- by user856753
    I am trying to add a on click listener to the below tooltip. I do not want the tooltip to display on mouse hover. Instead it need it show on button click. Do I have to add a handler function inside a listener? { xtype: 'button', cls:'my-btn', iconCls:'question', src:'../www/css/slate/btn/question.png', padding: '5 0 0 0', listeners: { render: function(cmp) { Ext.create('Ext.tip.ToolTip', { closable:true, hideDelay : 3000, padding: '0 0 0 0', maxWidth:400, width:800, target: cmp.el, html: "read-only:Users will have read only access to all pages", getTargetXY: function() { return [810, 340]; } }); } } },

  • Are delegates copied during assignment to an event?

    - by Sir Psycho
    Hi, The following code seems to execute the FileRetrieved event more than once. I thought delegates were a reference type. I was expecting this to execute once. I'm going to take a guess and say that the reference is being passed by value, therefore copied but I don't like guesswork :-) public delegate void DirListEvent<T>(T dirItem); void Main() { DirListEvent<string> printFilename = s => { Console.WriteLine (s); }; var obj = new DirectoryLister(); obj.FileRetrieved += printFilename; obj.FileRetrieved += printFilename; obj.GetDirListing(); } public class DirectoryLister { public event DirListEvent<string> FileRetrieved; public DirectoryLister() { FileRetrieved += delegate {}; } public void GetDirListing() { foreach (var file in Directory.GetFiles(@"C:\")) { FileRetrieved(file); } } }

  • ASP.NET ObjectDataSource, change CommandName property of FromView Button

    - by Tone
    I have an ObjectDataSource that I'm using with a FormView, and it works fine, but i want to change one small thing. On the FormView the button that fires the update has the CommandName attribute set to "Update," but I would like to change that attribute to something other than "Update" - when I do change that attribute the update no longer works. The reason I want to do this is I have multiple FormViews on the same page and need to have multiple update buttons. Below is my code: FormView: <asp:FormView ID="fvGeneralInfo" runat="server" DataSourceID="objInstructorDetails" CssClass="Gridview" OnItemCommand="fvGeneralInfo_ItemCommand" DefaultMode="Edit"> <EditItemTemplate>
....

<asp:Label runat="server" ID="lblGeneralInfoMessage" Text="General Info updated successfully" Visible="false" />

<asp:Button runat="server" ID="btnUpdateGeneralInfo" ValidationGroup="UpdateGeneralInfo" Text="Update" CommandName="Update" /> <asp:Button runat="server" ID="btnCancelGeneralInfo" Text="Cancel" CommandName="CancelGeneralInfo" />

</EditItemTemplate> </asp:FormView> ObjectDataSource: <asp:ObjectDataSource ID="objInstructorDetails" runat="server" TypeName="AIMLibrary.BLL.Instructor" SelectMethod="GetInstructorDetails" InsertMethod="InsertInstructor" UpdateMethod="UpdateInstructor" OnInserting="objInstructorDetails_OnInserting" OnUpdating="objInstructorDetails_OnUpdating" > <SelectParameters> <asp:QueryStringParameter Name="InstructorId" QueryStringField="InstructorId" /> </SelectParameters> <UpdateParameters> <asp:Parameter Name="instructorId" Type="Int32" /> <asp:Parameter Name="firstName" Type="String" DefaultValue="" /> <asp:Parameter Name="middleName" Type="String" DefaultValue="" /> <asp:Parameter Name="lastName" Type="String" DefaultValue="" /> <asp:Parameter Name="phone" Type="String" DefaultValue="" /> <asp:Parameter Name="email" Type="String" DefaultValue="" /> <asp:Parameter Name="addressLine1" Type="String" DefaultValue="" /> <asp:Parameter Name="addressLine2" Type="String" DefaultValue="" /> <asp:Parameter Name="city" Type="String" DefaultValue="" /> <asp:Parameter Name="state" Type="String" DefaultValue="" /> <asp:Parameter Name="zip" Type="String" DefaultValue="" /> <asp:Parameter Name="abcBoardNumber" Type="String" DefaultValue="" /> </UpdateParameters> </asp:ObjectDataSource>

  • Making your class an event source in Java

    - by Crystal
    I'm making a custom button in Java that has two states, mousePressed, and mouseReleased. At the same time, if I wanted to reuse this button, so that other event listeners can register with it, are these the appropriate steps I should do: override addActionListener(ActionListener action) override removeActionListener(ActionListener action) have a private variable like List <ActionListener> list = new List <ActionListener>() to keep track of when events get added and some sort of function with for loop to run all the actions: public void runListeners() { for (ActionListener al : list) { al.actionPerfomed; } } I'm not really sure if this is the way you can do it or if there are other things I am missing. Like does my custom class have to be implements ActionListener? Thanks.

  • onclick event not working after ie7 reload

    - by Charles
    I am using Javascript to dynamically create part of my page content. A routine that generates a set of img tags is called from the window.onload event. Those img tags are assigned attributes, including an onclick event. The img tags host thumbnail images that, when clicked, change the src property of the image in the main view div. Everything works properly in FF 3.5. I can reload the page and the dynamically generated onclick events continue to fire as expected. In IE7 everything works normally until I reload the page. At that point events that were hard coded into the xhtml section continue to work as expected, and the dynamically generated img tags are shown on the page, but their onclick events fail to work. How can I get IE7 to implement the dynamically generated click events on reload?

I do not really want to dispaly this button where the table is empty. So at least if the table is populated by nly one record i want that button being displayed. How should i deal in this case. Thanks.

  • Event handling for keyboard strokes

    - by david
    Hey, I'm trying to get familiar with the whole keyboard event detection thing. Here's my sample code. <fx:Script> import flash.events.KeyboardEvent; import mx.controls.Alert; private function init():void{ addEventListener(KeyboardEvent.KEY_DOWN,reportKeyDown); } private function reportKeyDown(event:KeyboardEvent):void { Alert.show("a key was pressed"); } </fx:Script> As you can see, I'm at stage 0 of playing around with it, but it won't work. Anyone has any idea what I should be doing instead? Thanks

  • Stripes link event triggering validation that is incorrect.

    - by Davoink
    I have stripes:link tag in a jsp with an event attribute: <stripes:link href="${actionBean.context.currentStage.stripesForwardAction}" addSourcePage="true" event="showTab2Link"> This triggers the validation to trigger on nested properties: @ValidateNestedProperties({ @Validate(field="county", required=true, minlength=2, maxlength=2, mask="\\d\\d"), @Validate(field="parish", required=true, minlength=3, maxlength=3, mask="\\d\\d\\d"), @Validate(field="holding", required=true, minlength=4, maxlength=4, mask="\\d\\d\\d\\d") }) However this would been fine if the actual values it is validation are not present, but they are present within the html and when debugging the bean. Why would the stripes:link trigger this? If I change it to an stripes:submit then it is fine. thanks, Dave

  • CKeditor 3.0 - How to know which toolbar button is clicked

    - by understack
    Hi, I want to update few variables when any of the toolbar button (like bold, italic etc) is clicked. I'm unable to trap 'click' event on any of these buttons. Could somebody give me an example when clicking on 'bold' button would also pop up an alert box? How can I trap 'paste' event? I've googled a lot and searched ckeditor forum but couldn't find any solution. Any pointer would be really helpful. Thanks.

  • Cached ObjectDataSource not firing Select Event even Cache Dependecy Removed

    - by John Polvora
    I have the following scenario. A Page with a DetailsView binded to an ObjectDatasource with cache-enabled. The SelectMethod is assigned at Page_Load event, depending on my User Level Logic. After assigned the selectMethod and Parameters for the ODS, if Cache not exists, then ODS will be cached the first time. The next time, the cache will be applied to the ODS and the select event don't need to be fired since the dataresult is cached. The problem is, the ODS Cache works fine, but I have a Refresh button to clear the cache and rebind the DetailsView. Am I doing correctly ? Below is my code. <asp:DetailsView ID="DetailsView1" runat="server" DataSourceID="ObjectDataSource_Summary" EnableModelValidation="True" EnableViewState="False" ForeColor="#333333" GridLines="None"> </asp:DetailsView> <asp:ObjectDataSource ID="ObjectDataSource_Summary" runat="server" SelectMethod="" TypeName="BL.BusinessLogic" EnableCaching="true"> <SelectParameters> <asp:Parameter Name="idCompany" Type="String" /> <SelectParameters> </asp:ObjectDataSource> <asp:ImageButton ID="ImageButton_Refresh" runat="server" OnClick="RefreshClick" ImageUrl="~/img/refresh.png" /> And here is the code behind public partial class Index : Page { protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { ObjectDataSource_Summary.SelectMethod = ""; ObjectDataSource_Summary.SelectParameters[0].DefaultValue = ""; switch (this._loginData.UserLevel) //this is a struct I use for control permissions e pages behaviour { case OperNivel.SysAdmin: case OperNivel.SysOperator: { ObjectDataSource_Summary.SelectMethod = "SystemSummary"; ObjectDataSource_Summary.SelectParameters[0].DefaultValue = "0"; break; } case OperNivel.CompanyAdmin: case OperNivel.CompanyOperator: { ObjectDataSource_Summary.SelectMethod = "CompanySummary"; ObjectDataSource_Summary.SelectParameters[0].DefaultValue = this._loginData.UserLevel.ToString(); break; } default: break; } } protected void Page_LoadComplete(object sender, EventArgs e) { if (Cache[ObjectDataSource_Summary.CacheKeyDependency] == null) { this._loginData.LoginDatetime = DateTime.Now; Session["loginData"] = _loginData; Cache[ObjectDataSource_Summary.CacheKeyDependency] = _loginData; DetailsView1.DataBind(); } } protected void RefreshClick(object sender, ImageClickEventArgs e) { Cache.Remove(ObjectDataSource_Summary.CacheKeyDependency); } } Can anyone help me? The Select() Event of the ObjectDasource is not firing even I Remove the CacheKey Dependency

  • Radio button inside anchor element is reset after jQuery click handler

    - by GrievousAngel
    I have a situation where an element, of type radio, is contained in an element. The anchor element has a href but I want to override that behaviour by adding a jQuery 'click' handler to the element. The click handler makes the radio button inside it the selected one within the group. This all works when the anchor is clicked, however, when the radio button is clicked it appears that jQuery resets the selected radio to the previously selected one! Here is a the simplified page that duplicates the issue:

   Details 1

   Details 2

Does anyone have any idea how I can prevent jQuery for resetting the radio button?

  • UIActionSheet cancel button strange behaviour

    - by nevan
    I have a UIBarButtonItem opening an action sheet to offer users choices about what to do. Everything works as expected unless I try to click on the "Cancel" button. The target of the button appears to have moved up from where it should be. I can only activate it by clicking somewhere in the middle of the "Cancel" and "Ok" buttons. I've tried at action sheets in other applications and they work fine, so it's not just my big thumb. The action sheet is opening in a UIViewController - (void)showOpenOptions { UIActionSheet *sheet = [[UIActionSheet alloc] initWithTitle:NSLocalizedString(@"Open link in external application?", @"Open in external application") delegate:self cancelButtonTitle:NSLocalizedString(@"Cancel", @"Cancel") destructiveButtonTitle:NSLocalizedString(@"Open Link", @"Open Link") otherButtonTitles:nil]; [sheet showInView:self.view]; [sheet release]; }

  • ASP.net: Radio Button Not Maintaining Selection After Postback, Inside DIV/Thickbox

    - by jlrolin
    I have a set of radio buttons inside a hidden DIV.

Report Type::

<asp:RadioButton ID="rbReportTypeCust" runat="server" Text="By Customer" Enabled="True" Checked="True" GroupName="rbType" /> <asp:RadioButton ID="rbReportTypeProg" runat="server" Text="By Program" Enabled="True" GroupName="rbType" />

Customer:

<asp:DropDownList ID="ddlCustomer" runat="server" />

Program Group::

<asp:DropDownList ID="ddlProgramGroups" runat="server" />

<asp:Button ID="btnSubmit" runat="server" Text="Submit" OnClientClick="doPostBack(this);" />

The DIV is displayed using Thickbox as a modal popup. The doPostback javascript function posts the button click back, and hits btnSubmit_Click where a report is then generated. If I see if a radio button is checked, it's always rbReportTypeCust.checked = True, never the rbReportTypeProg.checked = True even if I click it. Any suggestions?

  • Back button causes iFrame to delay window.onLoad event

    - by JoJo
    I serve ads through an iFrame. The ad network's servers are much slower than mine, so I asyncronously load the iFrame after the window.onLoad event. Event.observe( window, 'load', function() { $('ad').writeAttribute('ad.html'); } ); A problem occurs when you enter the site via the browser's back button. Unexpectedly, the ad iFrame attempts to load immediately, delaying window.onLoad for a few seconds. During these few seconds, the site is unusable because I do a bunch of initialization after window.onLoad. As far as I know, this only happens in Firefox. How do I prevent this blocking load?

  • jquery autocomplete on button click get hidden value

    - by gabriel
    using jquery autocomplete, we get hidden value by calling .result function like this $("#suggest").result(function(event, data, formatted) { $('#hidden').val(data[1]); }); This is only useful when we selected the option from autosuggest list and press enter. What i need is that i enter the option by typing the complete word without selecting it and clicking on Ok button? but i am always getting empty.    function GetValue() { //get hidden field value - getting empty var hid=document.getElementById('hidden').value; }
