  • GROUP BY and SUM distinct date across 2 tables

    I'm not sure if this is possible in one mysql query so I might just combine the results via php. I have 2 tables: 'users' and 'billing' I'm trying to group summed activity for every date that is available in these two tables. 'users' is not historical data but 'billing' contains a record for each transaction. In this example I am showing a user's status which I'd like to sum for created date and deposit amounts that I would also like to sum by created date. I realize there is a bit of a disconnect between the data but I'd like to some all of it together and display it as seen below. This will show me an overview of all of the users by when they were created and what the current statuses are next to total transactions. I've tried UNION as well as LEFT JOIN but I can't seem to get either to work. Union example is pretty close but doesn't combine the dates into one row.     Assume I have an array a and an array b. Both have the same type and size but different values. Now I create 3 or so pointers that point to different elements in a, you could say a[ 0 ], a[ 4 ] and a[ 13 ]. Now if I overwrite a with b via a=b - Where will the pointers point? Do the pointers still point to their original positions in a but the values they point to are now those of b?

    I have a php file with an xml header and xml code, named test.php. How do I load this file as an xml? The following doesn't work: $xml = simplexml_load_file('test.php'); echo $xml; I just get a white page. The test file is saved as php, as it's dynamic. It's loading data from the tradedoubler api.     I'm trying to compile a program called hiQlab on OSX 10.8 g++ -g -O2 -I`echo /Users/.../Documents/hiQlab/hiqlab-2006-07-20/tools/`/lua/include -I`echo /Users/.../Documents/hiQlab/hiqlab-2006-07-20/tools/`/tolua++/include -c cscmatrix.cc cscmatrix.cc:13:12: fatal error: 'umfpack.h' file not found #include "umfpack.h" but I just installed SuiteSparse through macports which includes umfpack and umfpack.h is in fact present in default directory /opt/local/include/ do I need to add the path or something?     I'm in the process of building a Debian FreeRadius server that does 802.1x authentication for domain members. I would like to sign my radius server's SSL certificate (used for EAP-TLS) and leverage the domain's existing PKI. The radius server is joined to domain via Samba and has a machine account as displayed in Active Directory Users and Computers. The domain controller I'm trying to sign my radius server's key against does not have IIS installed so I can't use the preferred Certsrv webpage to generate the certificate. The MMC tools won't work as it can't access the certificate stores on the radius server because they don't exist. This leaves the certreq.exe utility.   • NetBackup with VSS and Instant Recovery - Failing to delete old snapshots

    We are attempting to implement Microsoft VSS for snap-shotting in our NetBackup 6.5.3.1 environment. The clients are both 32 & 64 bit Windows 2003 Server. Snapshot parameters are: Instant recovery is enabled Maximum snapshots = 1 Provider type = 1 (System) Snapshot attribute = 1 (Differential) All backups successfully complete, and VSS shadows are successfully created both for the snapshot backup and for the open files (shadow copy components). The Issue: NetBackup is not clearing or overwriting old snapshots with each successive backup. When we list shadows, and shadow storage, it is increasing and increasing. IT is not honouring the Maximum Snapshot setting. The Logs: The bpfis log doesn’t really appear to show any errors other than for methods which we are not employing (VxVM, Flashsnap, etc.). We will ultimately be using a HP EVA for the snapshots, but we want to ensure correct functioning at a VSS level before we go further.
