    I wish to show the mouse coordinates only when i am viewing tabpage7. So far i have: this.tabPage7.MouseMove += new System.Windows.Forms.MouseEventHandler(this.OnMouseMove); protected void OnMouseMove(object sender, MouseEventArgs mouseEv) { Console.WriteLine("happening"); Console.WriteLine(mouseEv.X.ToString()); Console.WriteLine(mouseEv.Y.ToString()); } but this doesn't appear to be doing anything, could someone help show me what im doing wrong please?

    I'm using carrier-specific addresses to send email to SMS, which works fine. In reference to the answer of this question http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1179854/limitations-on-sms-messages-sent-using-free-email-sms-gateways is there any websites or other resources that list the format that is delivered for each carrier. ATT for example delivers the SMS with some added formatting that is not present with T-Mobile. I realize this is not a coding question, but since I can only see this question arising for someone that is creating email to SMS specific applications, it seems relevant to SO.

  • Cell tooltip in SlickGrid

    Some cells in my SlickGrid table have myClass class. I added a tooltip for them like this: $(".myClass").hover(// Mouse enters function(e) {...}, // Mouse leaves function() {...}); It works fine, but if I scroll the table to the bottom, and then scroll it back to the top, the tooltip does not appear anymore. Can someone suggest any workaround ? Thanks !

    I have played/worked with many different programming languages and Dylan is still one of my favorites. My question is why did Dylan fail when Objective-C, Ruby and even Scheme have had more success? Was Dylans performance that much worse than Objective-C that Apple went with it or was purely for social/political reasons. '+/">' ... but if someone types in äöü, it doesnt show the letters - with rawurlencode thats possible, but I want to remove the blank spaces with pregreplace and replace it with + is that possible?

    Can someone please explain the difference between IE8 browser mode and document mode in simple terms? What causes the browser mode to change? What causes the document mode to change? If a user changes the mode(s) via developer tools, does the change remain even if the page is refreshed? I have a client who is insisting on seeking video submissions (any encoding) from the public via one of their pages rather than letting YouTube do its job. Server in question is a virtual machine and I can adjust ini settings for max post, max upload size etc as needed. My initial thought is to use a Flash based uploader with PHP on the back end but I wondered if someone might have useful advice and experience on the subject? Peace JG

  • Wildcard subdomains with GoDaddy giving me 404 error

    I have a hosting account with GoDaddy and I enabled wildcard subdomains by adding an A Record pointing to the IP Address. However when I try opening abc.mydomain.com, I get a 404 error. I searched the web and am doubting whether I need a .htaccess file. That file does not exist in my root folder. Can someone please guide me how to configure this and a sample .htaccess file if required. Many Thanks, Arun
