  • Uninstall exceptions in InstallShield

    Hello, I have a setup project with InstallShield 2010. I'm deploying a configuration file during installation. However, when uninstalled, InstallShield decides to delete it (which is normal). The question is, is there a way to keep the file on the hard disk even after the application in uninstalled? I don't want to reconfigure the application every time the user uninstalls/installs. Edit: I'm using MSI project.

    Hello, Is there a way to tell if when a download has finished? That is, we allow users to download a report in PDF format. It takes about 3 - 5 seconds to start downloading and in this time, from click to end of download, show a wait state icon so that the user doesn't click multiple times. Thanks! Eric

    Hello everyone. In a Latex Report I am making I have to write a regex. There is only one in the whole report, so I don't really want to use packages and so on. This is the regex I am talking about: ^\"((\w|\s)+)\"$ I came up with this for Latex: \grave{ }\backslash\"'((\backslash w\| \backslash s)+)\backslash \"' \backslash \$ This gives me like 10 errors, and I can't really see what is wrong. I have creatd a State Machine Workflow ,it worked very fine in one build , but due to some requirements i altered workflow , build and reinstall application , but now when i am trying to access workflow instaces which i created in provious build , it give me runtime exception "This workflow is not owned by the WorkflowRuntime.     Hello, I am doing some work which involves drawing video frames in real time in OpenGL ES. Right now I am using glTexImage2D to transfer the data, in the absence of Pixel Buffer Objects and the like. A below answer suggests that glTexImage2D is always blocking, even if texture object referenced does is not used for any drawing. Is there a way to do a nonblocking texture upload with OpenGL ES (any version)? Thank you very much, Sean
