    I just went out and bought an iPod classic 160gb and I downloaded a bunch of iTunes U files on iTunes and I can't seems to find where they sync on the iPod. Any ideas here as I dont see any iTunes U menus on my iPod and I dont see them in the podcast list as well?

    I am trying to share my mobile broadband internet connection with other machines via wifi and am running windows 7. Users are able to connect to my machine, but not able to obtain an internet connection once they connect to me. Any ideas would be very helpful. Does Windows firewall block this?

  • Outlook uses > 700mb of RAM. How do I fix this?!

    I've been using outlook for years now, and I've never run into this problem before. Using Microsoft Outlook 2007, with only 1 email account, and no more than 100 emails in my inbox (though I have many many folders, with emails in them), Outlook can sit around and eventually get up to 700mb of ram usage. I've tried different types I've read, like compacting my folders, or not using Internet Calendars / RSS features, and right now I've even disabled Xobni...but still no effect. Any ideas?! Thanks!   • framebuffer not available. How to install the device /dev/fb/0 on Ubuntu?

    I am trying to run an application that uses framebuffer on 2.6.31-14-generic #48-Ubuntu. All need to do is to install a framebuffer device to get rid of the following error. /dev/fb/0: No such file or directory framebuffer not available. FATAL: no framebuffer available I googled through and found some resources indicating to do that on Grub2 I got nothing though I followed them seamlessly. Any ideas? Thanks

This time we get an error during the installation of client tools: There was an unexpected failure during the setup wizard Link Id 20476, message ID 50000 There are no errors in the event log. Anybody have any ideas what could be wrong?

    I want to open four vim files on the command line: vim file1 file2 file3 But I would like each file to be opened in a separate split: vim -c "split file1" -c "split file2" -c "split file3" file4 (The above splits the screen horizontally 4 times) Ideally what I would like to do is split the screen into 4 squares like: |-------|-------| | | | | | | |-------|-------| | | | | | | |-------|-------| I know how to do this once vim is open but I am unable to do this from the command line (using vs).     I want to define bash functions and aliases in my remote shell automatically on login. I can't put the definitions into .profile or similar because the users I log in as are often shared with others who use the same systems and I don't have control of this. What I'm trying to do is execute a few bash function definitions in the remote process and then continue as a login shell. I tried this but it did not work: cat ~/.profile - | ssh -tt user@host bash -l Any ideas?

    When I am pinging non-existing host like 'zzz' or 'qwerty' I am getting the following result Pinging zzz.kanisa.com [209.62.20.200] with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 209.62.20.200: bytes=32 time=60ms TTL=46 Reply from 209.62.20.200: bytes=32 time=66ms TTL=46 It looks like a virus to me. But I was unable to find a solution on web. Any ideas how to fix it?

  • Can't boot Windows 8

    When I try to boot Windows 8, it starts automatic repair process which fails to repair it. It logs stuff in c:\windows\system32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt. After one of attempted automatic repairs, last line in that file said that tm.sys and clfs.sys files are corrupt (current version says "Startup Repair has tried several times but still cannot determine the cause of the problem.") Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

I succeed installing it to local store and store of domain user with administrator privileges, but when I connect with local administrator and try to install it I get error: The import failed because the store was read-only, the store was full, or the store did not open correctly.   • Can't connect to windows via ssh

    I downloaded cygwin and ran ssh-host-config. I'm trying to connect using ssh -l micah myserver it then says micah@myserver's password: I enter the same password I use to log into windows and it says Permission Denied, please try again. After the third try it says: Permission denied (publickey,password,keyboard-interactive). What am I doing wrong? Any ideas? Do I need to generate an ssh key on the client and add it somewhere on the server?
