  • Automated incremental backups from Plesk on Centos to Amazon S3

    Hi, I've done a far bit of research on this via Google and there seems to be quite a few ways of possibly doing this. I'm looking to incrementally backup new and updated files in two directories on my Plesk run Centos 5.2 server: /backups and /var/www/vhosts (preferable only httdocs within each vhost) Has anyone got some great feedback from using the various solutions - seems to be various Java, Perl and Ruby based solutions out there.   • Windows Mobile Device Center (6.1) not starting?

    Hi all, I am trying to start windows mobile device center on windows 7 machine. But it only shows me the small green window that is shown at loading time and then it is closed automatically. I am not getting what the problem is. I tried to uninstall the previous update then re-installed again but the problem is not gone. Guys please help me out.   • Forwarding all received mail to another server in Exchange 2007

    Hi, We are moving away from our Exchange environment on a hosted server to one managed in-house, and I was wondering how to have the hosted Exchange forward all email received to the new server - the servers are not on the same network, and both have the same users setup. Basically, I just need the hosted Exchange to act as a dumb relay - accept the mail, send it straight on to our new server without trying to deliver locally. Is this possible? Regards Moo

    Hi Folks, I've just switched to zsh. However, I really don't like how the time builtin command also outputs the command that it's timing. I much prefer the bash style output. Anyone know how to switch it over? I know I can set the port number using adsutil.vbs like this: cscript adsutil.vbs set w3svc/xxx/securebindings ":443:somewhere.com" But I am drawing a big blank when it comes to assigning an existing ssl certificate. Inside /var/svn, there are various projects - /var/svn/foo, /var/svn/bar, etc. I want to be able to give user "A" full SVN permissions for 'foo', but not 'bar', and vice versa - user "B" could have permissions to 'bar' but not necessarily 'foo'. What is the best way to do this?

    Hi, I've set up a shared email account at Exchange, which several users have access to, as a secondary mailbox (along with their personal mailbox) I would like to know if the following is possible all replies and/or mail created when "in" the shared account, is sent from the shared account all sent mail end up in the sent mail folder of the shared account, not the individual users sent mail folders users can set custom signatures when sending mail from the shared account Is this possible to accomplish with Exchange 2007/Outlook, using server and/or clientside rules? I wanna have a diagram with the following table Apple 30 40 50 Pears 200 300 400 Bananas 10 20 30 The weird thing, when I try to draw a bar diagram the order of the bars change. So Excel draws me first the Bananas, the the pears and finally the apple bar... Is there anyway to tell Excel 2003 that it keeps the order? Thank you very much

    Hi, I wonder if the following things can be done with the HTML notes pane of freemind: 1- is it possible on the layout view to decrease the separation between lines? 2- the panel is horizontal, is it possible to setup a vertical view? (I have a big, horizontal-like monitor) By the way, when I move the mouse pointer over a node, i can see the HTLM note associated with it, but its view (as a yellow square) only lasts for some seconds.   • Upgrade from Etch to Lenny, server no longer reboots

    Hi, I just upgraded my (remote) webserver to Lenny from Etch. and no real issue occurs except that I cannot reboot that server. (I can only start in a rescue mode) I recall that a MBR change performed and I am wondering if that could be the reason for this failure. Would someone know how I can revert this MBR change ? I had switched back to my previous linux kernel, still cannot reboot. I would appreciate your help. thanks Jack

    Hi I am trying to use a DVI splitter so I can use either my pc monitor or my TV which is close to the pc, Both monitors work fine if the splitter is connected after the pc has booted up, But if the pc is re booted both the monitors show a blank screen after saying there is no signal. I have been told it could be because the monitors are working on different resolutions is this the case, If so how can I cure the problem without having to keep changing the res on TV monitor

The Slingbox is a TV streaming device that enables users to remotely view their home's cable. it seems that slingbox streams to amazon ec2 servers and from there to the client so i can't really give priority based on ip-address.
