  • CSS Parser - Insert mtimes

    - by brad
    What command line tool can I use to automatically insert mtimes into urls in my css files for the purposes of breaking the cache? /* before */ .example { background: url(example.jpg); } /* after */ .example { background: url(example.jpg?1271298451); } Also, I would like this tool to spit out the latest mtime as the css files mtime. (If the css file is still cached then the new urls will not get to the client.) In searching the web, I have found very few tools that can do this. I am even considering rolling my own, but have found very little in the way of css parsers that are actively maintained. A candidate should be: fast (I don't want to wait 30 seconds on deployment) command line accessible (something like "cat foo.css bar.css | cssmtime out.css") What I've found so Far yui compressor - initially I thought I would extend the yui compressor to do this, but found that it is implemented as a bunch of regex's and not a parser. csstidy - last release was in 2007 and development has been suspended, but does have an option for inserting mtimes (also written in php, something I have no experience in) cssutils - python sac implementation - seems to be actively maintained, but also seems like overkill for my needs. Also, written in python which I have experience with csspool - ruby sac implementation - I don't know much ruby, but would like to learn other sac implementations - There are several java implementations, and a c implementation neither of which I know much about What's your experience? Have you used any of these libraries? Was the experience positive? Would you recommend I go with them for my purposes?

  • Silverlight 4 seems like starving of memory

    - by Marco
    I have been playing a bit with Silverlight and try to port my Silverlight 3.0 application to Silverlight 4.0. My application loads different XAP files and upon a user request create an instance of a Xaml user control and adds it to the main container, in a sort of MEF approach in order I can have an extensible and pluggable application. The application is pretty huge and to keep acceptable the performances and the initial loading I have built up some helper classes to load in the background all pages and user controls that might be used later on. On Silverlight 3.0 everything was running smoothly without any problem so far. Switching to SL 4.0 I have noticed that when the process approaches to create the instances of the user controls the layout freezes unexpectedly for a minute and sometimes for more. Looking at the task manager the memory usage of IE jumps from 50MB to 400MB and sometimes up to 1.5 GB. If the process won't take that much the layout is rendered properly even though the memory usage is still extremely high. Otherwise everything crashes due to out of memory exception. Running the same application compiled in SL3, the memory used is about 200MB when all the usercontrols are loaded. Time spent to load the application in SL3 is about 10 seconds, while it takes up to 3 mins in SL4 There are no transparencies, no opacities set, no effects and animations in the layout. User controls are instantied on the fly and added or removed in the visual tree on purpose when the user switches from one screen to another. The resources are all cleaned properly when a usercontrol is removed from the visual tree to allow the GC to operate in the background. I may do something wrong but I could not figure out where exactly nail out the source of this problem. As far as I know there is no memory profiler in SL4 that can help me out to find where to look at. But again I could not be updated on new debugging tools available.

  • HTML & CSS Horizontal menu with items on left & right

    - by Fabian Vilers
    Hi all, I'm building an horizontal menu in html+css. The current result is fine, except I want to have some items on the left, and others on the right. I couldn't find usefull result on Google with such common keywords so I'm asking on SO. Here's my code so far: #menu { background-color: #383838; height: 65px; margin-bottom: 20px; } #menu ul li { float: left; } <div id="menu"> <ul> <li>Link 1</li> <li>Link 2</li> <li>Link 3</li> </ul> </div> I'd like to have Link 3 on the right, so the space between link 2 and 3 should be filled at maximum. I don't want a filler <li> tag, but instead apply a class to the last <li> on the left, or the first <li> on the right. Don't want to adjust the width as I've a :hover background color changing effet on the links. I suppose margin or padding should do the trick but I can't manage to find how. Any clue? Thanks in advance, Fabian

  • UILabel applying CGAffineTransformMakeRotation causing mysterious crash

    - by quantumpotato
    In -(id)initWithNibName:(NSString *)nibNameOrNil bundle:(NSBundle *)nibBundleOrNil parentController:(GameViewController *)myGameController{ Have a series of transforming labels like so: deg90 = 1.570796326794897; //....transforms background.center = CGPointMake(160,230); background.transform = CGAffineTransformMakeRotation(deg90); BetLabel.text = @"test"; BetLabel.transform = CGAffineTransformMakeRotation(deg90); That last line is crashing me with: 2010-04-13 21:04:47.858 Game[1204:207] * Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSRangeException', reason: '* -[NSCFArray objectAtIndex:]: index (1) beyond bounds (1)' 2010-04-13 21:04:47.893 Game[1204:207] Stack: ( 864992541, 859229716, (lots of numbers) But if I comment it out, I get the text changing fine. Uh oh, just did a test.. turns out the other transforms were on UIImageViews. Apparently rotating a label in this xib is causing the crash. But in another file the transforms are working fine: newprofileentry.transform = CGAffineTransformMakeRotation(1.570796326794897); playerb0.transform = CGAffineTransformMakeRotation(1.570796326794897); playerb1.transform = CGAffineTransformMakeRotation(1.570796326794897); Tried substituting deg90 with the full float value, still the same crash. Tried cleaning cache, restarting IB and Xcode, cleaning all targets. Program has been running fine until I just added these labels. Tried deleting the label, readding and reconnecting the Outlet, too. Thanks for reading, hope someone has an idea about this. Cheers!

  • In Firefox 2, usage of overflow:hidden makes other divs overlap current div

    - by Shankar
    Hi, When I use overflow:hidden for div which is positioned absolute (for menu), other div overlaps. Here is the code. It works fine in FF3. Any help appreciated. Please note that html should be as it is. Also if you can provide solution, just by changing styles of menu div (the div which contains menu text) it is more helpful for me. Thanks in advance Here is the code: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html> <head> <title>Title of the document</title> </head> <body> <div style="position:relative"> <div> <div style="height:20px;overflow:hidden"> <div style="position:absolute;width:200px;height:100px;top:0px;background-color:black;z-index:1">menu</div> </div> </div> <div style="position:relative;height:200px;background-color:gray;"></div> </div> </body> </html>

  • focusable row inside table android

    - by Nikitas
    Hello guys, i have in xml a ScrollView which includes one TableLayout. My question is if it's possible to have a focusable row every time i click on it. Here is my xml code: <ScrollView android:orientation="vertical" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content"> <TableLayout android:id="@+id/table2" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" > <TableRow> <RelativeLayout android:id="@+id/rowlayout" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:background="@drawable/rowbackground2" > <ImageView android:id="@+id/icon" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:src="@drawable/icon_code_contact" android:padding="7dip" android:layout_alignParentLeft="true" /> <TextView android:id="@+id/contacts" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:textStyle="bold" android:text="Contacts" android:textColor="#000" android:textSize="18dip" android:layout_toRightOf="@id/icon" android:paddingTop="10dip" /> </RelativeLayout> </TableRow> <TableRow> <Button android:id="@+id/contacts_button" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:background="@drawable/contact_button" /> </TableRow> I have already tried the "focusable="true"" and "focusableInTouchMode="true"" but nothing happened.. thanks in advance

  • jQuery Animate Inconsistencies between Browsers

    - by silent1mezzo
    I'm trying to figure out why this works in FireFox, Chrome but not in IE and not properly in Safari and Opera (you can view it working at http://41six.com/about/) HTML: <div id="menu"> <ul> <li> <a href="/" class="home" title="Home" alt="fortyonesix">&nbsp;</a> <div id='home-hover'>Home Page</div> </li> </ul> </div> CSS: #menu .home { display:block; height:24px; width:24px; background-image: url('../images/Home.png'); } #home-hover { position:fixed; padding: 3px 0 3px 10px; left:40px; top:125px; width: 100px; height: 20px; background-color:#000; color: #fff; z-index:9999; opacity: .9; filter: alpha(opacity=90); -ms-filter:"progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Alpha(Opacity=90)"; -moz-border-radius-topright: 5px; -webkit-border-top-right-radius: 5px; -moz-border-radius-bottomright: 5px; -webkit-border-top-bottom-radius: 5px; display:none; } JQuery: $('.home').hover(function() { $('#home-hover').animate({width:'toggle'},200); }, function() { $('#home-hover').animate({width:'toggle'},200); }); It's definitely not pretty but I'm not sure why its not working for Safari, Opera and IE

  • Empty UIView with minimal drawRect: overhead

    - by Benjohn Barnes
    Hi, I have an application that has three nested views that are mechanically important, but have no visual elements: A vanila UIView that doesn't have any content of its own, and is simply used as a host for CALayers. A UIScrollView (that is queried for it's origin and used to position CALayers in 3d: I really only use this view to faithfully replicate the scroll view's "mechanics"), The scroll view's contents: a UIView subclass. It simply picks up touch events and passes them to a delegate - all that is important are its UIResponder machinery. The UIView hosting CALayers is a sibling of a UIImageView that is a background image over which the CALayers are drawn. I'd really like to ensure that none of these empty UIViews have any drawing or compositing overhead (in time, or storage) associated with them, or if that's not possible, to get this overhead as small as possible, and to understand it so that I can perhaps decide if I should try a different approach. In interface builder, I've set all of the views to not clear their context before drawing. I've not set them to be opaque though, because they definitely are not opaque - they are completely transparent. I've found that I need to give the scroll view contents a transparent clear colour (again in IB by setting the background colour's opacity to zero), and this suggests that it is being drawn, which I don't want. So, in short, I've not got much idea of what is and isn't getting drawn (anyone know of a tool like Quartz Debug for iPhone / simulator?), or how to go about stopping things from getting drawn. Advice would be very welcome! Thanks, Benjohn

  • CSS layout - Aligning two divs side by side

    - by Ronnie
    Hello, I have a small problem. I am trying to align two divs side by side using CSS, however, I would like the center div to be positioned horizontally central in the page, I achieved this by using: #page-wrap { margin 0 auto; } Thats worked fine. The second div I would like positioned to the left side of the central page wrap but I can't manage to do this using floats although I'm sure it is possible. Maybe its best to show the example of what I am describing: I would like to push the red div up alongside the white div. Here is my current CSS concerning these two divs, sidebar being the red div and page-wrap being the white div: #sidebar { width: 200px; height: 400px; background: red; float: left; } #page-wrap { margin: 0 auto; width: 600px; background: #ffffff; height: 400px; } Any help would be appreciated.

  • Playing a .TS file on iOS

    - by Jonathan Grynspan
    We're working with some hardware that produces files in the .TS format, and we'd like to play them on an iOS device. (The files are internally consistent with what iOS supports--MPEG-4 video, AAC audio.) We've been investigating three options so far: Roll our own integrated HTTP Live Streaming server and serve up a faux M3U8 playlist from within the app. This... doesn't seem to want to play nice, and we've had mixed luck actually getting the .TS files to play on devices. Unwrap the MPEG-4 and AAC data from the TS file and re-wrap it as MP4. This, I'm told, is exceedingly difficult to do, and I haven't found anything useful online that could shed light on how to do it. We've got code in the pipeline to do it but it won't be ready until long after we need it. If we could do it, I could easily subclass NSURLProtocol and have it working within a matter of hours minutes. Use FFmpeg to implement option #2. FFmpeg seems like a possible solution but it isn't configured to build for iOS and I don't have the background to get it working (whereas the rest of our engineers don't have the Apple background needed.) I think #2 is our best bet, but as I don't know the ins and outs of MPEG-2 TS and MPEG-4, I don't have the ability to put it together myself. Does anybody have any insight into this problem? Perhaps some experience playing local TS files on iOS, or some tips on converting from TS to MP4?

  • WPF image cropping

    - by Califer
    I'm loading layers of images to make a single image. I'm currently stacking them all onto a canvas. I've got it set up so the user can specify the final dimensions of the single image, but even when I change the size of the canvas the images retain their original sizes. I tried to modify the image size as I was loading them in, but the sizes were NaN and the Actual Sizes were 0 so I couldn't change them there. I'm starting to think that canvas might not be the way to go. Any suggestions to how I could clip images to fit a specific size? canvas1.Children.Clear(); int totalImages = Window1.GetNumberOfImages(); if (drawBackground) canvas1.Background = new SolidColorBrush(Color.FromArgb(a,r,g,b)); else canvas1.Background = new SolidColorBrush(Color.FromArgb(0, 0, 0, 0)); for (int i = 0; i < totalImages; i++) { Image image = new Image(); image.Source = Window1.GetNextImage(i); canvas1.Children.Add(image); }

  • How to modify the style of jQuery DatePicker's disabled dates?

    - by Clay
    Given this page: http://jqueryui.com/demos/datepicker/#min-max And viewing its source: http://jqueryui.com/themeroller/css/parseTheme.css.php I can change the following line (using Chrome's inspect element feature) and see those changes reflected: .ui-state-disabled, .ui-widget-content .ui-state-disabled { opacity: .35; filter:Alpha(Opacity=35); background-image: none; } However, if I try to override my own test page with something like... .ui-state-disabled, .ui-widget-content .ui-state-disabled { opacity: .99 !important; filter:Alpha(Opacity=99) !important; background-image: none !important; color:Red !important; } ...I do not see my changes reflected in the calendar. I can make other changes in my own test page and those are reflected for other classes in the datepicker. So, I'm not having any kind of path issue to the .js or .css files. What am I missing here? UPDATE/SOLUTION Firebug to the rescue...this took care of my styling needs: .ui-datepicker-week-end{color: #c0c0c0 !important;} div#ui-datepicker-div.ui-datepicker{color: #c0c0c0;} div#ui-datepicker-div.ui-datepicker:hover{cursor: default important;} .ui-datepicker-calendar th{color: #222222 !important;}

  • Fancybox close button not showing when using different template

    - by VeraG
    I have a page where I need to use 2 different FancyBox styles for different elements on the page. To achieve that, I added tpl option and modified stylesheet accordingly. Here is what I have: $(document).ready(function() { $(".login").fancybox({ closeClick : false, closeBtn : true, tpl: { wrap : '<div class="fancybox-wrap1" tabIndex="-1"><div class="fancybox-skin1"><div class="fancybox-outer"><div class="fancybox-inner"></div></div></div></div>', closeBtn : '<a title="Close" class="fancybox-item fancybox-close" href="javascript:;"></a>' } }); }); In my CSS, I added new styles for .fancybox-wrap1 and .fancybox-skin1. Styles work great BUT on the FancyBox with modified template "close" button completly disappears! I tried both adding and deleting closeBtn from tpl but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I also have a demo here (eventually I will need different background-images for FancyBox, not just background-color, that's why I'm doing it). What am I doing wrong? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

  • Inserting new <TD> elements into a table row.

    - by Hunter S. Smythe
    I have created a small application written in XHTML, JavaScript/JQuery and PHP. The PHP reads and writes to a small SQLite database. How would i go about inserting cells into a pre-scripted table. The cells would need to be configured using some information from my database. For example, below are two cells with their data retrieved from my database: Cell One Starts: 120px; Finishes: 180px; Background: Blue; Cell Two Starts: 240px; Finishes: 300px; Background: Green; On my table row, it is 500px in width. How would I insert the cells above into the row. In this example, the first cell would start 120px into the row and have a width of 180px. The second cell would start 240px into the row and have a width of 300px. I just cant seem to work out a way of doing this, any ideas would be very helpful. Thank you for any input, all is appreciated. Hunter.

  • sIFR - getting a:hover to work in navigation list

    - by HudRom
    Hi, I am currently struggling with sIFR and a:hover. My problem site is hosted at http://irene.huditsch.info I have the following HTML code: <body id="irene-huditsch-info"> <div id="header"> <h1>Irene Huditsch</h1> <div id="top-nav"> <ul> <li id="impressum"> <a href="impressum.html" rel="index">Impressum</a> </li> <li id="kontakt"> <a href="kontakt.html">Kontakt</a> </li> </ul> </div> ... My sIFR-config.js looks like: sIFR.replace(braganza, { selector: 'div#top-nav a', css: '.sIFR-root { background-color: transparent; color: #FFFFFF; line-height: 13px; font-size: 11px; text-decoration: underline; cursor: pointer; } .sIFR-root:hover { color: #592b02; }', wmode: 'transparent' }); But the hover doesn't take effect. I tried different solution with no success either. When I write sIFR.replace(braganza, { selector: 'div#top-nav li', css: 'a { background-color: transparent; color: #FFFFFF; line-height: 13px; font-size: 11px; text-decoration: underline; cursor: pointer; } a:hover { color: #592b02; }', wmode: 'transparent' }); (which seems logical to me), the list items are not rendered at all. Could you please give me an advice how to do it correctly with the structure given? Thanks, Roman

  • ContentControl + RenderTargetBitmap + empty image

    - by Kellls
    Im trying to create some chart images without ever displaying those charts on the screen. I'v been at this for quite a while and tried a lot of different things but nothing seems to work. The code works perfectly if I display the chart in a window first, but if I don't display it in a window, the bitmap is just white with a black border (no idea why). I have tried adding the chart to a border before rendering and giving the border a green borderBrush. In the bitmap, I see the green borderBrush then the black border and white background but no chart. I don't know where the black border is coming from as the chart is not contained in a black border. I have tried adding the chart to a window without calling window.Show() and again just the black boarder and white background. However if I call window.Show() the bitmap contains the chart. I have tried using a drawingVisual as explained here, same result. Here is the code (not including adding the element to a border or window): private static BitmapSource CreateElementScreenshot(FrameworkElement element, int dpi) { if (!element.IsMeasureValid) { Size size = new Size(element.Width, element.Height); element.Measure(size); element.Arrange(new Rect(size)); } element.UpdateLayout(); var scale = dpi/96.0; var renderTargetBitmap = new RenderTargetBitmap ( (int)(scale * element.RenderSize.Width),(int)(scale * element.RenderSize.Height),dpi,dpi,PixelFormats.Default ); // this is waiting for dispatcher to perform measure, arrange and render passes element.Dispatcher.Invoke(((Action)(() => renderTargetBitmap.Render(element))), DispatcherPriority.Render); return renderTargetBitmap; } Note: The chart is a ContentControl. Is there anyway I can get the chart to render without displaying it in a window first?

  • CSS: Margin-top when parent's got no border

    - by Manny
    Hi, As you can see in this picture, I've got an orange div inside a green div with no top border. The orange div has a 30px top margin, but it's also pushing the green div down. Of course, adding a top border will fix the issue, but I need the green div to be top borderless. What could I do? html: <div class="header">Top</div> <div class="body"> <div class="container">Box</div> </div> <div class="foot">Bottom</div> css: .body { border: 1px solid black; border-top: none; border-bottom: none; width: 120px; height: 112px; background-color: lightgreen; } .body .container { background-color: orange; height: 50px; width: 50%; margin-top: 30px; } Thanks

  • How to customize the content of each page using Page Control and UIScrollView?

    - by viper15
    I have problem with customizing each page using pagecontrol and UIScrollView. I'm customizing Page Control from Apple. Basically I would like to have each page different with text and image alternately on different page. Page 1 will have all text, Page 2 will have just images, Page 3 will have all text and goes on. This is original code: // Set the label and background color when the view has finished loading. - (void)viewDidLoad { pageNumberLabel.text = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"Page %d", pageNumber + 1]; self.view.backgroundColor = [MyViewController pageControlColorWithIndex:pageNumber]; } As you can see, this code shows only Page 1, Page 2 etc as you scroll right. I tried to put in this new code but that didn't make any difference. There's no error. I know this is pretty simple code. I don't why it doesn't work. I declare pageText as UILabel. // Set the label and background color when the view has finished loading. - (void)viewDidLoad { pageNumberLabel.text = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"Page %d", pageNumber + 1]; self.view.backgroundColor = [MyViewController pageControlColorWithIndex:pageNumber]; if (pageNumber == 1) { pageText.text = @"Text in page 1"; } if (pageNumber == 2) { pageText.text = @"Image in page 2"; } if (pageNumber == 3) { pageText.text = @"Text in page 3"; } } I don't know why it doesn't work. Also if you have better way to do it, let me know. Thanks.

  • How can Safari be prevented from scrolling an overflow:hidden iframe?

    - by Alexander Ljungberg
    With Safari you can disable most iframe scrolling by setting style="overflow: hidden;" on the iframe. However, if you click in the iframe and move the mouse the content scrolls anyhow. Example: <html> <body> <iframe style="width: 100%; height:100px; overflow: hidden;" scrolling="no" src="scrollcontent.html"> </iframe> </body> </html> scrollcontent.html: <html scroll="no" style="overflow:hidden;"> <body scroll="no" style="overflow:hidden;"> <div style="background-color: green; height:100px;">A</div> <div style="background-color: red; height:100px;">B</div> </body> </html> In this example, the iframe should only show a green area and it should be impossible to reveal the red area. This is mostly true: there is no scrollbar, the mouse wheel doesn't do anything and neither do the arrow keys. However click and drag still scrolls the view. This is particularly noticeable when selecting text. Does anyone know any trick to stop Safari from doing this?

I could come up with the following code: HTML: <div id="Options"> <input id="choice_1" type="checkbox" name="choice_1" value="Option1"><label for="choice_1">Option1</label> <input id="choice_2" type="checkbox" name="choice_2" value="Option2"><label for="choice_2">Option2</label> <input id="choice_3" type="checkbox" name="choice_3" value="Option3"><label for="choice_3">Option3</label> .. ..till choice_10 </div> IN JS: //Have to select checkboxes with "Value" in choicesToSelect and give a selection //effect to its label var choicesToSelect={"Option1","Option9","Option3","Option4","Option2"}; selectHighlightCheckBoxes(choicesToSelect); function selectHighlightCheckBoxes(choices){ $.each( choices, function(intIndex, objValue) { //select based on id or value or some criteria var option = $("#Options :input[value=" + objValue + "]") ; if ($(option).is("input[type='radio']") || $(option).is("input[type='checkbox']")) { $(option).attr('checked', true); $(option).next('label:first').css({ 'border': '1px solid #FF0000', 'background-color': '#BEF781', 'font-weight': 'bolder' }); } else if ($(option).is("input[type='text']")) { $(option).css({ 'border': '1px solid #FF0000', 'background-color': '#BEF781', 'font-weight': 'bolder' }); } else { } } ); } But i want to also add effect to the rest (not in choicesToSelect array) also. (may be red color to those not in choiceToSelect) Can this be done in the one traversal/loop? Optimally? or Better way?

  • Why doesn't this jQuery snippet work in IE8 like it does in Chrome/Firefox (live demo included)?

    - by Siracuse
    I asked for help earlier on Stackoverflow involving highlighting spans with the same Class when a mouse hovers over any Span with that same Class. It is working great: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2709686/how-can-i-add-a-border-to-all-the-elements-that-share-a-class-when-the-mouse-has $('span[class]').hover( function() { $('.' + $(this).attr('class')).css('background-color','green'); }, function() { $('.' + $(this).attr('class')).css('background-color','yellow'); } ) Here is an example of it in usage: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/638285/0utput.html However, it doesn't appear to work properly in IE8, while it DOES work in Chrome/Firefox. Here is a screenshot of it in IE8, with my mouse hovered over the " min) { min" section in the middle. As you can see, it highlighted the span that the mouse is hovering over perfectly fine. However, it has also highlighted some random spans above and below it that don't have the same class! Only the span's with the same Class as the one where the mouse is over should be highlighted green. In this screenshot, only that middle green section should be green. Here is a screenshot of it working properly in Firefox/Chrome with my mouse in the exact same position: This screenshot is correct as the span that the mouse is over (the green section) is the only one in this section that shares that class. Why is IE8 randomly green-highlighting spans when it shouldn't be (they don't share the same class) using my little jQuery snippet? Again, if you want to see it live I have it here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/638285/0utput.html

  • auto expand div height

    - by Geln
    <html><head><title>Test</title> <style> .main{width:600px;border:1px solid red; } .main .left{background:lightblue; width:100px;clear:both; float:left;} .main .right{margin-left:100px;background:lightyellow; } </style> </head><body> <div class="main"> <div class="left"> title </div> <div class="right"> <div id="item">item</div> <div id="item">item</div> <div id="item">item</div> <div id="item">item</div> <div id="item">item</div> <div id="item">item</div> <div id="item">item</div> </div> </div> </body></html> How to change the CSS to make the page display like the dialog shows? PS,I think it's a way that to make the "left" div's height auto expand when the height of the "right" div or parent div expand, but I don't know how.

  • Conflict between two Javascripts (MailChimp validation etc. scripts & jQuery hSlides.js)

    - by Brian
    I have two scripts running on the same page, one is the jQuery.hSlides.js script http://www.jesuscarrera.info/demos/hslides/ and the other is a custom script that is used for MailChimp list signup integration. The hSlides panel can be seen in effect here: http://theatricalbellydance.com. I've turned off the MailChimp script because it was conflicting with the hSlides script, causing it not to to fail completely (as seen here http://theatricalbellydance.com/home2/). Can someone tell me what could be done to the hSlides script to stop the conflict with the MailChimp script? The MailChimp Script var fnames = new Array(); var ftypes = new Array(); fnames[0] = 'EMAIL'; ftypes[0] = 'email'; fnames[3] = 'MMERGE3'; ftypes[3] = 'text'; fnames[1] = 'FNAME'; ftypes[1] = 'text'; fnames[2] = 'LNAME';
