  • Can you get the size of the Flash object in Actionscript?

    I'm working with a Flash movie and I'm trying to get the size of the player itself (i.e. the height and width Flash has to work with from the object/embed tag). As far as I can tell, Flash doesn't make this available to ActionScript. I'm able to use this.root.loaderInfo.width and this.root.loaderInfo.height to get the "intended" size of the flash movie (what's specified on export), but if the dimensions are different on the page, this isn't helpful.

  • extending flex 4 'group' component problem

    Hi, I have a component that were exported from catalyst (the component is based on a tag). Now I created a new component extending this. However when I add this new component to my module it doesn't seem to inherit the designs that were exported from catalyst. Any idea how i can do that? Ofcource when I add the component that were directly out of catalyst all the designs appears.. Thanks.

Given that most of my commits are prefixed with an issue number, I wondered if there is some magic command for searching for the commit SHA from part of its message. I know it's easy to do a git log and work from there, but I want more easy :)

If i set though the jquery code (f11/f10) the callback is called??!!!?

I want to "tag" a particular connection (src, srcport, dst, dstport) with a number that I can always read from a packet belonging to that connection.     I have to install windows service using Visual Studio. Target location for the install is handled by “DefaultLocation” property in Visual Studio setup project. I had used [AppDataFolder] tag to install the application. As the result, it has been installed in “C:\Users[username]\AppData*Roaming*” folder. I can not figure out how to modify “DefaultLocation” property in such a way that application will be installed in C:\Users[username]\AppData*Local* folder. Any idea how to accomplish that?
