    Hi all, I've tried to create simple facebook app with iFrame,, but I always get nested iFrame on every I click link on my application, I already tried a solution from site http://railsrant.com/2009/10/14/creating-a-facebook-iframe-app-using-ruby-on-rails-facebooker/ it's work on Firefox and Chrome, but doesn't work at IE Any idea or suggestion for this?     Im trying to close a child window with javascript and in firefox everything works fine but in chrome the window doesnt close here is what im using $(document).ready(function() { if (window.opener && !window.opener.closed) window.opener.location = "http://www.website.com" window.close(); }); I tried a suggestion on google, but to no avail. Anyone having a similar issue or know of a work-around?

  • Is there a way that WCF service can know which machine the call comes from?

    Hi, I have a WCF service and without changing any code on the client side, is there a way that I can know the detail information of the caller, such as the MachineName, and ApplicationName? Basically, I cannot change the client code to pass those pieces of information over. I tried to use System.Web.HttpContext on the server side to track this information, but HttpContext.Current is NULL. I guess that is not the proper usage of it. Any suggestion? Thanks Sarah

    Hello. I have an application that sometimes causes exceptions. And I need to restart it if it crashed. But the problem is, that I have Windows 7 here and when application crashes, Windows shows me nice dialog box with a suggestion to close the application. But the application itself is still running until I click "Close". How to get rid of this Window and make application terminate immediately without any dialog boxes?

    I have texts that most of the time fit in a div, but sometimes it doesn't fit. There is no way to determine how many characters/words/paragraphs fit in the div, so I can't cut it off that way.
