  • Using Entity Framework V4 - Mapping Stored Procedures with XML output

    - by ericwahner
    I have been attempting to implement the Entity framework into my project and unfortunately it seems like mapping an XML result set from SQL is not something that is supported. I also have issues with returning multiple result sets, though I understand that the EFExtensions was created to try to mitigate that issue. Is there a way to take a FOR XML EXPLICIT result from a SQL Stored Procedure and map it using the Entity Framework?

  • Array Intersect giving wrong output

    - by Pankaj Khurana
    Hi, I need to find common elements between two arrays. My code is: $sql="SELECT DISTINCT fk_paytbl_discounts_discountid as discountid from paytbl_discounts_students WHERE fk_vtiger_cf_601='".$categoryid."'"; $discountstudentinfo=$objdb->customQuery($sql,false); $sql1="SELECT DISTINCT fk_paytbl_discounts_discountid as discountid from paytbl_discounts_variants WHERE fk_vtiger_products_productid='".$variantid."'"; $discountvariantinfo=$objdb->customQuery($sql1,false); $commondiscount=array_intersect($discountvariantinfo,$discountstudentinfo); First array Array ( [0] => Array ( [discountid] => 2 ) [1] => Array ( [discountid] => 8 ) [2] => Array ( [discountid] => 5 ) [3] => Array ( [discountid] => 4 ) ) Second array Array ( [0] => Array ( [discountid] => 1 ) [1] => Array ( [discountid] => 5 ) ) Common array Array ( [0] => Array ( [discountid] => 1 ) [1] => Array ( [discountid] => 5 ) ) Common array should have only discountid 5 but its showing 1 also. Please help me on this Thanks

  • Trouble recording unique regex output to array in perl

    - by Structure
    The goal of the following code sample is to read the contents of $target and assign all unique regex search results to an array. I have confirmed my regex statement works so I am simplifying that so as not to focus on it. When I execute the script I get a list of all the regex results, however, the results are not unique which leads me to believe that my manipulation of the array or my if (grep{$_ eq $1} @array) { check is causing a problem(s). #!/usr/bin/env perl $target = "string to search"; $inc = 0; $once = 1; while ($target =~ m/(regex)/g) { #While a regex result is returned if ($once) { #If $once is not equal to zero @array[$inc] = $1; #Set the first regex result equal to @array[0] $once = 0; #Set $once equal to zero so this is not executed more than once } else { if (grep{$_ eq $1 } @array ) { #From the second regex result, check to see if the result is already in the array #If so, do nothing } else { @array[$inc] = $1; #If it is not, then assign the regex search result to the next unused position in the array in any position. $inc++; #Increment to next unused array position. } } } print @array; exit 0;

  • Parsing html output and executing javascript

    - by user1841964
    I have this function: function parseScript(_source) { var source = _source; var scripts = new Array(); while(source.indexOf("<script") > -1 || source.indexOf("</script") > -1) { var s = source.indexOf("<script"); var s_e = source.indexOf(">", s); var e = source.indexOf("</script", s); var e_e = source.indexOf(">", e); scripts.push(source.substring(s_e+1, e)); source = source.substring(0, s) + source.substring(e_e+1); } for(var i=0; i<scripts.length; i++) { try { eval(scripts[i]); } catch(ex) { } } return source; } It parses and execute Javascript wonderfully except the when in <script type='text/javascript' src='scripts/gen_validatorv31.js'></script> the src file never gets executed.

  • Perl parsing ps fwaux output

    - by Magic Hat
    I am trying to figure out children processes of a given parent from ps fwaux (there may very well be a better way to do this). Basically, I have daemons running that may or may not have a child process running at any given time. In another script I want to check if there are any child processes, and if so do something. If not, error out. ps fwaux|grep will show me the tree, but I'm not exactly sure what to do with it. Any suggestions would be great.

  • Rails3 - will_paginate plugin strange output

    - by Sam
    I have the will_paginate plugin working in an application, but when I paginate a resource it just spits out the HTML as text, doesn't provide links to the next pages and such. And when I manually type in the URL the plugin is working it just doesn't make <%= will_paginate @products %> into links such as next 1 2 3 ... last Ideas?

  • Output of Iterable.sliding as Tuple

    - by ziggystar
    The method sliding on collections returns a sliding window of given size in the form of X[Iterable[A]] with X being the type of the collection and A the element type. Often I need two or three elements and I prefer to have them named. One ugly workaround for sliding(2) is the following: points.sliding(2).foreach{ twoPoints => val (p1,p2) = (twoPoints.head,twoPoints.last) //do something } This sucks and only works for two elements. Also note that (a,b) = (twoPoints(0),twoPoints(1)) doesn't work. Help me!

  • formatting fgetcsv output

    Im trying to figure out how to take the data returned by fgetcsv, and format it into a readable/editable table, and then use fputcsv to save that table so far i have this <?php $row = 1; $handle = fopen("csv.csv", "r"); while (($data = fgetcsv($handle, 1000, ",")) !== FALSE) { $num = count($data); $row++; for ($c=0; $c < $num; $c++) { echo $data[$c] . "\n"; } } fclose($handle); ?>

  • Strange output produced by program

    - by Boom_mooB
    I think that my code works. However, it outputs 01111E5, or 17B879DD, or something like that. Can someone please tell me why. I am aware that I set the limit of P instead of 10,001. My code is like that because I start with 3, skipping the prime number 2. #include <iostream> bool prime (int i) { bool result = true; int isitprime = i; for(int j = 2; j < isitprime; j++) ///prime number tester { if(isitprime%j == 0) result = false; } return result; } int main (void) { using namespace std; int PrimeNumbers = 1; int x = 0; for (int i = 3 ; PrimeNumbers <=10000; i++) { if(prime(i)) { int prime = i; PrimeNumbers +=1; } } cout<<prime<<endl; system ("pause"); return 0; }

  • What does this java output mean?!

    - by Phil
    public class Arrys { private int[] nums; //Step 3 public Arrys (int arrySize) { nums = new int[arrySize]; } public int [] getNums (){ return nums; } } Test class: public class TestArrys { public static void main(String args[]) { //Step 4 Arrys arry = new Arrys(10); System.out.println("\nStep4 "); for(int index = 0; index < arry.getNums().length; index++) { System.out.print(arry.getNums()); } } } It's incredibly simple, that is why I think I'm doing something fundamentally wrong. All I want is to display the value of the array. This is what I get back. I am totally lost, there is nothing in my book that explains this nor does googling it help. • CVS Diff to output only modified files?

    - by Somebody still uses you MS-DOS
    Is it possible? Run a cvs diff in terminal at the project root that outputs only modified files (like local files that aren't in source control and local modified files). I'm running cvs diff --brief but I still have too many results since my project is large, and with a lot of subdirectories - it shows the whole hierarchy and I just want to know which files are different from HEAD revision. I'm using Linux.

  • How to log SQL output to text file on client from C#

    - by Rob Packwood
    I have a large auditing stored procedure that prints values and runs some SELECT statements. When running within SQL Management Studio we have the use select to display "Results to Text" so all of the SQL results and print statement display in one place. Now I need to have some C# code also call this auditing procedure at the end of the process and basically store all data that would be in the "Results to Text" window into a .txt file. How can this be done?

  • Unexpected output on initializing array by using both `element-by-element` & `designated` technique

    - by haccks
    C99 provides a feature to initialize arrays by using both element-by-element & designated method together as: int a[] = {2,1,[3] = 5,[5] = 9,6,[8] = 4}; On running the code: #include <stdio.h> int main() { int a[] = {2,1,[3] = 5,[0] = 9,4,[6] = 25}; for(int i = 0; i < sizeof(a)/sizeof(a[0]); i++) printf("%d ",a[i]); return 0; } (Note that Element 0 is initialized to 2 and then again initialised by designator [0] to 9) I was expecting that element 0(which is 2) will be replaced by 9(as designator [0] = 9) and hence o/p will become 9 1 0 5 4 0 25 Unfortunately I was wrong as o/p came; 9 4 0 5 0 0 25 Any explanation for unexpected o/p?

  • One input file to multiple output files

    - by user1265669
    I found some helpful stuff on this site but my input file is different from the examples already posted and I cannot make the leap in an efficient manner. My input file looks like this: sample_dude data1 data2 data3 data4 sample_lady data5 data6 data7 data8 sample_dude data9 data10 data11 data12 sample_child data13 data14 data15 data16 I want to create a separate file for each sample with all the data columns. For example, one file would be called sample_dude.txt and look like this: data1 data2 data3 data4 data9 data10 data11 data12 There is an unknown number of samples but always just four data columns. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you. PS: I'm trying to do this in python.

  • Weird output as the numbers get bigger in Fibonacci sequence

    - by Jon
    I noticed in my fibonacci sequence that I'm getting negative numbers after a certain point. Does this have to do with the limited range of "int"? or is there something wrong with my code? Here is the code: using std::cout; int main() { int n = 50, f1 = 0, f2 = 1, fn = 0, i = 0; cout << "0 "; for (i = 0; i < n; i++) { fn = f1 + f2; f2 = f1; f1 = fn; cout << fn << " "; }

  • writing terminal output to file

    - by user1551817
    On my machine, I have some software which takes commands in the terminal and returns a list of values. To run it, I have to type something like: pdv -t filename I am trying to run it as part of a python programme. When I run the following: os.system('pdv -t %s' % (epoch_name)) then I get the values that I desire returned to my terminal (where epoch_name is the variable name for the filename). But when I try to write the result to a file: os.system('pdv -t %s % "(epoch_name)" > 123.txt') the file 123.txt is produced but it is empty. I know that I am misplacing the " and/or ' characters, but I can't figure out where they should go. Any help would be gratefully received!

  • How to get jquery to append output immediately after each ajax call in a loop

    - by david_nash
    I'd like to append to an element and have it update immediately. console.log() shows the data as expected but append() does nothing until the for loop has finished and then writes it all at once. index.html: ... <body> <p>Page loaded.</p> <p>Data:</p> <div id="Data"></div> </body> test.js: $(document).ready(function() { for( var i=0; i<5; i++ ) { $.ajax({ async: false, url: 'server.php', success: function(r) { console.log(r); //this works $('#Data').append(r); //this happens all at once } }); } }); server.php: <?php sleep(1); echo time()."<br />"; ?> The page doesn't even render until after the for loop is complete. Shouldn't it at least render the HTML first before running the javascript?

  • delay loop output in C++

    - by itachisxeyes
    I have a while loop that runs in a do while loop. I need the while loop to run exactly every second no faster no slower. but i'm not sure how i would do that. this is the loop, off in its own function. I have heard of the sleep() function but I also have heard that it is not very accurate. int min5() { int second = 00; int minute = 0; const int ZERO = 00; do{ while (second <= 59){ if(minute == 5) break; second += 1; if(second == 60) minute += 1; if(second == 60) second = ZERO; if(second < 60) cout << "Current Time> "<< minute <<" : "<< second <<" \n"; } } while (minute <= 5); }

  • How can I get the output of a command terminated by a alarm() call in Perl?

    - by rockyurock
    Case 1 If I run below command i.e iperf in UL only, then i am able to capture the o/p in txt file @output = readpipe("iperf.exe -u -c 127.0.0.1 -p 5001 -b 3600k -t 10 -i 1"); open FILE, ">Misplay_DL.txt" or die $!; print FILE @output; close FILE; Case 2 When I run iperf in DL mode , as we know server will start listening in cont. mode like below even after getting data from client (Here i am using server and client on LAN) @output = system("iperf.exe -u -s -p 5001 -i 1"); on server side: D:\_IOT_SESSION_RELATED\SEEM_ELEMESNTS_AT_COMM_PORT_CONF\Tput_Related_Tools\AUTO MATION_APP_\AUTOMATION_UTILITYiperf.exe -u -s -p 5001 ------------------------------------------------------------ Server listening on UDP port 5001 Receiving 1470 byte datagrams UDP buffer size: 8.00 KByte (default) ------------------------------------------------------------ [1896] local 192.168.5.101 port 5001 connected with 192.168.5.101 port 4878 [ ID] Interval Transfer Bandwidth Jitter Lost/Total Datagrams [1896] 0.0- 2.0 sec 881 KBytes 3.58 Mbits/sec 0.000 ms 0/ 614 (0%) command prompt does not appear , process is contd... on client side: D:\_IOT_SESSION_RELATED\SEEM_ELEMESNTS_AT_COMM_PORT_CONF\Tput_Related_Tools\AUTO MATION_APP_\AUTOMATION_UTILITYiperf.exe -u -c 192.168.5.101 -p 5001 -b 3600k -t 2 -i 1 ------------------------------------------------------------ Client connecting to 192.168.5.101, UDP port 5001 Sending 1470 byte datagrams UDP buffer size: 8.00 KByte (default) ------------------------------------------------------------ [1880] local 192.168.5.101 port 4878 connected with 192.168.5.101 port 5001 [ ID] Interval Transfer Bandwidth [1880] 0.0- 1.0 sec 441 KBytes 3.61 Mbits/sec [1880] 1.0- 2.0 sec 439 KBytes 3.60 Mbits/sec [1880] 0.0- 2.0 sec 881 KBytes 3.58 Mbits/sec [1880] Server Report: [1880] 0.0- 2.0 sec 881 KBytes 3.58 Mbits/sec 0.000 ms 0/ 614 (0%) [1880] Sent 614 datagrams D:\_IOT_SESSION_RELATED\SEEM_ELEMESNTS_AT_COMM_PORT_CONF\Tput_Related_Tools\AUTO MATION_APP_\AUTOMATION_UTILITY so with this as server is cont. listening and never terminates so can't take output of server side to a txt file as it is going to the next command itself to create a txt file so i adopted the alarm() function to terminate the server side (iperf.exe -u -s -p 5001) commands after it received all data from the client. could anybody suggest me the way.. Here is my code: #! /usr/bin/perl -w my $command = "iperf.exe -u -s -p 5001"; my @output; eval { local $SIG{ALRM} = sub { die "Timeout\n" }; alarm 20; #@output = `$command`; #my @output = readpipe("iperf.exe -u -s -p 5001"); #my @output = exec("iperf.exe -u -s -p 5001"); my @output = system("iperf.exe -u -s -p 5001"); alarm 0; }; if ($@) { warn "$command timed out.\n"; } else { print "$command successful. Output was:\n", @output; } open FILE, ">display.txt" or die $!; print FILE @output_1; close FILE; i know that with system command i cannot capture the o/p to a txt file but i tried with readpipe() and exec() calls also but in vain... could some one please take a look and let me know why the iperf.exe -u -s -p 5001 is not terminating even after the alarm call and to take the out put to a txt file
