• Allowed Values list in drupal CCK Fields

  Hello, I'm basically looking to simply print out each of the allowed values in a CCK field.. i know the allowed values are stored inside a text field within the table: 'content_node_field'. the values are then stored within 'global_settings' I'm looking to somehow print out each individual allowed value using a PHP loop. however with all values being stored within one text field.. im finding it hard to print out each value individually.

• returning JSON response to a ajax call prompts file download containing the response

  i am submitting a from using jQuery ajax, and server is returning json response. but instead of the script, parsing the json result, the browser is prompting me to download the json response. I have had this problem before, where i forgot to return false at the end of the event handler. But this time im clueless why this is happening. anyone has experienced this problem.. thanks

  I have an oracle query in which and i want the result to be in custom order 'SENIOR DIRECTOR', 'DIRECTOR', 'MANAGER', 'EMPLOYEE' which is from the field GRADE_DESCRIPTON.   I want to make it so that anytime the db is queried for an sfGuardUserProfile it is autmoatically joined and hydrated with its related sfGuardUser. If i was using propel i would normally override the doSelectStmt method of the sfGuardUserProfilePeer class to inspect the Criteria and modify it as necessary as well as modifying the hydrate method of the sfGuardUserProfile class. Im not sure how to go about doing this in Doctrine though.

  I have a record of data with unix time date in it i want to select the row based on the date/month/year only (not with time) currently Im using something like this select * from tablename where date > '$today' and date < '$tomorow' LIMIT 1; how ever this is not that accurate if the $today and $tomorrow have different time (but same date) is there any better way to do this?

  Hi, How can I check if a user enters a number in my UITextField. Basically its a mark im accepting between 0-100 and it can be a decimal....I heard i can try to convert it to a NSNumber type and see if it returns null. Not suree Any help would be appreciated. I have tried if(grade.text doubleValue] == 0){ //Not a number } but then it still can accept "23f". Thanks

  OK, i have been doing some work modding a pre-compiled ASP.NET application (VB codebehind) but i have come across something i have never seen before. When ever theres an error on the loading of a page, the page outputs nothing (no error message, no error message, nothing at all) firefox displays this error: XML Parsing Error: no element found Location: http://site.local/Checkout.aspx Line Number 1, Column 1: Because there is no html output. Is there some sort of setting that im missing that makes IIS/ASP.NET function like this?

  at the moment im loading xml and i am getting error: System.Xml.XmlException: ' ', hexadecimal value 0x17, is an invalid character. Line 2762, position 16. it is easy to fix. just open xml and remove the character. but I need to know is it possible to load xml even with invalid characters and use it for parsing. and is there any downside?
