  • How to set value from other class

    Its said that property should not be "Set" only and it should be "Get" as well. What should i do if I need to set value to a variable from some other class? The will keep changing so I cannot pass it through constructor. Shall I create a function for this as shown below? class A { public void SetValue() { b = new B(); b.SetTest(10); } } class B { int test; public void SetTest(int value) { test = value; } } What are the other alternatives?

    i am trying to start a c++ exe file from c# by a click of a button , but it is throwing an Exception of type 'System.Exception' at process.start(); , although the file is correct . i have tried : private void button2_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { myProcess.StartInfo.UseShellExecute = false; myProcess.StartInfo.FileName = "E:\\tc\\5a.exe"; myProcess.StartInfo.CreateNoWindow = true; myProcess.Start(); } when i view details of this exception it shows "The parameter is incorrect" the file is present at e:\tc when i do same thing but in filename i keep "cmd.exe" it works . thank you in advance

    I already have an SQL command that will insert any string in the field. But it doesn't accept any string, giving me "No value given for one or more required parameters". But if my string is "Yes" or "No", it will update successfully. And in MS Access, will appear as 0 or -1 even though I set the field as text even in the beginning.     Hi, I am trying check if the inner html of the element is empty but I wanted to do the validation on the server side, I'm treating the html as a string. I wanted to do the checking on the server side. No need to worry about how to I managed to access the DOM I have already taken cared of it. Consider the htmlString as the Html string.   • XML Document straight to Stored Proc Mapping in NHibernate

    Hello. I'm building a mechanism to take XML data from a queue and call stored procs to save the data from the XML document directly to the database. This seems like something that NHibernate could address, but of course most of the information I find discusses going from objects to database instead of another data format (XML, in this case). Is there a way to use NHibernate in this fashion or am I barking up the wrong tree? Thanks.

I also want to send other string (count). So I'm trying to use header info along with json data. So I added this line: context.Response.Headers.Add("MaxCount",Convert.ToString(tempList.Count)); If this is right way to do it, how can I access it in my success function?

Example: <ul> <li>UserName is invalid</li> </ul> I have how ever need to render every item instead of list as custom div with additional html tags inside. such as short example below: <div> <div class="right"><a href="#closeError">Close error</div> <div class="right"><a href="#Update">Update Field</div> <label>Error:</label> Name on the page is invalid. </div> What is your opininon how to achieve this rendering? I have considered to create html helper where i will take ModelState and get all errors, but not sure this will work...

    Is the web sill 100% stateless? Before you start to say "of course it is, wtf" listen to what I'm saying here. I'm starting to wonder about this because web servers are definitely caching things, keeping connections open in connection pools, etc. So you can't really stay it's 100% stateless anymore.
