    Hello everyone, Because I am new with SQL Server and T-SQL, so I will need your help. I have 2 table: Realtime and EOD. To understand my question, I give example data for 2 tables: ---Realtime table--- Symbol Date Value ABC 1/3/2009 03:05:01 327 // this day is not existed in EOD -> inserting BBC 1/3/2009 03:05:01 458 // this day is not existed in EOD -> inserting ABC 1/2/2009 03:05:01 326 // this day is new -> updating BBC 1/2/2009 03:05:01 454 // this day is new -> updating ABC 1/2/2009 02:05:01 323 BBC 1/2/2009 02:05:01 453 ABC 1/2/2009 01:05:01 313 BBC 1/2/2009 01:05:01 423 ---EOD table--- Symbol Date Value ABC 1/2/2009 02:05:01 323 BBC 1/2/2009 02:05:01 453 I will need to create a store procedure to update value of symbols. If data in day of a symbol is new (compare between Realtime & EOD), it will update value and date for EOD at that day if existing, otherwise inserting. And store will update EOD table with new data: ---EOD table--- Symbol Date Value ABC 1/3/2009 03:05:01 327 BBC 1/3/2009 03:05:01 458 ABC 1/2/2009 03:05:01 326 BBC 1/2/2009 03:05:01 454 P/S: I use SQL Server 2005.   • Android VideoView plays 2 videos at the same time

    I ma trying to play a videoview on top of another video view. the first video view is paused, while the second is playing. It appears to work but no second video appears on he screen (though I hear the audio and see the controls that would normally appear on top). I am assuming this is some sort of Zorder issue. Any thoughts. By the way, I have no problem displaying other views on top of the main video view and having the video fill the background.

    I have a search page on my MVC site that contains a list of strings that I think the user might wish to search for in my database. This list of strings is available in my model class, so I can populate an Html.ListBox with those strings thus: <%=Html.ListBox("SearchStrings", new SelectList(Model.SearchStrings)) % My problem is, how can I tell which strings the user selected in that list in my postback action? Any help would be most appreciated.

    In the App ID section of the Program Portal, locate the App ID you wish to use with the Apple Push Notification service. Only App IDs with a specific bundle ID can be used with the APNs. You cannot use a “wild-card” application ID. You must see “Available” under the Apple Push Notification service column to register this App ID and configure a certificate for this App ID. Click the ‘Configure’ link next to your desired App ID. In the Configure App ID page, check the Enable Push Notification Services box and click the Configure button. Clicking this button launches the APNs Assistant, which guides you through the next series of steps that create your App ID specific Client SSL certificate. Download the Client SSL certificate file to your download location. Navigate to that location and double-click the certificate file (which has an extension of cer) to install it in your keychain. When you are finished, click Done in the APNS Assistant. Double-clicking the file launches Keychain Access. Make sure you install the certificate in your login keychain on the computer you are using for provider development. The APNs SSL certificate should be installed on your notification server. When you finish these steps you are returned to the Configure App ID page of the iPhone Dev Center portal. The certificate should be badged with a green circle and the label “Enabled”. To complete the APNs set-up process, you will need to create a new provisioning profile containing your APNs-enabled App ID. IS it posssible to do theses steps through code.

Can enums's hashcode change at runtime?

  • Our Flash Streaming Player Occasionally Stutters like a Skipping CD after a Period of Time

    We offer a streaming player for a number of our clients, who are responsible for their providing us with their own audio streams. We have written a very simple flash player that can play all of the streams that we support (icecast/shoutcast/live365/mp3 over http/etc). Unfortunately, we have found that when listening, our player sometimes begins to stutter (like a skipping cd), sometimes after only 10 minutes, and sometimes after an hour of listening. We have noticed this behaviour in firefox on both linux and windows. Does anybody know anything about this problem? We know that flash isn't ideal for infinite streams of audio, but it's about all that we can find that's on every platform out there. If anybody can suggest a solution to our problem, I'll be your friend forever.   • Design time error - multiple controls with the same Id

    I'm using VS 2008, I have a very simple page that has a bunch of uniquely named controls. When I try to view it in design mode I get the following error: Error Rendering Control - Label12 An unhanded exception has occurred. Multiple controls with the same ID 'Label1' were found. FindControl requires that controls have unique IDs I've checked the HTML and the designer file and I can only see one control called Label1. What might be causing this?   • Problem with usercontrol scaling when added at run-time in .Net, WinForms

    First here's the steps to replicate, then I'll explain what the problem is: (1) Add a usercontrol to a form in the construtor, after the InitializeComponent call. (2) Run the form. (3) Click a button to increase the form font size. All the controls within the usercontrol scale perfectly but the usercontrol itself doesn't. It's width and height are increased by way too much. To correct the problem, the usercontrol must be added before the InitializeComponent call. If it wasn't possible for me to add the usercontrol before InitializeComponent, is there any way for me to correct the scaling?

    Hi, Below is the overriden on complete function for a preloader in Flex. private function initComplete(e:Event):void { //dispatchEvent(new Event(Event.COMPLETE)); cp.status.text="Configuring... Please Wait"; } What I want to do is when the app has finsihed loading I want to change the preloaders text to "configuring". Then I want to go and do a bunch of setup stuff in my code. Once I've done all the setup I wanted how can I get the Preloader to dispatch its Event.complete from else where in my code? I tried Application.application.preloader but it comes up null. So I guess my question really is how to access a preloader from anywhere in my application. Would a better approach be to have all setup classes as members of my preloader class?

    Dear All, I am creating a simple game, where I would like more than one player to be able to connect and play. With regards to a single player game, I am more than comfortable with the coding. I cannot seem to figure out how to connect up more than one player and update their screens when the each player moves. So far I have the players connecting, but I still need to be able update the SharedObject when a player moves, then push it out to the other players. I have searched high and low for a good tutorial / source code to review. Code So Far A tutorial i found so far listened for a click as it was a mouse based movement, then this told the SHaredObject to tell the client (and the others) to update that clients movement. However all of my movement is listend and acted on in the playership class.

However, I need the page to be able to update itself with fresh information every few seconds to redraw the graph.     Im currently uploading data to MS SQL server via SQLBulkCopy and Transactions. I would like to be able to raise an event after each batch has been uploaded (I have already tried SQLRowsCopied event and it doesnt work, see quote below) MSDN quote: No action, such as transaction activity, is supported in the connection during the execution of the bulk copy operation, and it is recommended that you not use the same connection used during the SqlRowsCopied event. However, you can open a different connection. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.data.sqlclient.sqlbulkcopy.sqlrowscopied(v=vs.80).aspx So i basically cant have my cake and eat it :( Does anyone know a solution around this as i would like to fire an event after each batch has been uploaded.
