  • Setting up 2 or more Repositories?

    My question is: can i have 2 repositories without losing my original repository. Lets say i want the the eclair source repository repo init -u git://android.git.kernel.org/platform/manifest.git -b eclair (already synced and working) and i would also like to sync with cyanogens repository repo init -u git://github.com/cyanogen/android.git -b eclair All i basically want to do is have both repositories without altering or messing up the original. thanks.

    I have used tinybrowser with tiny mce as a plugin (My panel is php based). When uploading, there is link like this: www.****.com/dashboard/tiny_mce/plugins/tinybrowser/tinybrowser.php?type=image This link can open in all browser without permission. What is the solution in this case? Could I use admin panel's session control in tinyMce plugins?? Thanks in advance

    In the Android open-source qemu code I ran across this line of code: machine->max_cpus = machine->max_cpus ?: 1; /* Default to UP */ It this just a confusing way of saying: if (machine->max_cpus) { ; //do nothing } else { machine->max_cpus = 1; } If so, wouldn't it be clearer as: if (machine->max_cpus == 0) machine->max_cpus = 1; Interestingly, this compiles and works fine with gcc, but doesn't compile on http://www.comeaucomputing.com/tryitout/ .

    Heya, I have just implemented the excellent jQuery UI autocomplete. http://jqueryui.com/demos/autocomplete/ There is a strange bug in IE 8 (and maybe other versions). When you select an item from the box of suggestions in IE 8 the cursor moves to the begining of the textbox before the suggested word which has just been inserted. Firefox put the cursor after the inserted word. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Regards Steve

    When I use the annotation: @XmlRootElement(name="RootElement", namespace="namespace") class RootElement { to create xml file from java, it creates the root element as: <ns2:RootElement xmlns:ns2="namespace"> but I wanted to create without the "ns2", like: <RootElement xmlns="namespace"> Any idea how to fix it? The url contains JSON this is my code: xyz = null $.get('http://www.someurl.com/123=json', function(data) { var xyz = data.positions[0].latitude; }); alert(xyz); //some more code using xyz variable I know that xyz will alert a null result because the $.get is asychronous. So is there any way I can use the xyz outside this get function? Thank you

    I'm having trouble adding a button to a layout that I've created in XML. I've tried creating a LinearLayout view, then create a Button and add it to this view but I just get NullPointerExceptions.. Any help would be appreciated.   • jQuery image loop not displaying any images

    I'm trying to create a very basic image gallery in jQuery. The goal is to have 3 images fade in and out in a sequential order. So image 1 is displayed, fades to image 2 etc. then the whole thing loops again. The result of this code is a blank, white page. I know some of the HTML is being compiled because the enormous 2848x2136 div creates scroll bars on the browser. If anyone could help me out, that would be greatly appreciated. Obviously I'm relatively new to web programming and would love some insight into why this isn't working. Thanks!
