  • Ruby on Rails wildcard routing such as /foo.htm /foo.php /foo.something

    I'm trying to create a routing situation where by default, any URL's such as this: /foo /something /foo.php /somethingelse.xml /something.something.else etc. will all route to one controller, assuming they don't route anywhere else. i can get this to work with the following code in my routes: map.myroute '/:file_or_folder', :controller = 'mycontroller' this works fine as long as there are no dots in the URL: /something but this wont work: /something.foo any ideas?

    Hi, I have some errors in my output source code, I'm wondering if there is a tool that is able to look through the site and find which .tpl file my error is in? That, or at least give me a list of .tpls to look through. I can't seem to find this error and the site isn't very well documented.     I am using CCNET on a sample project with SVN as my source control. CCNET is configured to create a build on every check in. CCNET uses MSBuild to build the source code. I would like to use the latest revision number to generate AssemblyInfo.cs while compiling. How can I retrieve the latest revision from subversion and use the value in CCNET? Edit: I'm not using NAnt - only MSBuild.

  • ArcObjects: Is buffering a point faster than buffering a line / polyline?

    I can write my code logic to either buffer a polyline or to buffer the to and from point of the polyline. Working with the points will be easier, so it is the preferred way. Logically my reasoning tells me that buffering a point will be faster as it will always be a perfect circle. But will buffering 2 points still be faster than buffering 1 polyline? My gut says yes. Any comments?

I encountered the following C++ code: String source = String::New("'Hello' + ', World'"); As what I understand so far, this should be a call to static member function 'New' of class 'String'. But, I've searched through the whole header file defining 'String', there is not any static member named 'New' in the String class or its super classes. Is there any special meaning attached to String class or the New member function in C++?
