    Hi, It is probably pretty simple but I cannot figure it out: Say I have tables A and B both with the same columns. I need to do SELECT * FROM A,B without having results merged into one row. I.e. when each table has 2 rows, I need the result to have 4 rows. EDIT: I know about JOIN but dont know how to join the tables without predicate. I need merge them. Thanks

    in my .htaccess i've got these lines: RewriteEngine on RewriteCond $1 !^(index\.php|images|robots\.txt) RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php/$1 [L] i tried to include js files with this line: <script type="text/javascript" src="system/application/media/js/jquery/jquery.js"></script> but it doesnt work since the rules dont let it pass. it works when i turn the rewrite engine off. how can i change the rules so it allows url with a /js, /css and /img? thanks

    I am trying to parse Youtube Gdata to see if video with given id exists. But there isn't normal tag but with namespace. On the link http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/videos?q=KgfdlZuVz7I there is tag: <openSearch:totalResults>1</openSearch:totalResults> There is namespace openSearch: xmlns:openSearch='http://a9.com/-/spec/opensearchrss/1.0/' but I dont know how to deal with it in Nokogiri and Ruby.     This is my current query - its not getting the required result. I want it do display all of the "resources" even if they dont have a connection. SELECT * FROM (`user_permissions`) JOIN `user_groups` ON `user_groups`.`id` = `user_permissions`.`role` JOIN `user_resources` ON `user_resources`.`id` = `user_permissions`.`resource` WHERE `role` = '4' When I try left join or right join it still returns the same result. The result I get is: id | role | resource | name 5 | 4 | 2 | Changelog I want id | role | resource | name 5 | 4 | 2 | Changelog null | null | null | Resource2 null | null | null | Resource3 Is this possible?

    It seems that if there is a sql memory leak somewhere and you dont have time to find it you can use the load balance timeout option in a sql connection string to destory the connection after x seconds. Am i right in assuming I can set the load balance time out to 30-40 seconds and then hunt for the leak latter, while in the mean time the leak will not affect my application too much.

    using jquery date picker you can render specific cells the way you want. (in my case i have a list of dates that i want to highlight as they are important days) i see that datepicker itself supports this here: http://www.kelvinluck.com/assets/jquery/datePicker/v2/demo/renderCalendarCallback.html but i dont see the multimonth implementation having an option for renderingcustomDates http://www.kelvinluck.com/assets/jquery/datePicker/v2/demo/datePickerMultiMonth3.html was this missed out in the implementation to expose this functionality?
