    I have a function that receives float** as an argument, and I tried to change it to take const float**. the compiler (g++) didn't like it and issued : invalid conversion from ‘float**’ to ‘const float**’ this makes no sense to me, I know (and verified) that I can pass char* to a function that takes const char*, so why not with const float** ?

    The escape_javascript method in ActionView escapes the apostrophe ' as backslash apostrophe \', which gives errors when parsing as JSON. For example, the message "I'm here" is valid JSON when printed as: {"message": "I'm here"} But, <%= escape_javascript("I'm here") %> outputs "I\'m here", resulting in invalid JSON: {"message": "I\'m here"} Is there a patch to fix this, or an alternate way to escape strings when printing to JSON?

    I am new to grep and awk - using Windows 7 (I downloaded grep and awk for windows from GnuWin). I am have having trouble running this script: grep -Fwf dictionary.txt frequency.txt | awk '{print $2 "," $1}' I get the error: awk: '{print awk: ^ invalid char ''' in expression I believe it might have something to do with having to use double quotes in Windows, but I tried all the combinations I can think of and still it doesn't work. Can anyone help? Thanks

    when using the jquery ui autocomplete, i would thought there would be an option to force only valid key entry based on the list. Is there anyway to not allow invalid keys so you can only enter valid items in the list? if my list has (csharp, java, python) i can start typing "abcds . ." and it lets me type it in. I want only valid entries to be allowed.

    I’m trying to write some encryption code that is passed through a Url. For the sake of the issue I’ve excluded the actual encryption of the data and just shown the code causing the problem. I take a salt value, convert it to a byte array and then convert that to a base64 string. This string I concatenate to another base64 string (which was previously a byte array). These two base64 strings are then Url encoded. Your application bundle's signature contains code signing entitlements that are not supported on MAC OS X. Specifically, key 'application-identifier' in '(My app name).app/Contents/MacOS/(My app name) is not supported. My XCode is 4.2 and I didn't check Enable Entitlements. Please help me!!!

The problem I'm having is that, due to a company policy, these errors must be displayed in the following format: [inputData] is not a valid [fieldName]. The field name is accessible by default in my message properties file (as the {0} argument), but I can't figure out a way to display the invalid user input. Is this possible?
