  I am gathering small information regarding kernel dll functions.. and I found this function called CopyLZFileName/CreateLZFileName and some other functions related to this LZ.. I googled for it.. Can I exclude this domain classes to separate maven-module, so I can add this module as dependency to other maven-modules (i.e. add this module as dependency to maven-module which contains gwt related stuff, so this domain classes will be generated to JavaScript, and add this module as dependency to "normal" (not gwt) Java maven-modules, so this domain classes won’t be generated to JavaScript)?

  I am profiling a C program using Mac's Shark which shows that some of CPU time goes to "blkclr" in "mach_kernel". What does this kernel function do? I speculate it is related to memory allocation, but I am not sure. I have googled for some time, but could not find the answer, either. Does someone know this? Thanks in advance.

  I am checking to see if a value in a related table exists quite often in my view, in this case, expenses have approvals. If they have not been submitted, then there is no record of them in the approvals table. I am ending up with some really awkward code <% if !expense_item.expense_approval || expense_item.expense_approval.approval_status == 0 %> Is there a way to do an if statement on a value, without having to check if it exists first? Or some default way to set it nil?

I manage to find all the projects which are related to a specific worker by writing the following code: worker=Worker.find_by_id("some_id") worker.projects but I want the projects that I get to be only active projects (in the project model I have a status field) I tried to do something like worker.projects(:status_id=>'active') but it didn’t work for me.
