    A couple of days ago , I was practicing and I wrote some triggers like these : create trigger trg_preventionDrop on all server for drop_database as print 'Can not Drop Database' rollback tran go create trigger trg_preventDeleteTable on database for drop_table as print 'you can not delete any table' rollback tran But the problem is I don't know where it has saved and How can I delete or edit those.     I have a SQL Server 2012 Sequence object: /****** Create Sequence Object ******/ CREATE SEQUENCE TestSeq START WITH 1 INCREMENT BY 1; I have a SP that runs some queries inside a transaction: BEGIN TRAN SELECT NEXT VALUE FOR dbo.TestSeq <here all the query update code......> ROLLBACK TRAN If the transaction fails all the updates are rolledback without problem but the Sequence is not rolled back I guess because Its out of the scope of the transaction. Any clue on way to handle that? Thanks

    I have SQL Server 2005 stored procedure. Someone one is calling my stored procedure within a transaction. In my stored proc I'm logging some information (insert into a table). When the higher level transaction rolls back it removes my insert. Is there anyway I can commit my insert and prevent the higher level rollback from removing my insert? Thanks

    What I'm trying to achieve is in the following infrastructure: Server A running ADDS, DNS, DHCP, NPS LAN -Computer Client I -Computer Client II Server A NIC 1 goes to LAN Server A NIC 2 goes to Internet Server A provides DHCP and Internet access for Computer Clients How do I connect to Computer Client I or II through RDP from outside the network? Even when using credentials from Computer Client I (which are not in ADDS) the connection still only goes to the server.

  • Why does my netbook have more USB controllers than ports?

    My netbook has three USB ports, but when I look in the device manager: Five are listed. Does this matter in the least (or, why are five listed)? The reason I bring this up: See, if I know that two of the devices in the device manager don't actually have physical ports, I can disable then and up that percentage on the other three, correct? I'm constantly being told that my devices can perform faster if I connect them to a USB 2.0 port, but this netbook is less than a year old. Thanks.

I have a Sql Server 2008 database that I need to be able to do full-text indexing/searching but when I try to setup my indices on the table, I get the following: I've tried running this stored procedure on my database and it's successful: EXEC sp_fulltext_database @action = 'enable' But I still get the above window and my full-text searches don't return any results when they should. What am I missing?

    On windows server 2003 when one user connects to the server via RDP the default printer of the server for her profile does not change to the redirected printer of the session. This only happens with the one user all the other users default printers defaults to their session printer automatically.   • How to "eject" non-existing USB drive from Windows 7 host?

    I use a USB key which is encrypted with BitLocker to store various data. I keep that key with me all the time. What happens all the time is that I send my home computer to hibernate without ejecting the USB key first. Then I unplug the key and take it with me to work. When I get home, I resume my Windows session and even though the key is not plugged in, the drive still appears as mounted on the system. I can also unmount the non-existing device with mountvol, but that only removes the drive letter. Windows will still think the device is plugged in. When I plug the key in, nothing happens. The device's class ID is listed in mountvol output, but the device is not listed in the Disk Management panel.

    I'm looking for an adapter that will let me use a USB 3 port as a Gigabit Ethernet port. This is proving surprisingly hard to find! Is there some reason why this product is either unavailable or very obscure? Is there an online shop (US/Canada) where I can buy such an item? Newegg, TigerDirect, NCIX, etc. do not seem to carry such an item. I find this surprising since it will provide at least double the bandwidth (possibly quadruple) compared to a USB 2 Ethernet adapter.

  • Why is my PC boot time slow when USB HDD attached?

    I have a USB Hard disk that I am using as a secondary drive just for extra storage. When this is attached and I start my PC the second screen says searching for mass storage dives for about 5 minutes before continuing on. The same happens when I have a USB pen disk attached upon boot. If I attach the device after the PC has loaded then it is very quick however plugging and unplugging is not ideal. Is there away to disable this in the BIOS as I cannot instantly see an option. On boot it informs me I have an American Trends AMIBIOS in the BIOS setup it states the version as v02.58 2006. This is running on a ASUS MV2 Motherboard.
