I 'm implementing my version of "ShareThis" in my webpage.
How can i get the client's browser displayed address with Asp.NET?
I am little confused with this one since the url to share...
1) is created with URL rewriting
2) contains Greek characters.
P.S. The client url is like example.com/e??????a/ß?ß??a
I'm trying to use GData to retrieve the email address, real name, and profile URL of the user that just authorized my site using Google OAuth.
We know how to request it using Google's OpenID flow, but the OpenID flow has the severe limitation that we have to ask for a Google Apps user's domain before we know where to send them to log in. At least using OAuth (or even AuthSub), the user gets prompted for which of their Google accounts to log in.
I have Microsoft SQL Server 2008 installed. It appears in the add/remove programs window.
How can I create/delete/alter tables and find the address of my server if I don't have Management Studio installed?
I'd like to create the tables and such directly in Visual Studio 2010 premium.
IAPX88 can deal with 1 mega byte memory(20 bit addressing), now my question is how we make a 20 bit address by using two 16 bit registers.please give an example.
I would like to retrieve the ethernet address of the network interface that is used to access a particular website.
How can this be done in Java?
Solution Note that the accepted solution of getHardwareAddress is only available in Java 6. There does not seem to be a solution for Java 5 aside from executing i(f|p)confing.

Valgrind tells me function xxx allocated memory which was not freed. Fine. It's proving more difficult than usual to trace however.
To this end I have created numerous:
#ifdef DEBUG
fprintf(stderr, "something happening:%lx\n", (unsigned long)ptr);
#endif
So I just need to match these ptr addresses that are displayed with the addresses of non-freed memory.
How can I get valgrind to tell me the address of each non-freed block of memory?
In the App Engine docs, a JID is defined like this:
An application can send and receive
messages using several kinds of
addresses, or "JIDs."
On Wikipedia, however, a JID is defined like this:
Every user on the (XMPP) network has a unique
Jabber ID (usually abbreviated as
JID).
So, a JID is both a user identifier and an application address?

This question is related to Tools for matching name/address data. There is a number commercial tools provided by SAS, Oracle, Microsoft, etc., that allow to de-duplicate or merging names of individuals or companies coming from multiple sources.
However, after reading the answers to the question mentioned before, I wondered why a seemingly interesting problem didn't receive any answers mentioning open source projects that could tackle the problem.
Are you aware of any open source projects or algorithms to implement the so called "record linking", "record merging", or "clustering"?
I have a django html form for address information. There is standard street, city, state/province, postal code, country fields. The country field is a drop down list. Here is a typical sequence of events that occur :
Host device opens a service ( Host device accepts and opens all incoming connections)
A remote device connects to host device.
Now, we have a slave connection open at host device.
At host device, I want to know the bluetooth address of remote device.
I can always pass it as data from remote to host device, but
can I extract it from connection object somehow without any data transfer?
Thanks in advance...
