  • Can ASM method-visitors be used with interfaces?

    - by Olaf Mertens
    I need to write a tool that lists the classes that call methods of specified interfaces. It will be used as part of the build process of a large java application consisting of many modules. The goal is to automatically document the dependencies between certain java modules. I found several tools for dependency analysis, but they don't work on the method level, just for packages or jars. Finally I found ASM, that seems to do what I need. The following code prints the method dependencies of all class files in a given directory: import java.io.*; import java.util.*; import org.objectweb.asm.ClassReader; public class Test { public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception { File dir = new File(args[0]); List<File> classFiles = new LinkedList<File>(); findClassFiles(classFiles, dir); for (File classFile : classFiles) { InputStream input = new FileInputStream(classFile); new ClassReader(input).accept(new MyClassVisitor(), 0); input.close(); } } private static void findClassFiles(List<File> list, File dir) { for (File file : dir.listFiles()) { if (file.isDirectory()) { findClassFiles(list, file); } else if (file.getName().endsWith(".class")) { list.add(file); } } } } import org.objectweb.asm.MethodVisitor; import org.objectweb.asm.commons.EmptyVisitor; public class MyClassVisitor extends EmptyVisitor { private String className; @Override public void visit(int version, int access, String name, String signature, String superName, String[] interfaces) { this.className = name; } @Override public MethodVisitor visitMethod(int access, String name, String desc, String signature, String[] exceptions) { System.out.println(className + "." + name); return new MyMethodVisitor(); } } import org.objectweb.asm.commons.EmptyVisitor; public class MyMethodVisitor extends EmptyVisitor { @Override public void visitMethodInsn(int opcode, String owner, String name, String desc) { String key = owner + "." + name; System.out.println(" " + key); } } The Problem: The code works for regular classes only! If the class file contains an interface, visitMethod is called, but not visitMethodInsn. I don't get any info about the callers of interface methods. Any ideas?

  • How do I catch the error from my printer with PrintDocument?

    - by Scottie
    I am using the PrintDocument class to print to my Brother label printer. When I execute the Print() method, the printer starts flashing a red error light, but everything else returns successful. I can run this same code on my laser printer and everything works fine. How can I see what is causing the error on my label printer? Code: public class Test { private Font printFont; private List<string> _documentLinesToPrint = new List<string>(); public void Run() { _documentLinesToPrint.Add("Test1"); _documentLinesToPrint.Add("Test2"); printFont = new Font("Arial", 10); var pd = new PrintDocument(); pd.DefaultPageSettings.Margins = new Margins(25, 25, 25, 25); pd.DefaultPageSettings.PaperSize = new PaperSize("Label", 400, 237); var printerSettings = new System.Drawing.Printing.PrinterSettings(); printerSettings.PrinterName ="Brother QL-570 LE"; pd.PrinterSettings = printerSettings; pd.PrinterSettings.Copies = 1; pd.PrintPage += new PrintPageEventHandler(this.pd_PrintPage); pd.Print(); } // The PrintPage event is raised for each page to be printed. private void pd_PrintPage(object sender, PrintPageEventArgs ev) { float linesPerPage = 0; float yPos = 0; int count = 0; float leftMargin = ev.MarginBounds.Left; float topMargin = ev.MarginBounds.Top; string line = null; // Calculate the number of lines per page. linesPerPage = ev.MarginBounds.Height / printFont.GetHeight(ev.Graphics); // Print each line of the file. while ((count < linesPerPage) && (count < _documentLinesToPrint.Count)) { line = _documentLinesToPrint[count]; yPos = topMargin + (count * printFont.GetHeight(ev.Graphics)); ev.Graphics.DrawString(line, printFont, Brushes.Black, leftMargin, yPos, new StringFormat()); line = null; count++; } // If more lines exist, print another page. if (line != null) ev.HasMorePages = true; else ev.HasMorePages = false; } }

  • Destructuring assignment in generator expressions and array comprehensions

    - by Eli Grey
    Why does for ([] in object); work fine but [void 0 for ([] in object)] or (void 0 for ([] in object)) throw a syntax error for invalid left-hand assignment? For example, I would expect the following code to work, but it doesn't (the assertion isn't even done due to the syntax error): let ( i = 0, arr = [1, 2, 3, 4], gen = (i for (i in arr) if (arr.hasOwnProperty(i)) ) { for ([] in gen) i++; console.assertEquals([void 0 for ([] in gen)].length, i); }

  • How do I write a std::codecvt facet?

    - by Billy ONeal
    How do I write a std::codecvt facet? I'd like to write ones that go from UTF-16 to UTF-8, which go from UTF-16 to the systems current code page (windows, so CP_ACP), and to the system's OEM codepage (windows, so CP_OEM). Cross-platform is preferred, but MSVC on Windows is fine too. Are there any kinds of tutorials or anything of that nature on how to correctly use this class?

  • Fabfile with support for sqlalchemy-migrate deployments?

    - by Chris Reid
    I have database migrations (with sqlalchemy-migrate) working well in my dev environment. However, I'm a little stumped about how to integrate this into my deployment process. I'm using fabric for deployment but having some trouble scripting the migrations part. The path to the to migrations directory in site-packages is dynamic (due to changing egg version number) and I'd rather not hard code my db password into the fabfile. Does anyone have a fabfile that plays nicely with sqlalchemy-migrate?

  • use jquery to toggle disabled state with a radio button

    - by hbowman
    I want to toggle two radio buttons and select fields based on which radio button is selected. I have the jQuery working, but want to know if there is a way to make it more efficient. Seems like quite a few lines for the simple goal I am trying to achieve. Here are the requirements: when the page loads, #aircraftType should be checked and #aircraftModelSelect should be grayed out (right now, the "checked" is being ignored by Firefox). If the user clicks either #aircraftType or #aircraftModel, the opposite select field should become disabled (if #aircraftModel is checked, #aircraftTypeSelect should be disabled, and vise versa). Any help on optimizing this code is appreciated. Code is up on jsfiddle too: http://jsfiddle.net/JuRKn/ $("#aircraftType").attr("checked"); $("#aircraftModel").removeAttr("checked"); $("#aircraftModelSelect").attr("disabled","disabled").addClass("disabled"); $("#aircraftType").click(function(){ $("#aircraftModelSelect").attr("disabled","disabled").addClass("disabled"); $("#aircraftTypeSelect").removeAttr("disabled").removeClass("disabled"); }); $("#aircraftModel").click(function(){ $("#aircraftTypeSelect").attr("disabled","disabled").addClass("disabled"); $("#aircraftModelSelect").removeAttr("disabled").removeClass("disabled"); }); HTML <div class="aircraftType"> <input type="radio" id="aircraftType" name="aircraft" checked /> <label for="aircraftType">Aircraft Type</label> <select size="6" multiple="multiple" id="aircraftTypeSelect" name="aircraftType"> <option value="">Light Jet</option> <option value="">Mid-Size Jet</option> <option value="">Super-Mid Jet</option> <option value="">Heavy Jet</option> <option value="">Turbo-Prop</option> </select> </div> <div class="aircraftModel"> <input type="radio" id="aircraftModel" name="aircraft" /> <label for="aircraftModel">Aircraft Model</label> <select size="6" multiple="multiple" id="aircraftModelSelect" name="aircraftModel"> <option value="">Astra SP</option> <option value="">Beechjet 400</option> <option value="">Beechjet 400A</option> <option value="">Challenger 300</option> <option value="">Challenger 600</option> <option value="">Challenger 603</option> <option value="">Challenger 604</option> <option value="">Challenger 605</option> <option value="">Citation Bravo</option> </select> </div>

  • Dependency property does not work within a geometry in a controltemplate

    - by Erik Bongers
    I have a DepencencyProperty (a boolean) that works fine on an Ellipse, but not on an ArcSegment. Am I doing something that is not possible? Here's part of the xaml. Both the TemplateBindings of Origin and LargeArc do not work in the geometry. But the LargeArc DependencyProperty does work in the Ellipse, so my DependencyProperty seems to be set up correctly. <ControlTemplate TargetType="{x:Type nodes:TestCircle}"> <Canvas Background="AliceBlue"> <Ellipse Height="10" Width="10" Fill="Yellow" Visibility="{TemplateBinding LargeArc, Converter={StaticResource BoolToVisConverter}}"/> <Path Canvas.Left="0" Canvas.Top="0" Stroke="Black" StrokeThickness="3"> <Path.Data> <GeometryGroup> <PathGeometry> <PathFigure IsClosed="True" StartPoint="{TemplateBinding Origin}"> <LineSegment Point="150,100" /> <ArcSegment Point="140,150" IsLargeArc="{TemplateBinding LargeArc}" Size="50,50" SweepDirection="Clockwise"/> </PathFigure> </PathGeometry> </GeometryGroup> </Path.Data> </Path> </Canvas> </ControlTemplate> What I'm trying to build is a (sort of) pie-shaped usercontrol where the shape of the Pie is defined by DependencyProperties and the actual graphics used are in a template, so they can be replaced or customized. In other words: I would like the code-behind to be visual-free (which, I assume, is good separation). SOLUTION--------------------------(I'm not allowed to answer my own questions yet) I found the answer myself, and this can be useful for others encountering the same issue. This is why the TemplateBinding on the Geometry failed: A TemplateBinding will only work when binding a DependencyProperty to another DependencyProperty. Following article set me on the right track: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/liviuc/archive/2009/12/14/wpf-templatebinding-vs-relativesource-templatedparent.aspx The ArcSegment properties are no DependencyProperties. Thus, the solution to the above problem is to replace <ArcSegment Point="140,150" IsLargeArc="{TemplateBinding LargeArc}" with <ArcSegment Point="140,150" IsLargeArc="{Binding RelativeSource={RelativeSource TemplatedParent}, Path=LargeArc}" Colin, your working example where an 'ordinary' binding was used in the geometry set me on the right track. BTW, love the infographics and the construction of your UserControl in your blogpost. And, hey, that quick tip on code snippets, and especially on that DP attribute and the separation of those DPs into a partial class file is pure gold!

  • How do I access the TFS workspace of an employee that has quit to review/check in some of the change

    - by Fadeproof
    One of my co-workers has resigned and was made to leave the premises before checking in all of his code to TFS. I have access to the physical files. Is there a way for me to access his workspace and check in some of the changes that are still left unchecked in? From tfs I can see which files he has checked out but no way of seeing the exact changes unless very manually.

  • Can I create a custom class that inherits from a strongly typed DataRow?

    - by Calvin Fisher
    I'm working on a huge, old project with a lot of brittle code, some of which has been around since the .NET 1.0 era, and it has been and will be worked on by other people... so I'd like to change as little as possible. I have one project in my solution that contains DataSet.xsd. This project compiles to a separate assembly (Data.dll). The database schema includes several tables arranged more or less hierarchically, but the only way the tables are actually linked together is through joins. I can get, e.g. DepartmentRow and EmployeeRow objects from the autogenerated code. EmployeeRow contains information from the employee's corresponding DepartmentRow through a join. I'm making a new report to view multiple departments and all their employees. If I use the existing data access scheme, all I will be able to get is a spreadsheet-like output where each employee is represented on one line, with department information repeated over and over in its appropriate columns. E.g.: Department1...Employee1... Department1...Employee2... Department2...Employee3... But what the customer would like is to have each department render like a heading, with a list of employees beneath each. E.g.: - Department1... Employee1... Employee2... + Department2... I'm trying to do this by inheriting hierarchical objects from the autogenerated Row objects. E.g.: public class Department : DataSet.DepartmentRow { public List<Employee> Employees; } That way I could nest the data in the report by using a collection of Department objects as the DataSource, each of which will put its list of Employees in a subreport. The problem is that this gives me a The type Data.DataSet.DepartmentRow has no constructors defined error. And when I try to make a constructor, e.g. public class Department : DataSet.DepartmentRow { private Department() { } public List<Employee> Employees; } I get a 'Data.DataSet.DepartmentRow(System.Data.DataRowBuilder)' is inaccessible due to its protection level. error in addition to the first one. Is there a way to accomplish what I'm trying to do? Or is there something else I should be trying entirely?

  • Why is two-way binding in silverlight not working?

    - by Edward Tanguay
    According to how Silverlight TwoWay binding works, when I change the data in the FirstName field, it should change the value in CheckFirstName field. Why is this not the case? ANSWER: Thank you Jeff, that was it, for others: here is the full solution with downloadable code. XAML: <StackPanel> <Grid x:Name="GridCustomerDetails"> <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="Auto"/> <RowDefinition Height="Auto"/> <RowDefinition Height="*"/> </Grid.RowDefinitions> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="Auto"/> <ColumnDefinition Width="300"/> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <TextBlock VerticalAlignment="Center" Margin="10" Grid.Row="0" Grid.Column="0">First Name:</TextBlock> <TextBox Margin="10" Grid.Row="0" Grid.Column="1" Text="{Binding FirstName, Mode=TwoWay}"/> <TextBlock VerticalAlignment="Center" Margin="10" Grid.Row="1" Grid.Column="0">Last Name:</TextBlock> <TextBox Margin="10" Grid.Row="1" Grid.Column="1" Text="{Binding LastName}"/> <TextBlock VerticalAlignment="Center" Margin="10" Grid.Row="2" Grid.Column="0">Address:</TextBlock> <TextBox Margin="10" Grid.Row="2" Grid.Column="1" Text="{Binding Address}"/> </Grid> <Border Background="Tan" Margin="10"> <TextBlock x:Name="CheckFirstName"/> </Border> </StackPanel> Code behind: public Page() { InitializeComponent(); Customer customer = new Customer(); customer.FirstName = "Jim"; customer.LastName = "Taylor"; customer.Address = "72384 South Northern Blvd."; GridCustomerDetails.DataContext = customer; Customer customerOutput = (Customer)GridCustomerDetails.DataContext; CheckFirstName.Text = customer.FirstName; }

  • FormView templates break when refactored to Master/Content

    - by ZaijiaN
    Let's say I have an abstract class IA, with subclasses A1, A2, A3. For each subclass, I had a page with a FormView to insert/edit/view, with code specific to that class. The templates for insert/edit/view are all very similar, so it was mostly cut & paste, and the compiler had no problem that there were controls with the same IDs in the different templates. Something like this: <asp:FormView> <InsertItemTemplate> <asp:Label id="Label1" /> </InsertItemTemplate> <EditItemTemplate> <asp:Label id="Label1" /> </EdittItemTemplate> </asp:FormView> Much of the code/markup ended up being redundant across the pages, so I refactored it to use a master/content format, with the master page having content placeholders for the insert/edit/view templates. Master page: <asp:FormView> <InsertItemTemplate> <asp:ContentPlaceHolder ID="InsertItemTemplate"></asp:ContentPlaceHolder> </InsertItemTemplate> <EditItemTemplate> <asp:ContentPlaceHolder ID="EditItemTemplate"></asp:ContentPlaceHolder> </EdittItemTemplate> </asp:FormView> And content page: <asp:Content ContentPlaceHolderID="InsertItemTemplate"> <asp:Label id="Label1" /> </asp:Content> <asp:Content ContentPlaceHolderID="EditItemTemplate"> <asp:Label id="Label1" /> </asp:Content> In the content page templates, I'm doing the exact same thing I was doing before I refactored, but now the compiler is blowing up with the error BC30260: 'Label1' is already declared as 'Protected WithEvents Label1 As System.Web.UI.WebControls.Label' in this class. For some reason, it's not separating the controls in the content blocks the same way it did when they were in the templates, even though the content placeholders are in the individual templates. Is there a way around this, other than to rename all my controls?

  • Store a long string into mult array

    - by QLiu
    Hello All, I have a long string arrays, which looks like that var callinfo_data=new Array( "1300 135 604#<b>Monday - Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. AEST</b>", //Australia .. "0844000040#<b>lunedì-venerdì ore 10:00 - 17:00 CET</b>", //Switzerland (it) "212 356 9707#<b>Hafta içi her gün: 10:00 - 18:00</b>", //Turkey "08451610009#<b>Monday - Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. GMT</b>", //UK "866 486 6866#<b>Monday - Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. EST</b><br />Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST", //USA "+31208501004#<b>Monday - Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. GMT+1</b>", //other countries " # "); As you see, it contact Phone number and open time. I can use split to separet them into info=callinfo_data[n].split("#"); two sections, And then i can represent them in HTML like "<div id ='phoneNumber'>"+info[0]+"</div><div id='openTime'>"+info[1]+"</div>" But my display phone number function will read the cookie variables, and then select the right contact info to display. Like, phone=callinfo_data[2].split("#"); if (locale == 'UK') details = phone[0]+ build_dropdown(locale); else if (locale == 'fr') details = 'French Contact Details<br>'+build_dropdown(locale); else if (locale == 'be') details = 'Belgian Contact Details<br>'+ build_dropdown(locale); else details = 'Unknown Contact Detail'; writeContactInfo(details); My questions are how I can build a function to load phone number and time based on my cookie variables, UK in a smart way. I can hard code everything, but i think it is too silly. I have to write a long code like: phone1= allinfo_data[0].split("#"); phone1= allinfo_data[1].split("#"); ... etc Second questions, how can I load this long arrays into easy access multi arrays? Thank you Regards, Qing

  • jQuery slider not visible after container div is toggled

    - by Shahar Evron
    I have a page which contains a jQuery-UI horizontal slider, created using a little function, inside a div which can be displayed / hidden by clicking on it's title, using $.toggle(). Problem is, once the div is hidden, when it is expanded the slider is gone. A simplified demo of the problem can be seen here: http://arr.gr/jquery-issue.html (file contains all relevant source code) - when clicking the "Advanced Options" title to hide and then show the div, the slider is no longer there. Any suggestions on how to work around this?
