <RowDefinition Height="Auto"></RowDefinition> <RowDefinition Height="Auto"></RowDefinition> </Grid.RowDefinitions> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="Auto"></ColumnDefinition> <ColumnDefinition Width="Auto"></ColumnDefinition> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <Label Grid.Row="0" Grid.Column="0" Background="Transparent" Content="SmokeyBox" MouseLeftButtonDown="Label_MouseLeftButtonDown" /> <TextBox Grid.Row="1" Grid.Column="0" Name="searchText" Width="450" FontFamily="Arial" Foreground="DarkGray" Background="Transparent" FontSize="20" MouseLeftButtonDown="searchText_MouseLeftButtonDown" BorderBrush="Transparent" /> <Expander Grid.Row="1" Grid.Column="1" Padding="2 3 0 0 " Expanded="Expander_Expanded" Collapsed="Expander_Collapsed" /> <WebBrowser Grid.Row="2" Grid.Column="0" x:Name="browser" Visibility="Visible" Width="480" Height="480" Margin="2 2 2 2" ></WebBrowser> </Grid> </Border> </Window> So can anyone help me figure out why the browser isn't showing the Yahoo! home page like I asked it to? And while I am at it, I'm going to own up to the fact that this is my first WPF app, and I'd love to hear any general pointers on how to get rid of general noobie badness in my XAML. Thanks.

  • css hover vs. javascript mouseover

    - by John
    There are times when I have a choice between using a css element:hover or javascript onmouseover to control the appearance of html elements on a page. Consider the following scenario where a DIV wraps an INPUT <div> <input id="input"> </div> I want the input to change background color when the mouse cursor hovers over the div. The CSS approach is <style> input {background-color:White;} div:hover input {background-color:Blue;} </style> <div><input></div> The javascript approach is <div onmouseover="document.getElementById('input').style.backgroundColor='Blue';"> <input id="input"> </div> What are the advantages and disadvantages of each approach? Does the CSS approach work well with most web browsers? Is javascript slower than css?

  • How can I generate HTML tables in Perl?

    - by anon
    I need to create a 2 tables in HTML format. Each has 5 rows: 1st Table 1st row has FRUITS in it, occupying all columns 2nd row has January(month), occupying all columns 3rd row has names of some 6 fruits (apple, orange, grapes,...)These names do not change. so this row has 6 columns 4th row has rates for each fruit ( 10,20,30..) so this has 6 columns. 5th row has corresponding message for each fruit showing as Available or not. 2nd Table If it is available the background color for the cell should be green and if not RED. 1st row has VEGETABLES in it, occupying all columns 2nd row has February(month), occupying all columns 3rd row has names of some 6 vegetables (tomato, potato..)These names do not change. so this row has 6 columns 4th row has rates for each vegetable ( 10,20,30..) so this has 6 columns. 5th row has corresponding message for each vegetable showing as Available or not.If it is available the background color for the cell should be green and if not RED. All this data is read from a file having a particular format, it is <name of fruit/vegetable price <available or not The names of fruits and vegetable do not change , it will be same for both the tables. However, it might be possible that data for a particular fruit/vegetable is not present. if it is not present the the column for that should show N/A with white background. I cannot use MIME:Lite for this. Need to use print <<ENDHTML;
