Hi all, I am trying to set up a basic file upload to blobstore, but I get this OutOfMemoryError: WARNING: Error for /_ah/upload/ aghvbWdkcmVzc3IcCxIVX19CbG9iVXBsb2FkU2Vzc2lvbl9fGMACDA java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space at java.util.Arrays.copyOf(Arrays.java:2786) at java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream.write(ByteArrayOutputStream.java:71) at javax.mail.internet.MimeMultipart.readTillFirstBoundary(MimeMultipart.java: 316) at javax.mail.internet.MimeMultipart.parse(MimeMultipart.java:186) at javax.mail.internet.MimeMultipart.getCount(MimeMultipart.java:109) at com.google.appengine.api.blobstore.dev.UploadBlobServlet.handleUpload(UploadBlobServlet.java: 135) at com.google.appengine.api.blobstore.dev.UploadBlobServlet.access $000(UploadBlobServlet.java:72) at com.google.appengine.api.blobstore.dev.UploadBlobServlet $1.run(UploadBlobServlet.java:100) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at com.google.appengine.api.blobstore.dev.UploadBlobServlet.doPost(UploadBlobServlet.java: 98) at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:713) at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:806) at org.mortbay.jetty.servlet.ServletHolder.handle(ServletHolder.java: 511); I used the Memory Analyzer on Eclipse and it said that the memory leak suspect is QueuedThreadPool. • openquery issue in SQL Server

    - by George2
Hello everyone, I am using SQL Server 2008 (let us call this source database server in this question discussion), and in SSMS, I have created a linked server to another SQL Server 2008 database (let us call this destination database server in this question discussion). When I issue statement -- select * from [linked server name].[database name].[dbo].[table name], error will be returned, Linked server "ZS" The OLE DB access interface "SQLNCLI10" returned "NON-CLUSTERED and NOT INTEGRATED "Index" ix_foo_basic_info_nf ", which is incorrect bookmark ordinal 0. When I issue statement -- select * from openquery([linked server name],'select * from [table name]'), there will be no errors, any ideas what is wrong? thanks in advance, George

  • ESX3.5 Cluster & MD3000i -- Both servers see iSCSI Targets, Only one server can use partition.

    - by GruffTech
Alright. First and foremost, Warning. This is a bigger-then-normal question. I like to be thorough and try to eliminate all possible "easymode" answers, as well as give everyone a feel of what i've tried. I've included several images of our setup and the problem it is having.. TLDR Version: So I've followed the guides located here: ESX Deployment Guide V1 this is the guide Dell has sent me to setup two ESX3.5 servers mounting a Dell MD3000i. It doesn't work. Both servers can't use the same storage partition on the MD3000. Both servers see it, but only one server can actually use it. (that server being whatever server created the partition on the target.) Both ESX servers are members of the Host Group. Full Version I have 2 ESX3.5 Servers (10.0.7.102, also called EPI2, and 10.0.7.103, also called EPI3.) connected to a iSCSI SAN Device (Dell MD3000i). Both ESX servers can "scan" the SAN and see the LUNS. Part One: MD3000i Storage On the MD3000i, Both servers are in my host group. I have two partitions, VM1 and VM2, both 1.6TB (vmware doesn't like anything past 2tb.) And you can even see that the ESX servers are targetting the MD3000 just fine. Part Two: The ESX Servers Figure 1. So as you can see above, Both ESX Servers (10.0.7.102 and 10.0.7.103) are able to see and scan the MD3000i SAN. Figure 2. Above is the storage both servers see. I created the storage partition on EPI2 (102). I then Extended the partition to include the second LUN for a grand total of 3.27 TB of storage. When i "rescan" on 103 (the server not mounting the partition), I get the below log in log/messages. Mar 11 10:41:18 epi3 kernel: scsi1: remove-single-device 0 0 0 failed, device busy(4). being the only line that grabs my attentions. Removing partition on 102, Formatted partition on 103 instead. Same result, except flipped. 103 can use storage, 102 can not. Starting Over. Removing all iSCSI Targets on both ESX Boxes, disabling iSCSI, turning off the firewall for iSCSI, rebooting ESX. Then on the MD3000, Removed the Host Group, Removed the Host-to-Virtual Mappings, Restarted the SAN. Followed the Documentation again, same result. Both servers see the storage, but only one server can use it. Disabling and Re-enabling VMware DRS and HA. Same result. Flat-out turning off VMware DRS and HA, and doing the "start over" step to see if maybe that borked it. Same Result. I'm kinda loosing my mind here, Everything i read online says "just partition it and if the ESX boxes can see the targets, it just works".... well crap. Any ideas, any other things to try? Can anyone atleast point me in the right direction? I'm really tired of working from 1am til 4am (our maintenance hours)

  • How to execute a command from with in MSI?

    - by okhalid
Hi, I have a installation setup with works like this: /exec.exe /some-command This whole setup is located on a shared disk to which my target machine have access to. All i want is to create a small MSI wrapper that basically executes the above command. I don't need to any other fancy things? I looked up on the web; there are tools that create MSI for you but they generate huge amount of other things with them as well. My need is very simple and straight forward. It would be great if some could help me with this issue. Thanks, Omer

Hi! I've problem regarding GUI with one Menu and one Order Class. I've created a variable to store how many items have been selected in the Menu Class. private int totalSelected; The var totalSelected is live updated. It can be changed anytime depending on actionPerformed() function.(Exp: totalSelected will add up all the selected items) In the Order Class, how can I access to the live update variable totalSelected in order to retrieve the live update value? When I invoke getTotalSelected() function inside the Menu Class, I will only obtain a 0 value. Thanks for your help ^^!

  • ASP.Net MVC and N-Tier

    - by Damien
Greetings, Apologies in advance that I have not researched this toughly enough to answer the question myself, but I imagine it would take me some time and I would rather know now before I invest more time in learning it. I couldn't find anything in my initial research.. Why use ASP.Net MVC if your already using a multi-tier architecture (Data Layer, Logic Layer, Presentation Layer)? Other than the fact the controller has more power than the logic layer. Am I right in thinking I can use nHibernate and all my data access classes, entities, and mappings in the Model part of the MVC? When using controllers, is it best to separate a lot of the logic into a separate class so I can call it from multiple controllers? Or can I call them from the controllers themselves, considering the fact that I would not want all of them to be Actions, just normal methods. Thanks

  • Iterator for boost::variant

    - by Ivan
Hy there, I'm trying to adapt an existing code to boost::variant. The idea is to use boost::variant for a heterogeneous vector. The problem is that the rest of the code use iterators to access the elements of the vector. Is there a way to use the boost::variant with iterators? I've tried typedef boost::variant<Foo, Bar> Variant; std::vector<Variant> bag; std::vector<Variant>::iterator it; for(it= bag.begin(); it != bag.end(); ++it){ cout<<(*it)<<endl; } But it didn't work.

  • wsimport and Android or any other ProxyGenerator for android?

    - by Shoaib Shaikh
I am currently developing an Android app i previously developed for IPhone. My Backend is built using WCF service with basichttpEndpoint, i also enabled RESTful methods for better support with other Mobile platforms as well. Now i want to access my existing WCF service(SOAP/REST endpoint) on Android but i need some good ProxyGenerator to consume my services. I just google around for some solution and i found wsimport and wsdl2java(Axis) are two options in java domain. But i am still unable to find any solution related to Android. Can anyone suggest me the best practice in such scenario?

  • Exception when ASP.NET attempts to delete network file.

    - by Jordan Terrell
Greetings - I've got an ASP.NET application that is trying to delete a file on a network share. The ASP.NET application's worker process is running under a domain account (confirmed this by looking in TaskManager and by using ShowContexts2.aspx¹). I've been assured by the network admins that the process account is a member of a group that has Modify permissions to the directory that contains the file I'm trying to delete. However, it is unable to do so, and instead I get an exception (changed the file path to all x's): System.Web.HttpUnhandledException: Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown. --- System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path '\xxxxxxx\xxxxxxx\xxxxxxx\xxxxxx.xxx' is denied. Any ideas on how to diagnose/fix this issue? Thanks - Jordan ¹ http://www.leastprivilege.com/ShowContextsNET20Version.aspx

I know this doesn't work but shows what i want to do class A(models.Model): item_type = models.CharField(max_length=100, choices=ITEMTYPE_CHOICES, verbose_name="<a href='http://www.quackit.com/html/codes'>Item Type</a>") Other option would be to put a description next to the field. Im not even sure where to start from.

  • C++ - Conway's Game of Life & Stepping Backwards

    - by Gabe
I was able to create a version Conway's Game of Life that either stepped forward each click, or just ran forward using a timer. (I'm doing this using Qt.) Now, I need to be able to save all previous game grids, so that I can step backwards by clicking a button. I'm trying to use a stack, and it seems like I'm pushing the old gridcells onto the stack correctly. But when I run it in QT, the grids don't change when I click BACK. I've tried different things for the last three hours, to no avail. Any ideas? gridwindow.cpp - My problem should be in here somewhere. Probably the handleBack() func. #include <iostream> #include "gridwindow.h" using namespace std; // Constructor for window. It constructs the three portions of the GUI and lays them out vertically. GridWindow::GridWindow(QWidget *parent, int rows, int cols) : QWidget(parent) { QHBoxLayout *header = setupHeader(); // Setup the title at the top. • svn server synchronise automatically

    - by zapping
I have a svn server on our lan locally its on windows. The developers use and check in/out from that. Just to be on the safer side we have took up a server from rackspace a linux one. Is it possible to do an automatic weekly synchronise from the local svn server to the remote one. The remote one will be mainly used as a remote backup but just in case if somebody wants to access then they can do as there is no static or external IP for our lan.

  • Porting from GAE to TomCat or another servlet server

    - by bach
Hi guys, I'm unhappy from GAE because - One can't have a global variable and the 'synchronize' keyword. Instead one have to catch a basically DB transcational exception and retry in a while loop - which will eat all my free CPU time and will start costing me money as I reach the google's qouata. Is it safe to use synchronize inside a doPost() in tomcat? (i guess that it's ok as long as all the servlets are running on on 1 VM?). If not in all tomcat configurations, how do I configure tomcat to make it safe? How can I convert a GAE app to my own tomcat server? - How to install DataNucleus Access Platform on tomcat? Best regards

  • LinqDataSource wizard table list is not refreshing after updating LinqToSql classes

    - by dotnet_learner
I have changed my dbml file like this. I have deleted all the tables and stored procs. I added new tables and stored procs from a new database. In the code-behind, I can access the new tables and stored procs. However, in the LinqDataSource using the same dbContext when I'm trying to configure the LinqDataSource. I can see all the old tables in the wizard drop-down. How to refresh the the wizard drop-down so that I can select the newly added tables? Deleting the old LinqDataSourceand adding a new one is not working.

  • ODBC Proxy for remotely accessing legacy resources?

    - by Winston Fassett
Our project uses AcuCorp's AcuODBC driver to access a legacy Vision database. The problem is that we only have a 32-bit driver and the installer simply won't run on our 64-bit servers. I need a way to use SSIS to pull data from that system. As far as I can tell, there are 3 options: Set up a whole new SQL Server instance with SSIS and the AcuODBC drivers on a 32-bit VM (costly) Try to hack the 32-bit driver onto our 64-bit server manually (failure prone and unsupported) Set up a 32-bit VM with some sort of "proxy" service that our 64-bit SSIS can use to pull the data. The first option is the least desirable. If you have any suggestions for options 2 or 3, or anything else I haven't thought of, I'd love to hear them.

  • Convert db data encoding to UTF-8

    - by lnetanel
Hi, I use Sql Server 2000 and I inserted some data in hebrew to a table. I need to access this data through an iPhone app using an ASP page that query the table. The problem is that in the iPhone app the Hebrew is shown as strange signs. I think my problem is that the data that is generated from my db isn't in UTF-8 but in USC-2 Any suggestions how to convert the data from my db to utf so it will be readable on the iPhone? 10x.

  • Can't authenticate with different NTLM credentials in one session with java.net.URLConnection

    - by ndn
When I access a HTTP server using the standard Java API (java.net.URLConnection), the credentials are "cached" after the first successful authentication, and subsequent calls to Authenticator.setDefault() have no effect. So, I need to restart the application in order to use different credentials. I don't observe this effect when Basic Authentication is used. But I need to use NTLM for the server I'm accessing, and the Jakarta Commons HttpClient isn't an alternative either because it doesn't support NTLMv2 (see http://oaklandsoftware.com/papers/ntlm.html) Looking at the packets using Wireshark, I also observe that before the first successful authentication, an authentication with the current Windows credentials is attempted first. But after succesful authentication, only the saved credentials are used. Is there any way to reset or change the credentials java.net.Authenticator is using after a successful NTLM authentication?

  • Using readfile() with remote URL and SSL

    - by ColmF
I have a php-based website that uses SSL and requires a a user to login before accessing any page. I would like to allow access to this site from another domain, so that the functionality remains the same, but the look, feel and domain changes for the user (with the added advantage that I have to maintain only one version of the code). Having done some reading, I'm using readfile() function calls in php files on the secondary server to corresponding files on the primary server. For example, the login.php on the primary server is accessed from the secondary server by a file called login.php containing readfile("http://www.primarydomain.com/login.php") (and nothing else). Now the problem - I can't even login! The login page appears fine when called initially, but when login user and pwd are entered and submitted, it's as if the remote server doesn't see the $_SERVER['REQUEST_METHOD'] variable that triggers form processing and just loads as an empty form. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong or what configuation I might need to change? Thanks!

  • Why does PowerShell fail to build my .net solutions? ("file is being used by another process")

    - by urig
I've written a PowerShell script to build several .net solutions one after the other. It simply makes several calls to csc.exe to build the .sln files. Almost every time I run the script one of the solutions fails to build and CSC.exe reports: error CS1606: Assembly signing failed; output may not be signed -- The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. This happens even though I've closed all instances of Visual Studio holding these solutions and I've none of their exes running on mu machine. A similar batch file that I've written works just fine. It's only PowerShell that complains about the file being used by another process. How can avoid having this happen? Are there any better examples out there of building .net solutions through PowerShell?

  • Private VCS hosts for school projects?

    - by Ibrahim
I want to use version control for a partner project for school, but these days it seems like there are no private, free VCS hosts that I could use. I would prefer to use git if possible, but I wouldn't mind SVN. Alternatively, if there aren't any, shouldn't there be some way for me to use git without a central repository? I don't know enough about git, but I assume that is the point of a DVCS, no? I've considered scp'ing a clone of the repository to my school unix account and then giving my partner access to that, but it seems like it would be a bit of a pain. What are your thoughts/suggestions? Edit: I do know of one site called xp-dev, but I'm not sure how much I trust it. But I could use that and use git-svn on my side, since my partner has actually only ever used svn. But still wondering if there are any alternatives.

  • Jquery ajax request error callback is called instead of success even after response recieved from server

    - by Muhammad Tahir Butt
I am using jquery ajax funtion to get some content from my webservice. Response from the server is received but every time error callback is called instead of success callback. And this error is returned in xhr.error: function (){if(l){var t=l.length;(function i(t){x.each(t,function(t,n){var r=x.type(n);"function"===r?e.unique&&p.has(n)||l.push(n):n&&n.length&&"string"!==r&&i(n)})})(arguments),n?o=l.length:r&&(s=t,c(r))}return this} Here is the screenshot of response from server: and here is the code i am using to make the request: function abcdef() { $.ajax({ url: "http://192.168.61.129:8000/get-yt-access-token/", type: "GET", contentType:"application/json", error: function(xhr, textStatus, errorThrown){ alert("its error! • How do I get an unexpanded REG_EXPAND_SZ string from a remote registry?

    - by dalehhirt
I am currently using RegistryKey.GetValue(string name, object defaultValue, RegistryValueOptions options) with RegistryValueOptions.DoNotExpandEnvironmentNames for the options value. However, this is only valid when run on the local machine. Digging down via Reflector, I find it expands the strings locally. Which means that irrespective of the setting, the strings come down remotely already expanded. Has anyone come across a solution to this that does not require running a process directly on the remote machine to get a REG_EXPAND_SZ value? Update: I attempted to use WMI's StdRegProv provider to gain access, but it still expands the strings before sending them back.
