  • How do I get MSBuild Task to generate XML Documents when building a solution?

    - by toba303
    I have a solution with lots of projects. Each project is configured to generate the XML documentation file when building in Debug-Mode (which is default). That works when I build in Visual Studio 2008. In my build script on my integration server I advise MSBuild to build the whole solution, but it won't generate the documentation files. What can I do? I already tried to explicitly give the Debug-Condition to the build process, but it makes no difference. <Target Name="BuilSolution"> <MSBuild Projects="C:\Path\To\MySolution.sln" targets="Build" Properties="SolutionConfigurationPlatforms='Debug|Any CPU'"/> </Target> There seem to be some ideas to solve this problem when building single projects, but I can't afford to do this, so I need a hint for doing it this way. Thanks in advance!

  • laravel multiple where clauses within a loop

    - by user1424508
    Pretty much I want the query to select all records of users that are 25 years old AND are either between 150-170cm OR 190-200cm. I have this query written down below. However the problem is it keeps getting 25 year olds OR people who are 190-200cm instead of 25 year olds that are 150-170 OR 25 year olds that 190-200cm tall. How can I fix this? thanks $heightarray=array(array(150,170),array(190,200)); $user->where('age',25); for($i=0;$i<count($heightarray);i++){ if($i==0){ $user->whereBetween('height',$heightarray[$i]) }else{ $user->orWhereBetween('height',$heightarray[$i]) } } $user->get(); Edit: I tried advanced wheres (http://laravel.com/docs/queries#advanced-wheres) and it doesn't work for me as I cannot pass the $heightarray parameter into the closure. from laravel documentation DB::table('users') ->where('name', '=', 'John') ->orWhere(function($query) { $query->where('votes', '>', 100) ->where('title', '<>', 'Admin'); }) ->get();

    I am trying to pre-populate a text box with today's date, but for some reason, it keeps showing today's date as 5/30/13, which is a month behind. This code should just be pulling the local time so why is it a month behind? Here is my code, can someone please tell me why the current date is off...Please help, :) var dateToday=new Date(); function loadDate(){ var today=dateToday.getMonth() + "/" +dateToday.getDate()+"/"+dateToday.getFullYear(); document.forms[0].curDate.value=today; } function orderReady(orderTime){ dateToday.setDate(dateToday.getDate()+orderTime); var ready=dateToday.getMonth()+"/" +dateToday.getDate()+"/"+dateToday.getFullYear(); document.forms[0].puDate.value=ready; } <body onload="loadDate();"> <p>Today's Date<br /> <input type="text" name="curDate" size="50" /><br />

  • Trouble Passing Parameter to LinqToSql Stored Procedure

    - by Webjedi
    public IEnumerable<T> ExecuteStoredProcedure<T>(params object[] parameters) { Type genericType = typeof(T); string commandthing = genericType.Name.Replace("Result", ""); //_db is my Linq To Sql database return _db.ExecuteQuery<T>(commandthing, parameters).AsEnumerable(); } The stored procedure is named GetOrder and has a single int parameter of orderid. I'm calling the above like so: SqlParameter parm1 = new SqlParameter("@orderid", SqlDbType.Int); parm1.Value = 123; var results = _session.ExecuteStoredProcedure<GetOrderResult>(parm1).Single(); I'm receiving the following error: A query parameter cannot be of type 'System.Data.SqlClient.SqlParameter' Thoughts? • Comparing structs in C++

    - by kamziro
    So in C++ There's a lot of times where you need to make an "index" class. For example: class GameID{ public: string name; int regionid; int gameid; bool operator<(const GameID& rhs) const; } Now, if we were to represent GameID as pair , the operator comparison just comes with it. Is there any other way to get that automatic operator comparison without having to use std::pair< ?

  • How can I remove a browser's cache server-side, using ASP.NET?

    - by Noman
    How can I remove a browser's cache server-side, using ASP.NET (C#)? A coupon shows by itself (I believe it comes from cache as I did also browse for other apparel sites). It breaks my JavaScript as well as my server-side code, as I am using an UpdatePanel for Ajax, and it duplicates the UpdatePanel's ID. I have renamed the UpdatePanel's ID, but it makes no difference. It generates "Invalid view State" exception. The coupon name is "FastSave" What I have tried: Response.Cache.SetExpires(DateTime.UtcNow.AddMinutes(-1)); Response.Cache.SetCacheability(HttpCacheability.NoCache); Response.Cache.SetNoStore();

  • Application_EndRequest Dosent Fire on a 404

    - by Shane
    I am using ASP MVC 2 and Nhibernate. I have created an HTTP Module as demonstrated in Summer of NHibernate 13 that looks like so: public void Init(HttpApplication context) { context.PreRequestHandlerExecute += new EventHandler(Application_BeginRequest); context.PostRequestHandlerExecute += new EventHandler(Application_EndRequest); } private void Application_BeginRequest(object sender, EventArgs e) { ISession session = StaticSessionManager.OpenSession(); session.BeginTransaction(); CurrentSessionContext.Bind(session); } private void Application_EndRequest(object sender, EventArgs e) { ISession session = CurrentSessionContext.Unbind(StaticSessionManager.SessionFactory); if (session != null) try { session.Transaction.Commit(); } catch (Exception) { session.Transaction.Rollback(); } finally { session.Flush(); session.Close(); } } web.config <add name="UnitOfWork" type="HttpModules.UnitOfWork"/> My problem is that Application_EndRequest never gets called on a 404 error so if my view does not render I completely block database access until my flush takes place. I am fairly new to NHibernate so I am not sure if I am missing something.

  • PHP HTML variable

    - by Abakiz Myth
    In Coldfusion we have the variable: <cfsavecontent name="HTML_content"> <div class="test_div" style="color:#FFF;">Test</div> </cfsavecontent> Within PHP there seems to be no way of doing this without some really hacky function or escaping double quotes. I'm trying to create emails (large html documents) within the same page by saving the email content and simply mailing it but it seems like there's no way of doing this within PHP without using $var = "\"crap\""; Can somebody point me in the right direction?

  • Loading Unmanaged C++ in C#. Error Attempted to read or write protected memory

    I have a C++ function that looks like this __declspec(dllexport) int ___stdcall RegisterPerson(char const * const szName) { std::string copyName( szName ); // Assign name to a google protocol buffer object // Psuedo code follows.. Protobuf::Person person; person->set_name(copyName); // Error Occurs here... std::cerr << person->DebugString() << std::endl; } The corresponding C# code looks like this... [DllImport(@"MyLibrary.dll", SetLastError = true)] public static unsafe extern int RegisterPerson([MarshalAs(UnmanagedType.LPTStr)]string szName) Not sure why this is not working. My C++ library is compiled as Multi Threaded DLL with MultiByte encoding. Any help would be appreciated. I saw this is a common problem online but no answers lead me to a solution for my problem.

  • Codeigniter - selecting children and parents from db

    - by Tomek Buszewski
    I want to pull from my database records corresponding to parent_id, like this: function getChildren($id, $parent_id) { $q = $this->db->select('id, name, slug, plat'); $q = $this->db->from('games'); $q = $this->db->where('parent_id',$id); $q = $this->db->or_where('id',$parent_id); $q = $this->db->get(); return $q->result_array(); } It - if it's a children game - get parent_id and search for a game with such id and for other games that has parent_id same as this one. If it's the parent game, it only looks for games with parent_id same as it's id. The problem is... it's not always working. I have four games in db: id | parent_id | title 15 | 0 | Abe 19 | 15 | Abe 20 | 0 | RE2 21 | 20 | RE2 DS First two works, last two - only children (id = 21) shows parent.

  • Tag <code>: how to "correct" publish it ?

    - by stighy
    Hi, i'm not sure to explain what i'm looking for. What's the name of the "source code parser" for publish code, in HTML ? For example, when i write some source code here in stack overflow, system auto-detect the sintax and write "correct" source code in html. I've noticed that exists the HTML <"code" tag, but it simply write source code in "courier" font. So i'm asking you if exists some "external" component that, given a text, parse it out correctly in a HTML page. Thank you!

  • Iterating over a database column in Django

    - by curious
    I would like to iterate a calculation over a column of values in a MySQL database. I wondered if Django had any built-in functionality for doing this. Previously, I have just used the following to store each column as a list of tuples with the name table_column: import MySQLdb import sys try: conn = MySQLdb.connect (host = "localhost", user = "user", passwd="passwd", db="db") except MySQLdb.Error, e: print "Error %d: %s" % (e.args[0], e.args[1]) sys.exit (1) cursor = conn.cursor() for table in ['foo', 'bar']: for column in ['foobar1', 'foobar2']: cursor.execute('select %s from %s' % (column, table)) exec "%s_%s = cursor.fetchall()" % (table, column) cursor.close() conn.commit() conn.close() Is there any functionality built into Django to more conveniently iterate through the values of a column in a database table? I'm dealing with millions of rows so speed of execution is important.

  • Android Loading & Playing Sound Based on String

    - by Chance
    I'm currently working on a simple Android app, and right now I am trying to get it to load in and play sounds. The problem I am faced with is that I want the sound it uses to be based on a string (With the same name as the sound file). The reason for this is simplicity in both the code and adding on to it. Now unfortunately I can't just slap a string in place of referencing the actual sound, but is there some way for me to compare a string to the entire raw folder to find the matching sound, or some other alternative short of defining every sound manually? Thank you for your time.

But I want it to look like this, where firt 4 numbers have a meaning, while all the rest info is just for user. 1000 Name LastName and some other helpful info 1001 tom jeff smallville 1002 ming vase, 1992 ... For example, this line fotoId = ui->devices->currentItem()->text().toInt(); should give me same result in both cases.

I did see from some website, like facebook, youtube, google or twitter, they have different style. Wonder how they do it.

  • Is there a good open source search engine including indexing bot which can be used to make up speci

    - by Skuta
    Hello, Our application (C#/.NET) needs a lot of queries to search. Google's 50,000 policy per day is not enough. We need something that would crawl Internet websites by specific rules we set (for ex. country domains) and gather URLs, Texts, keywords, name of websites and create our own internal catalogue so we wouldn't be limited to any massive external search engine like Google or Yahoo. Is there any free open source solution we could use to install it on our server? No point in re-inventing the wheel.

  • How to retrieve ID of button clicked within usercontrol on Asp.net page?

    - by Shawn Gilligan
    I have a page that I am working on that I'm linking multiple user controls to. The user control contains 3 buttons, an attach, clear and view button. When a user clicks on any control on the page, the resulting information is "dumped" into the last visible control on the page. <%@ Page Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="Default.aspx.cs" Inherits="Default" MasterPageFile="DefaultPage.master" %> <%@ Register Assembly="AjaxControlToolkit" Namespace="AjaxControlToolkit" TagPrefix="ajaxToolkit" %> <%@ Register tagName="FileHandler" src="FileHandling.ascx" tagPrefix="ucFile" %> <asp:Content ID="Content1" ContentPlaceHolderID="Main" Runat="Server"> <asp:UpdatePanel ID="upPanel" UpdateMode="Conditional" runat="server"> <ContentTemplate> <table> <tr> <td> <ucFile:FileHandler ID="fFile1" runat="server" /> </td> <td> <ucFile:FileHandler ID="fFile2" runat="server" /> </td> </tr> </table> </ContentTemplate> </asp:UpdatePanel> </asp:Content> All file handling and processing is handled within the control, with an event when the upload to the file server is complete via a file name that was generated. When either button is clicked, the file name is always stored internal to the control in the last control's text box. Control code: <table style="width: 50%;"> <tr style="white-space: nowrap;"> <td style="width: 1%;"> <asp:Label runat="server" ID="lblFile" /> </td> <td style="width: 20%;"> <asp:TextBox ID="txtFile" CssClass="backColor" runat="server" OnTextChanged="FileInformationChanged" /> </td> <td style="width: 1%"> <%--<asp:Button runat="server" ID="btnUpload" CssClass="btn" Text="Attach" OnClick="UploadFile"/>--%> <input type="button" id="btnUpload" class="btn" tabindex="30" value="Attach" onclick="SetupUpload();" /> </td> <td style="width: 1%"> <%--<asp:Button runat="server" ID="btnClear" Text="Clear" CssClass="btn" OnClick="ClearTextValue"/>--%> <input type="button" id="btnClearFile" class="btn" value="Clear" onclick="document.getElementById('<%=txtFile.ClientID%>').value = '';document.getElementById('<%=hfFile.ClientID%>').value = '';" /> </td> <td style="width: 1%"> <a href="#here" onclick="ViewLink(document.getElementById('<%=hfFile.ClientID%>').value, '')">View</a> </td> <td style="width: 1%"> <asp:HiddenField ID="hfFile" runat="server" /> </td> </tr> </table> <script type="text/javascript"> var ItemPath = ""; function SetupUpload(File) { ItemPath = File; VersionAttach('<%=UploadPath%>', 'true'); } function UploadComplete(File) { document.getElementById('<%=txtFile.ClientID%>').value = File.substring(File.lastIndexOf("/") + 1); document.getElementById('<%=hfFile.ClientID%>').value = File; alert('<%=txtFile.Text %>'); alert('<%=ClientID %>') } function ViewLink(File, Alert) { if (File != "") { if (File.indexOf("../data/") != -1) { window.open(File, '_blank'); } else { window.open('../data/<%=UploadPath%>/' + File, '_blank'); } } else if (Alert == "") { alert('No file has been uploaded for this field.'); } } </script>
