  • Dojo slider: update value dynamically

    - by xApple
    I am building an application where the user browses certain objects by scrolling and zooming. To change the zoom level I have successfully implemented a "dijit.form.HorizontalSlider" object. Every time the user changes the position of the silder, I can catch the "onChange" call and do something with that. However, the user can also zoom-in by double clicking inside the view zone, at which point the slider should change position automatically to reflect the new zoom level. My question is the following: what function or method should I call in my javascript to update the position of a dojo silder ? Here is the code that creates the silder object: var zoomSlider = new dijit.form.HorizontalSlider({ name: "zoom_slider", id: "zoom_slider", value: 0, minimum: 0, maximum: 19, discreteValues: 20, intermediateChanges: false, style: "width: 160px;", onChange: function(value) { brwsr.view.zoomTo(value); } }, "zoom_slider"); navbox_silder.appendChild(zoomSlider.domNode);

Here is my code <select ng-model="family.grade" > <option ng-repeat="option in options" value='{{option.id}}'>{{option.text}}</option> </select> Here are the options which i am using to populate my select var options = [{text:'Pre-K',id:'Pre-K'}, {text:'K',id:'K'}, {text:'1',id:'1'}, {text:'2',id:'2'}, {text:'3',id:'3'}, {text:'4',id:'4'}, {text:'5',id:'5'}, {text:'6',id:'6'}, {text:'7',id:'7'}, {text:'8',id:'8'}, {text:'+',id:'+'}]; Here is mu js code. $scope.$watch("family_member.date_of_birth" ,function(newValue, oldValue){ $scope.family.grade = "1" }) When ever value of family_member.date_of_birth changes it should set they value of select to 1. • Why doesnt doesnt HTML input of type file not work with Ajax update panel

    - by Sean P
I have a input of type file and when i try to do a Request.files when the input is wrapped in an update panel...it always returns an empty httpfilecollection. Why??? This is the codebehind: (At HttpContext.Current.Request.Files...its always 0 for the count.) Protected Sub btnSubmit_Click(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles btnSubmit.Click Dim uploads As HttpFileCollection uploads = HttpContext.Current.Request.Files For i As Integer = 0 To (uploads.Count - 1) If (uploads(i).ContentLength > 0) Then Dim c As String = System.IO.Path.GetFileName(uploads(i).FileName) Try uploads(i).SaveAs("C:\UploadedUserFiles\" + c) Span1.InnerHtml = "File Uploaded Sucessfully." Catch Exp As Exception Span1.InnerHtml = "Some Error occured." End Try End If Next i End Sub This example comes from the ASP.Net website...but my application is very similar.

  • Linq to Sql: Update Entity throug a new Object

    - by Dänu
Hey Guys I'd like to update an entity via linq, but since I edit the entity in a view after serializing it, I don't have direct access to the entity inside the data context. I could do it like this: entity.property1 = obj.property1; entity.property2 = obj.property2; ... thats not cool... not cool at all. Next thing I tried is to do it via .attach() like so: context.Table.attach(entity, obj); doesn't work either. So is there another option short of reflection?

  • Selenium fails to find component after dom update (reRender)

    - by Bozho
I'm testing a richfaces application with selenium. It works fine, unless I use reRender. (for those unfamiliar with richfaces - whenever an ajax request finished, parts of the DOM are updated/chagned/removed). So, after a reRender selenium (the IDE at least) fails to locate the elements which were within the reRendered area. Both FireBug and WebDeveloper locate the elements, and on "view source" the elements are there. So, is there a way to tell selenium to update its DOM "knowledge" with the latest changes? Firefox 3.5.6, latest version of Selenium IDE.

  • DataSet.HasChanges is true even immediately after TableAdapter.Update is run

    - by Nathan Koop
I've got some legacy dataset code which I'm updating. I'm attempting to determine if the dataset has changes to it so I can properly prompt for a save request. However myDataset.HasChanges() always returns true. In my save method I've edited the code to determine when the dataset get's changes and made the code like this: 1. myBindingSource.EndEdit() 2. myTableAdapter.Update(myDataSet) 3. myBindingSource.EndEdit() After line 1, - myDataSet.HasChanges = true (understandable) After line 2, - myDataSet.HasChanges = false (understandable) After line 3, - myDataSet.HasChanges = true I'm unsure of why this would occur in line 3, shouldn't this be false because I just ran the updates on the dataset?

  • HTA value update freezes when file copy starts

    - by Matt Hamende
Creating an HTA that will automate the installation of several applications it starts by checking for the existence of certain files then copies a large folder to local from a flash drive if it doesn't exist, I have a textbox I'm using to update the current status of the script, but it just seems to freeze and never updates, I haven't had any luck with any of the artificial sleep functions either. here's the segment If Not objFSO.FileExists(Office10Dir) Then MsgBox("Excel is missing") BasicTextBox.Value = "Office14 Not Detected, Copying Source Files to Local" Dim objFS, objFolder Dim OfficeTemp OfficeTemp = "C:\OfficeTemp" Set objFS = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject") Set objFolder = objFS.CreateFolder(OfficeTemp) objFS.CopyFolder "OfficeTemp", "C:\OfficeTemp" BasicTextBox.Value = "Local Temp Directory Created" ELSE MsgBox("Excel is Installed") END IF All i see is the "Local Temp Directory Created" message once file copy is complete

  • update element in knockout template which was changed by 3td party library

    - by yakov
I have 'div' element (recaptchaDiv) in knockout template which is not bound to any observable field: <div id="recaptchaDiv"></div> On the other hand, I update this 'div' by 3rd party library. In particular, this is google recaptcha. This is my code: Recaptcha.create("[my private key]", "recaptchaDiv", { theme: "clean", callback: Recaptcha.ToTest }); And it doesn't work (I see nothing). What I know: trying on FF console: $("#recaptchaDiv").html() - it shows the expected html code, I just can't see it in the browser What I tried: to move recaptchaDiv outside of the template and it works: I can see the captcha in the browser to bind recaptchaDiv on html property: in the template: <div id="recaptchaDiv" data-bind="html: recaptcha"></div> in the model: Recaptcha.create("[my private key]", "recaptchaDiv", { theme: "clean", callback: Recaptcha.ToTest }); recaptcha($("#recaptchaDiv").html()); and it doesn't work (replacing jquery on document.getElementById doesn't help) Any help will be very much appreciated!!! Thank you in advance.

  • App Engine: Launching a script upon update/run

    - by kovshenin
Hi all. I'm working with App Engine and I'm thinking about using the LESS CSS extension in my next project. There's no good LESS CSS library written in Python so I went on with the original Ruby one which works great and out of the box. I'd like App Engine to execute lessc ./templates/css/style.less before running the development server and before uploading the files to the cloud. What is the best way to automate this? I'm thinking: #run.sh: lessc ./templates/css/style.less .gae/dev_appserver.py --use_sqlite . And #deploy.sh lessc ./templates/css/style.less .gae/appcfg.py update . Am I on the correct path or is there a more elegant way of doing things, perhaps at the appcfg.py level? Thanks.

  • Hibernate session method to update object

    - by EugeneP
I need this roadmap of a Hibernate managed object instance. First, I create an instance with initial properties and persist this object in a db. Then session associated with this object is closed. But still, I serialize my object and on the next step deserialize it, invoke some setters, and again, I need to update what changed in a database. What methods of Hibernate session should I use? persist() or save() on the first step and saveOrUpdate() on the second? In fact I see that saveOrUpdate() can be used on each step. What would you recommend?

  • Drupal. Use AJAX to update view's content

    - by ozke
Hi, I've created a view in Drupal that retrieves a list of nodes. The display of this view is a page and it works perfectly well. It does even allow me to filter its content by argument. See the current's view configuration (click to enlarge): I want to use AJAX to use the filter (by parameter) functionality without reloading the page. I've enabled the "Use AJAX" option but I am not sure on how to continue. Any ideas on how to do that? By the way, I'm building my own theme (in case that changes anything). Thanks in advance Update: Basically, this view works when I browse through section/parameter1, section/parameter2... but I want to do the same with AJAX, without reloading the page. I hope is clearer now

  • Django: Update order attribute for objects in a queryset

    - by lazerscience
I'm having a attribute on my model to allow the user to order the objects. I have to update the element's order depending on a list, that contains the object's ids in the new order; right now I'm iterating over the whole queryset and set one objects after the other. What would be the easiest/fastest way to do the same with the whole queryset? def update_ordering(model, order): """ order is in the form [id,id,id,id] for example: [8,4,5,1,3] """ id_to_order = dict((order[i], i) for i in range(len(order))) for x in model.objects.all(): x.order = id_to_order[x.id] x.save()

  • WPF update binding in a background thread

    - by Mark
I have a control that has its data bound to a standard ObservableCollection, and I have a background task that calls a service to get more data. I want to, then, update my backing data behind my control, while displaying a "please wait" dialog, but when I add the new items to the collection, the UI thread locks up while it re-binds and updates my controls. Can I get around this so that my animations and stuff keep running on my "please wait" dialog? Or at least give the "appearance" to the user that its not locked up?

  • Why doesn't my binding update whenever EditingElementStyle AND ElementStyle are set to a custom styl

    - by Pakman
In my Visual Studio 2010 WPF application, I have the following (simplified) style: <Style x:Key="MyStyle" TargetType="{x:Type CheckBox}"> <Setter Property="Background" Value="Blue" /> </Style> If I use it as the ElementStyle AND EditingElementStyle in my DataGridCheckBoxColumn: <DataGridCheckBoxColumn Binding="{Binding IsEnabled}" ElementStyle="{StaticResource MyStyle}" EditingElementStyle="{StaticResource MyStyle}" /> Then my binding, IsEnabled, does not toggle when I check/uncheck a row's checkbox. If I remove either ElementStyle, EditingElementStyle, or both, then the binding updates no problem. Why is this?! Note: sometimes clicking around will produce an update to the binding (detected via debugging) - this is not the same as clicking another row to "commit" the value, though! Thanks!

  • Oracle (PL/SQL): Is UPDATE RETURNING concurrent?

    - by Jaap
I'm using table with a counter to ensure unique id's on a child element. I know it is usually better to use a sequence, but I can't use it because I have a lot of counters (a customer can create a couple of buckets and each of them needs to have their own counter, they have to start with 1 (it's a requirement, my customer needs "human readable" keys). I'm creating records (let's call them items) that have a prikey (bucket_id, num = counter). I need to guarantee that the bucket_id / num combination is unique (so using a sequence as prikey won't fix my problem). The creation of rows doesn't happen in pl/sql, so I need to claim the number (btw: it's not against the requirements to have gaps). My solution was: UPDATE bucket SET counter = counter + 1 WHERE id = param_id RETURNING counter INTO num_forprikey; PL/SQL returns var_num_forprikey so the item record can be created. Question: Will I always get unique num_forprikey even if the user concurrently asks for new items in a bucket?

  • using KVO to update an NSTableView filtered by an NSPredicate

    - by KingRufus
My UI is not updating when I expect it to. The application displays "projects" using a view similar to iTunes -- a source list on the left lets you filter a list (NSTableView) on the right. My filters update properly when they are examining any simple field (like name, a string), but not for arrays (like tags). I'm removing a tag from one of my objects (from an NSMutableArray field called "tags") and I expect it to disappear from the list because it no longer matches the predicate that is bound to my table's NSArrayController. ProjectBrowser.mm: self.filter = NSPredicate* srcPredicate = [NSPredicate predicateWithFormat:@"%@ IN %K", selectedTag, @"tags"]; Project.mm: [self willChangeValueForKey:@"tags"]; [tags removeAllObjects]; [self didChangeValueForKey:@"tags"]; I've also tried this, but the result is the same: [[self mutableArrayValueForKey:@"tags"] removeAllObjects]; Interface Builder setup: a ProjectBrowser object is the XIB's File Owner an NSArrayController (Project Controller) has its Content Array bound to "File's Owner".projects Project Controller's filter predicate is bound to "File's Owner".filter NSTableView's column is bound to "Project Controller".name

  • Integrate ClickOnce update in a setup

    - by Erick
As recent decision in my team we decided to deploy a software we develop for some time now in ClickOnce. Previously it was deployed with a merge module in a setup project. We had in mind to actually deploy the ClickOnce setup/updater in the web server setup. The problem here would not exactly to integrate it but to make sure to limit the human work to integrate it. Normally I guess it would be necessary to "add - file" and select the folder containing the setup.exe + publish.htm + application files + .application, but I fear that for each time we publish a new version to the hard drive we have to update the setup project as well. Would someone have some insight to help that ? (especially to not have to add the program_[version] folder inside application files that is created each time a new publish is done).

  • EntityManager does not update on flush()

    - by Sara
Java EJB's EntityManager does not update data from a Consumer. A Consumer logs into a shop, buys some stuff and wants to look at his shopping-history. Everything is displayed but his last purchase. If he logs out and in, it shows. I have used JPA to persist buys/purchases (that are mapped to the Consumer)to DB. It seems like purchases from this session can't be detected. Code: public Buys buyItem(Consumer c, int amount) { Buys b = new Buys(); b.setConsumerId(c); b.setContent("DVD"); b.setPrice(amount); em.persist(b); em.flush(); return b; } public Collection getAllBuysFromUser(Consumer consumer) { Collection collection = consumer.getBuysCollection(); return collection; } Help!? Flush does not do the trick...

  • $("body").scrollTop() doesn't update in safari

    - by Kristoffer Nolgren
I'm working on a website: http://beta.projektopia.se/ the body has several background-images that are updated on scroll like this: $(document).ready(function(){ $(document).scroll(function(){ var scrollfactor=$("body").scrollTop()*0.2; var centerscrollpos =scrollfactor+613; var docheight = $(document).height(); var windowheight = $(window).height(); var bottompos = (docheight-980)-((docheight-windowheight)*0.2)+scrollfactor; var scrollpos = 'center '+scrollfactor+'px,center '+bottompos+'px, center '+ centerscrollpos+'px,center 0px'; $("body").css("background-position", scrollpos); }); }); Lots of calculations, but the important thing is that a scrollpos is created that should change the position of the background when you scroll, to create a parallax-effect. It works great in chrome, but in firefox, the variable scrollfactor, that is suppose to get the current scroll-position, doesn't update. ps, some people have this issue due to lack of correct doctype. I believe i have declared it correctly like this: <!DOCTYPE html>

  • Update Store Logo Programmatically Magento

    - by Tegan Snyder
I've noticed that magento keeps the URL to the logo it uses for each store you setup in the "core_config_data" table. If I run this SQL: SELECT * FROM `core_config_data` WHERE path = 'design/header/logo_src' I get a list of stores and their associated logo. I also get a config_id and a scope_id. I'd like to be able to update these logo's programmatically behind the scenes but I can't figure out how to relate this table's data back to a store name. config_id and store_id got to somehow link back to another table that sets up the relationship. Magento's EAV model, ugh :) Any ideas?
