  • Trying to draw an image to a form, but not refreshing

    Hi, We are using graphics context of a form to draw an image. However it works fine on initial paint but the image is not being updated unless we set a breakpoint and run it in debug mode, stepping through each time. What is a good way of making a seperate thread to paint on to a form every second? Thanks.

    Hi, I'm having trouble understanding why I have to place the button triggering the getJSON method outside of the form for the request to work. If the button is placed within the form then the getJSON method returns no results. The code bascially makes a XHR request on clicking the Submit button, based on the value selected. Now I want to build a user friendly HTML page to test this service.     Hello, I'm setting a PHP session variable with a success message for a HTML form that I'm submitting. If there are no form errors, I redirect to the same page (using header()) and display the message from the session variable. Everything is fine until here, but if I access that page again after submission, the message is still there. Is it possible to make it appear only when I redirect after a successful submit?   • Inheriting a Base Form but Paste/Cut Commands Not Captured

    I created a base form that has a specific size and an icon as a base for all forms created in my project (to be consistent in looks). The problem is, for some reason if I add a Text box to the Child form, I can no longer execute shortcuts like Copy (CTRL+C) etc into the Textbox. What should I do to handle this OTHER THAN writing code to capture those on the KeyUp control? This is also the case for RichTextBox control as well. Thanks

    Has anyone used javascript/ajax to take data from one form field and put it into another? I'm trying to create a form that when one text input is filled out a second is auto-populated with the first letter of the word that is in the first text input. I'm thinking I can limit the second text input to one character to help get the desired result, but I'm not having luck finding the javascript to get the second text input to auto-populate from the first.     Im trying to fill a dropdownlist based on an other one: Departments and SubDepartments. i followed this link: http://www.sharepoint-tips.com/2007/01/infopath-form-services-implementing.html when i try to fill in a form it gives me an error: Request Failed (-- securityException) on this line: q.FileLocation = q.FileLocation + "&FilterField1=Department&FilterValue1=" + GetDepartmentValue(); and the second dropdownlist (subdepartments) is not filtered. Any idea what might be the problem?

  • [C#] Specifying startup window/form location on multiple displays

    I have two displays (two monitors) connected to my machine, and I noticed a strange thing happening today. I had an Explorer window open with my compiled exe on my primary display, and when I double-clicked it, it opened in the primary display (left monitor). However if I pressed enter to launch the executable, it started in the secondary display (right monitor). The window state of the initial form is maximized. Is there a way to tell C# to open the initial form in the primary display?
