So my programm uses soskets, what Parallel computing APIs I can use that would help me but will not obligate me to go from sockets to anything else... I mean when we are on claster with some special, not socket infrastructure sistem that API emulates something like socket but uses that infrustructure (so programm peforms much faster then on sockets, but keeps having nice soskets API)

    the following is a part of my code. string lsStatus; lsStatus = ((Tv10DBLookup)(Sender)).EditValue.ToString(); while im debuging the code, im getting the following: "lsStatus is not in the context" ! Knowing that (Tv10DBLookup)(Sender)).EditValue is returning the value "Closed" what does this mean ?

    Recently i've been doing string comparing jobs on CUDA, and i wonder how can a global function return a value when it finds the exact string that i'm looking for. I mean, i need the global function which contains a great amout of threads to find a certain string among a big big string-pool simultaneously, and i hope that once the exact string is caught, the global funtion can stop all the threads and return back to the main funtion, and tells me "he did it"!     So a collection in VB6 keeps track of a key for each object, and you can look up the object by its key. Does that mean collections are implemented as some sort of hashtable under the hood? I realize you can have multiple items with the same key in a collection, hence the SOME SORT. Anybody know what type data structure a VB6 collection is supposed to represent?
