  In my windows installation PATH includes C:\Program Files\nodejs, where executable node.exe is. I'm able to launch node from the shell, as well as npm. I'd like new executables to be installed in C:\Program Files\nodejs as well, but it seems impossible to achieve. Setting NODE_PATH and NODE_MODULES variables doesn't change anything: things are still installed in %appdata%\npm by default. How can I change the global installation path?

• Visual Studio 2008 - Why do my windows keep rearranging themselves?

  Every so often (at least a couple of times a day), my VS2008 windows are rearranging themselves. Team/Solution/Server Explorer - They jump from the right sidebar down to the bottom, or suddenly become free-floating. Same with Errors/Pending Changes/etc. free-floating or suddenly gone, as if they've been closed. It is very strange behaviour. Has anyone else experienced it? Am I doing something silly that would account for this?

Every thing is working fine, if i open the application in the same machine where the Web application is hoste. if i access the same appication from a remote client IE, A blank box is coming with a small image in the corner.   I have installed both windows XP as well as Ubuntu 9.04 on my machine.I can choose between them using dual boot option at the startup.Up to this, it is fine. But unfortunately when my XP crashes, I need to install XP again.But when I do it,after installing XP successfully, dual boot option no longer appears at the startup. So the Ubuntu goes in vein. What is the problem here? How do I solve it?
