    Hello everyone i currently have this: import feedparser d = feedparser.parse('http://store.steampowered.com/feeds/news.xml') for i in range(10): print d.entries[i].title print d.entries[i].date How would i go about making it so that the title and date are on the same line? Also it doesn't need to print i just have that in there for testing, i would like to dump this output into a mysql db with the title and date, any help is greatly appreciated!

    I am designing a desktop application in C#, which needs to be connected to my online mysql database. I tried to give access in control panel a "%" which means from any IP, but it is not working. May be the hosting provider (bigrock) not allowing that. Alternatively, I am trying to write some code in online on PHP which will get the "sql" as parameter and returns the output as JSON format using json_encode. Is there any alternate methods which is better approach.

The game stores lots of information (about 300 rows) per website and spends a lot of time updating values within this MySQL database. Is it better (faster/efficient) to add a new table for every website or to just have 1000's of rows in one table and add a column "website_id" or similar?

    I am playing around with PHPFog and as a result I ended up with a MySql database. I am trying to figure out how to connect to it with a success message. PHPFog says use this: mysql_connect( $server = getenv('MYSQL_DB_HOST'), $username = getenv('MYSQL_USERNAME'), $password = getenv('MYSQL_PASSWORD')); mysql_select_db(getenv('MYSQL_DB_NAME')); So I basically plug my variables into the above?     I need to add a row to a MySQL database table but only if the row doesn't already exist. My database server just went down so I can't test this, but will this work as expected? INSERT INTO `blocks` (`block_file`,`settings_group`) VALUES ('announcements','announcement_settings') WHERE NOT EXISTS (SELECT `block_file`,`settings_group` FROM `blocks` WHERE `block_file`='announcements' AND `settings_group`='announcement_settings') It seems like sound logic.     I'm trying to pass a table name into my mysql stored procedure to use this sproc to select off of different tables but it's not working... this is what I"m trying: CREATE PROCEDURE `usp_SelectFromTables`( IN TableName varchar(100) ) BEGIN SELECT * FROM @TableName; END I've also tried it w/o the @ sign and that just tells me that TableName doesn't exist...which I know :)

Strings with in the brackets are not in the same order means. It will give above two values. How should i get only second value? Please help me, thanks.
