  • Two different actions on form submit

    - by Pankaj Khurana
    Hi, I have a form with a submit button. I have called a function on click of submit button. function actionPage(form1) { form1.action="action1.php"; form1.submit(); return(true); } Now i want that the form data should be submitted to two different pages. These pages are on different servers. I know that we can send the data to a particular page according to the conditions but i am not sure whether we can submit to two different pages at the same time i.e: function actionPage(form1) { form1.action="action1.php"; form1.submit(); return(true); form1.action="action2.php"; form1.submit(); return(true); } Right now it is showing action1.php Please guide me on this . Regards, Pankaj

  • Can't set a cookie in Chrome 5

    - by Nicolas
    Hi, Since today I am facing a tricky issue with Google Chrome that I've just updated to v5. I have a user login process running on my website. Everything works fine on FF 3.6.x and IE 7, but I just can't set any cookie in Google Chrome 5. I'm mentioning 5 because it worked very well before on v4. My PHP script looks like that: $cook = setcookie($cookieName, $value, $expires, '/', '.'.$domain); var_dump($cook, isset($_COOKIE[$cookieName])); I even tried the alternative setrawcookie without any result. $cook = setrawcookie($cookieName, $value, $expires, '/', '.'.$domain); var_dump($cook, isset($_COOKIE[$cookieName])); FF 3.6.x and IE7 output: bool(true) bool(true) Whereas Chrome v5 outputs: bool(true) bool(false) And obviously I see not trace of this cookie in Google Chrome 5. Any idea? =/ Cheers, Nicolas.

  • Most efficient way to check if a date falls between two dates?

    - by Dave Jarvis
    Given: Start Month & Start Day End Month & End Day Any Year What SQL statement results in TRUE if a date lands between the Start and End days? 1st example: Start Date = 11-22 End Date = 01-17 Year = 2009 Specific Date = 2010-01-14 TRUE 2nd example: Start Date = 11-22 End Date = 11-16 Year = 2009 Specific Date = 2010-11-20 FALSE 3rd example: Start Date = 02-25 End Date = 03-19 Year = 2004 Specific Date = 2004-02-29 TRUE I was thinking of using the MySQL functions datediff and sign plus a CASE condition to determine whether the year wraps, but it seems rather expensive. Am looking for a simple, efficient calculation. Update The problem is the end date cannot simply use the year. The year must be increased if the end month/day combination happens before the start date. The start date is easy: Start Date = date( concat_ws( '-', year, Start Month, Start Day ) The end date is not so simple. Thank you!

  • How to center Label vertical and horizontal in draw2d Figure ?

    - by aphex
    I have the following situation: Label label = new Label(); label.setText("bla"); RoundedRectangle fig = new RoundedRectangle(); fig.add(label); FlowLayout layout = new FlowLayout(); layout.setStretchMinorAxis(true); fig.setLayoutManager(layout); fig.setOpaque(true); That works only to center the label vertical or horizontal by using layout.setHorizontal(true/false); , but not together. Any idea how to make it work ?

  • LinqDataSource question

    - by Abe Miessler
    Is it legal to define a default value for a parameter the way I am in the code below? It keeps throwing an "Input string was not in a correct format." error for me. Is there a different way I should be doing this? <asp:LinqDataSource ID="lds_numbers" runat="server" ContextTypeName="nrm.prop.myDataContext" TableName="Sources" Where="myNumber== @myNumber" EnableDelete="True" EnableInsert="True" EnableUpdate="True"> <WhereParameters> <asp:Parameter DefaultValue='<%= this.StateItems["myNumber"] %>' Name="myNumber" Type="Int32" /> </WhereParameters> . . .

  • Filemaker - Getting field values from related table

    - by foobar
    I have the following setup in Filemaker Pro 10. Table1 with: id_table1, related_names Table2 with: id_table2, name, include and a joint-table with: id_table1, id_table2 Now I want either make related_names a calculated field or write a script that sets related_names to a comma separated list of all names which are connected through the joint-table and have Table2.include = True. So for example a data set could look like: Table1 id_table1, related_names 1, "foo,bar" 2, "foo" 3, "" joint-table id_table1, id_table2 1,1 1,2 1,3 2,1 Table2 id_table2, name, include 1, foo, True 2, bar, True 3, baz, False After searching the internet for a few hours the closest I came was a calculated field with list(join-table::id_table2) which gives me a list with a all the id_table2's. But now I would need to find the appropriate records in table2 and check the include field. I hope the problem is clear. any help is highly appreciated.

  • using a texture mesh and wireframe mesh in threejs

    - by Andy Poes
    I'm trying to draw a wireframe mesh and a textured mesh in threeJS but when I have both added to my scene the textured mesh doesn't display. Code below: I'm having trouble creating two meshes that share the same geometry where one of the materials is wireframe and the other is a texture. If one of the materials is wireframe and the other is just a color fill it works fine- but as soon as I make the second material a texture it stops working. If I comment out scene.add( wireMesh ); then the textured mesh shows up. var wireMat = new THREE.MeshBasicMaterial( { color:0x00FFFF, wireframe: true, transparent: true, overdraw:true } ); var wireMesh = new THREE.Mesh(geometry, wireMat); scene.add( wireMesh ); var texture = texture = THREE.ImageUtils.loadTexture( 'textures/world.jpg' ); var imageMat = new THREE.MeshBasicMaterial( {color:0xffffff, map: texture } ); var fillMesh = new THREE.Mesh(geometry, imageMat); scene.add( fillMesh );

  • AS3: Weak Listener References Not Appropriate During Initialization?

    - by TheDarkIn1978
    as i currently understand, if an event listener is added to an object with useWeakReference set to true, then it is eligible for garbage collection and will be removed if and when the garbage collection does a sweep. public function myCustomSpriteClass() //constructor { this.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, mouseDownListener, false, 0, true); this.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP, mouseUpListener, false, 0, true); } in this case, is it not appropriate to initialize an object with weak references event listeners, incase the garbage collector does activate a sweep removing the objects event listeners since they were added during initialization of the object? in this case, would it only be appropriate to create a type of deallocate() method which removes the event listeners before the object is nullified?

  • Filter DataTable to show only the most recent transaction for each user

    - by Dan Neely
    I have a datatable that contains rows of transaction data for multiple users. Each row includes UserID and UserTransactionID columns. What would I use for as a RowFilter in the tables DefaultView to only show the row for each user that has the highest UserTransactionID value? sample data and results UserID UserTransactionID PassesFilter 1 1 False 1 2 False 1 3 True 2 1 True 3 1 False 3 2 True My data is orginating in a non-SQL source, the DataTable is being created to be bound to a DataGridView so I can't make changes to a query being used to get the data initially.

  • Create New Pseudo Variables in Squeak

    - by Artium
    Large part of squeak is implemented using squeak itself. I am curious to know if pseudo variables such as self or true are also implemented using squeak. If the answer is yes, where the implementation located? Specifically, assume that I want to add new subclass of "Boolean" called "Other" which will represent a third option: neither true nor false. I want that other, the only instance of Other to be similar to the true/false global singletons. Any ideas? Thank you.

  • Get In That DB! Parsing CSV Using Ruby...

    - by keruilin
    I have a CSV file formatted just like this: name,color,tasty,qty apple,red,true,3 orange,orange,false,4 pear,greenish-yellowish,true,1 As you can see, each column in the Ruby OO world represents a mix of types -- string, string, boolean, int. Now, ultimately, I want to parse each line in the file, determine the appropriate type, and insert that row into a database via a Rails migration. For ex: Fruit.create(:name => 'apple', :color => 'red', :tasty => true, :qty => 3) Help!

  • android ImageView scaling to fit another View

    - by Nick
    I have a relative layout that comprises a TextView and an ImageView: <RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools" android:layout_width="match_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content" <TextView android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:layout_alignParentLeft="true"/> <ImageView android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:layout_alignParentRight="true" android:adjustViewBounds="true"/> </RelativeLayout> It looks as follows: What I want to achieve is: It means that I want my ImageView to scale to fit the TextView by height. Can it be done in xml, without java-coding? If I could write something like android:layout_height="match_that_TextView" it would have solved this issue, but it's impossible I guess.

  • Default value list for pipeline param in Powershell

    - by fatcat1111
    I have a Powershell script that reads values off of the pipeline: PARAM ( [Parameter(ValueFromPipeline = $true)] $s ) PROCESS { echo "* $s" } Works just fine: PS my.ps1 foo * foo I would like the script to have list of default values, as the most common usage will always use the same values and storing them in the default will be most convenient. I did the usual assignment: PARAM ( [Parameter(ValueFromPipeline = $true)] $s = 'bar' ) PROCESS { echo "* $s" } Again, works just fine: PS my.ps1 * bar PS my.ps1 foo * foo However when setting the default to be a list, I get back something entirely reasonable but not at all what I want: PARAM ( [Parameter(ValueFromPipeline = $true)] $s = @('bar', 'bat', 'boy') ) PROCESS { echo "* $s" } Result: PS my.ps1 * bar bat boy I expected: PS my.ps1 * bar * bat * boy How can I get one call in to the Process loop for each default value? (This is somewhat different than getting one call in to Process, and wrapping the current body of in a big foreach loop over $s).

  • .net site all pages do a 302 redirect with AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport

    - by aron
    Hello, First let me say that I did see this article: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1045283/how-to-remove-aspxautodetectcookiesupport However it seems like it fixes the url issue, but not the 302 AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport issue. I've also read just about every other article on the web about this issue. I could really use some help here. This is my web.config <sessionState mode="InProc" cookieless="false" timeout="6600" /> <membership defaultProvider="MySqlMembershipProvider"> <providers> <clear /> <add connectionStringName="SimpleTickConnection" applicationName="TheaterSales" enablePasswordRetrieval="false" enablePasswordReset="true" requiresQuestionAndAnswer="false" requiresUniqueEmail="false" passwordFormat="Hashed" maxInvalidPasswordAttempts="15" minRequiredPasswordLength="7" minRequiredNonalphanumericCharacters="0" passwordAttemptWindow="10" passwordStrengthRegularExpression="" name="MySqlMembershipProvider" type="System.Web.Security.SqlMembershipProvider, System.Web, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a" /> </providers> </membership> <anonymousIdentification enabled="true" cookieless="AutoDetect" cookieProtection="All" cookieRequireSSL="false" cookieSlidingExpiration="true" /> Here's the entire web.config: http://support.simpletick.com/web-config-sample.txt

  • How does string comparison work in OCAML?

    - by Steve Rowe
    From what I can tell, = and != is supposed to work on strings in OCAML. I'm seeing strange results though which I would like to understand better. When I compare two strings with = I get the results I expect: # "steve" = "steve";; - : bool = true # "steve" = "rowe";; - : bool = false but when I try != I do not: # "steve" != "rowe";; - : bool = true # "steve" != "steve";; (* unexpected - shouldn't this be false? *) - : bool = true Can anyone explain? Is there a better way to do this?

  • python socket.recv/sendall call blocking

    - by fsm
    Hi everyone. This post is incorrectly tagged 'send' since I cannot create new tags. I have a very basic question about this simple echo server. Here are some code snippets. client while True: data = raw_input("Enter data: ") mySock.sendall(data) echoedData = mySock.recv(1024) if not echoedData: break print echoedData server while True: print "Waiting for connection" (clientSock, address) = serverSock.accept() print "Entering read loop" while True: print "Waiting for data" data = clientSock.recv(1024) if not data: break clientSock.send(data) clientSock.close() Now this works alright, except when the client sends an empty string (by hitting the return key in response to "enter data: "), in which case I see some deadlock-ish behavior. Now, what exactly happens when the user presses return on the client side? I can only imagine that the sendall call blocks waiting for some data to be added to the send buffer, causing the recv call to block in turn. What's going on here? Thanks for reading!

  • How to get predecessor and successors from an adjacency matrix

    - by NickTFried
    Hi I am am trying to complete an assignment, where it is ok to consult the online community. I have to create a graph class that ultimately can do Breadth First Search and Depth First Search. I have been able to implement those algorithms successfully however another requirement is to be able to get the successors and predecessors and detect if two vertices are either predecessors or successors for each other. I'm having trouble thinking of a way to do this. I will post my code below, if anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. import java.util.ArrayList; import java.util.Iterator; import java.util.LinkedList; import java.util.Queue; import java.util.Stack; public class Graph<T> { public Vertex<T> root; public ArrayList<Vertex<T>> vertices=new ArrayList<Vertex<T>>(); public int[][] adjMatrix; int size; private ArrayList<Vertex<T>> dfsArrList; private ArrayList<Vertex<T>> bfsArrList; public void setRootVertex(Vertex<T> n) { this.root=n; } public Vertex<T> getRootVertex() { return this.root; } public void addVertex(Vertex<T> n) { vertices.add(n); } public void removeVertex(int loc){ vertices.remove(loc); } public void addEdge(Vertex<T> start,Vertex<T> end) { if(adjMatrix==null) { size=vertices.size(); adjMatrix=new int[size][size]; } int startIndex=vertices.indexOf(start); int endIndex=vertices.indexOf(end); adjMatrix[startIndex][endIndex]=1; adjMatrix[endIndex][startIndex]=1; } public void removeEdge(Vertex<T> v1, Vertex<T> v2){ int startIndex=vertices.indexOf(v1); int endIndex=vertices.indexOf(v2); adjMatrix[startIndex][endIndex]=1; adjMatrix[endIndex][startIndex]=1; } public int countVertices(){ int ver = vertices.size(); return ver; } /* public boolean isPredecessor( Vertex<T> a, Vertex<T> b){ for() return true; }*/ /* public boolean isSuccessor( Vertex<T> a, Vertex<T> b){ for() return true; }*/ public void getSuccessors(Vertex<T> v1){ } public void getPredessors(Vertex<T> v1){ } private Vertex<T> getUnvisitedChildNode(Vertex<T> n) { int index=vertices.indexOf(n); int j=0; while(j<size) { if(adjMatrix[index][j]==1 && vertices.get(j).visited==false) { return vertices.get(j); } j++; } return null; } public Iterator<Vertex<T>> bfs() { Queue<Vertex<T>> q=new LinkedList<Vertex<T>>(); q.add(this.root); printVertex(this.root); root.visited=true; while(!q.isEmpty()) { Vertex<T> n=q.remove(); Vertex<T> child=null; while((child=getUnvisitedChildNode(n))!=null) { child.visited=true; bfsArrList.add(child); q.add(child); } } clearVertices(); return bfsArrList.iterator(); } public Iterator<Vertex<T>> dfs() { Stack<Vertex<T>> s=new Stack<Vertex<T>>(); s.push(this.root); root.visited=true; printVertex(root); while(!s.isEmpty()) { Vertex<T> n=s.peek(); Vertex<T> child=getUnvisitedChildNode(n); if(child!=null) { child.visited=true; dfsArrList.add(child); s.push(child); } else { s.pop(); } } clearVertices(); return dfsArrList.iterator(); } private void clearVertices() { int i=0; while(i<size) { Vertex<T> n=vertices.get(i); n.visited=false; i++; } } private void printVertex(Vertex<T> n) { System.out.print(n.label+" "); } }

  • Highlighting in Solr 1.4 - requireFieldMatch

    - by Mark Redding
    I have an object Title : foo Summary : foo bar Body : this is a published story about a foo and a bar All three are set up as fields with stored=true. The user searches across my system for the word "foo" I would like to highlight foo in all three places. The user searches for the word foo in the title "title:foo" I only want to highlight foo within the title. When I added hl.requireFieldMatch=true and hl.usePhraseHighlighter=true as part of my query over to SOLR I am unable to get the highlighting in all three places when doing a generic non fielded search. Is there a way to get both scenarios to work? I had these two items turned off, but I am adding in some fielded portions of the query that the user does not see which only display Published items for instance. the problem is (foo AND status:published) is causing the word published in the body to highlight when the user only searched for the word "foo".
