    Hi, I need to get a row based on column value just like querying a database. I have a command output like this, Name ID Mem VCPUs State Time(s) Domain-0 0 15485 16 r----- 1779042.1 prime95-01 512 1 -b---- 61.9 Here I need to list only those rows where state is "r". Something like this, Domain-0 0 15485 16 r----- 1779042.1 I have tried using "grep" and "awk" but still I am not able to succeed. Please help me on this issue. Regards, Raaj

When I run tiem command:- shadyabhi@shadyabhi-desktop:~$ time ./a.out real 0m0.383s user 0m0.810s sys 0m0.000s shadyabhi@shadyabhi-desktop:~$ How come sys+user is greater than real time?

SELECT id, LOWER(title) as title, LOWER(sub_title) as sub_title FROM ebay_archive_listing WHERE MATCH(title, sub_title) AGAINST ("key" IN BOOLEAN MODE) However it is not finding rows where the title contains the word "key". "key" is generated dynamically based on a set of keywords, so sometimes it contains + and - symbols.

    In other words, is the following "cursoring" approach guaranteed to work: retrieve rows from DB save the largest ID from the returned records for later, e.g. in LastMax later, "SELECT * FROM MyTable WHERE Id > {0}", LastMax In order for that to work, I have to be sure that every row I didn't get in step 1 has an Id greater than LastMax. Is this guaranteed, or can I run into weird race conditions?

In IE8 its false for some reason and therefore it does not put the OnChange javascript event on the input tag. Has anyone seen anything like this before? we are using Freemarker 2.3.9 Update, it kinda works if i turn compatibility mode on for IE8. but not exactly. when i do that, the onchange event doesn't fire until the check box loses focus. which is very different than everything else. Is there a quick way to fix this without too much trouble? i suppose i could put something in that says if ie8, insert onclick instead of onchange. that may work, but i would need an authorization from the client to fix it like that.
