  • Data mining google's web search results?

    Currently, i have a google web search. If a user searches starbucks, I would only want to retrieve the company or product information, not some other weird links like blog pages, using javascript, is it possible to do so? if yes, how am i able to do it? I would like to know how I can calculate and update the duration property whenever the value for startDate and endDate changes?   • How to find thousands of company names?

    How can I find or generate thousands of company names for testing and demo purposes? (Address, phone number, and related information would be nice too.) I've got a system I'm building which includes business contact information. Pretty common no doubt. My test/demo database currently has randomly generated individual's names loaded (thanks to a handy IRS spreadsheet I found). This has worked great for internal testing and review purposes, but it looks really odd when shown to prospective customers. I've tried various online public information sources (e.g. EDGAR, and county based property records searches), but these all require me to manually stitch together the results in blocks of 50 names or so at a time. I could do this, but was really hoping for a search service or data store out there that had this type of information readily searchable and retrievable in very large batches.

I can pass my NSMutableArray easily using : DetailViewController *detailNote = [self.storyboard instantiateViewControllerWithIdentifier:@"detailNote"]; detailNote.ArrayItem = [allAnotacionsEntries objectAtIndex:indexPath.row]; [self.navigationController pushViewController:detailNote animated:YES]; but I want to pass additional NSMutableArray to the view and i don´t know how to do it.     Hi, I feel this is something to do with my httpd setup for apache. I'm using mod_rewrite if that helps but I think that only effects the url. It seems when I output some data such as: $sMessage = 'Error'; echo $sMessage; It works fine but when I do this: $sMessage = 'Error'; echo ''+$sMessage+''; It returns 0. Very odd!

    I have a DB schema composed of MYISAM tables, i am interested to delete old records from time to time from some of the tables. I know that delete does not reclaim the memory space, but as i found in a description of DELETE command, inserts may reuse the space deleted In MyISAM tables, deleted rows are maintained in a linked list and subsequent INSERT operations reuse old row positions. I am interested if LOAD DATA command also reuses the deleted space? UPDATE I am also interested how the index space reclaimed?

    I execute a core data fetch which specifies a predicate as follows: NSPredicate *predicate = [NSPredicate predicateWithFormat:@"identifier IN %@", favoritesIDs]; When there are duplicate items in the favoriteIDs array, the fetch request only returns 1 managed object. How can I ensure that more than one instance is fetched? Thank you.
