My first day using this IDE...
is there a way to configure the IDE to open files in the project by double click? It is rather painful having to drag files from the project overview into the editor window.
When you have a URL in source code, VS2010 allows you to Ctrl+Click on it; this opens the URL in the internal VS browser.
I'd like it to open in my default external browser (i.e. Chrome). Is there any way to configure VS to do this?
I need to make a set of links open in a new window - the good thing is they all have the same css style - what do i need to do in css to get these links opened in new window?
Why is still C99 mixed declarations and code not used in open source C projects like the Linux kernel or GNOME?
I really like mixed declarations and code since it makes the code more readable and prevents hard to see bugs by restricting the scope of the variables to the narrowest possible. This is recommended by Google for C++.
For example, Linux requires at least GCC 3.2 and GCC 3.1 has support for C99 mixed declarations and code
This below code works fine opening an alert dialog. I was wondering if it's possible to open a context menu from within a map overlay class?
@Override
protected boolean onTap(int index) {
OverlayItem item = mOverlays.get(index);
AlertDialog.Builder dialog = new AlertDialog.Builder(mContext);
dialog.setTitle(item.getTitle());
dialog.setMessage(item.getSnippet());
dialog.show();
return true;
}
I'm kind of going through DOS again and it's been ages, so I need a lot of help.
My question is; how can I make a batch file open a popup screen?
Like:
Sorry for the poor English, I'm Dutch/Italian .<
I have a window I'm opening with a Javascript function:
function newwindow()
{
window.open('link.html','','width=,height=,resizable=no');
}
I need it that once the new window opens that the focus returns to the original window.
How can I do that?
And where do I put the code - in the new window, or the old one?
Thanks!
I'm trying to do some cryptography for SQL Server 2000, and I know that only SQL 2005+ comes with built-in functionality for doing this natively.
Do you know any open source implementation that I can use for free of RSA-2048 cryptography?
I have a huge repository of files that are ordered by numbered folders. In each folder is a file which starts with a unique number then an unknown string of characters. Given the unique number how can i open or copy this file?
for example:
I have been given the number '7656875' and nothing more.
I need to interact with a file called '\server\7656800\7656875 foobar 2x4'.
how can i achieve this using PHP?
I have a team developing software in MS Visual Studio and now they want to start using MS Team Foundation Server, mainly for versioning and maybe patch and bug tracking.
They don't have any experience with MS Team Foundation Server, but they are very enthusiastic with MS products.
So whats the best free open source alternative solution? Git, SVN, CVS, Bugzilla, plugins, etc.
As the title suggests, is there any way to filter the “Open Resource” dialog based on path? For example, so I can navigate to c/foo or d/foo without having to up/down through the {a,b}/foo?
I've created a new C++ project in Visual Studio 2008. No code has been written yet; Only project settings have been changed.
When I compile the project, I receive the following fatal error:
fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'C:\Program.obj'
I've looked at free javascript html editors, and I haven't found any that I feel handle links intuitively. I like the way the gmail editor does it (also the same way blogger.com) does it.
Does anyone know if there is an open source editor that handles linking that way? Jquery would be preferable.
I often do this to prepare for some django debugging:
Open up a terminal window in os x (10.6)
start the python interpreter
run these commands in python:
from django.core.management import setup_environ
import settings
setup_environ(settings)
Is it possible to automate these actions and make a shortcut that I can doubleclick to invoke?
I'm loading a webpage inside a HTML component in AIR. By default, when something is clicked the next page is loaded inside the HTML component itself. I want the links from that page to open in an external web browser.
Is this possible at all?
How do you open a textfile and write to it with php appendstyle
textFile.txt
//caught these variables
$var1 = $_POST['string1'];
$var2 = $_POST['string2'];
$var3 = $_POST['string3'];
$handle = fopen("textFile.txt", "w");
fwrite = ("%s %s %s\n", $var1, $var2, $var3, handle);//not the way to append to textfile
fclose($handle);
Here is a typical sequence of events that occur :
Host device opens a service ( Host device accepts and opens all incoming connections)
A remote device connects to host device.
Now, we have a slave connection open at host device.
At host device, I want to know the bluetooth address of remote device.
I can always pass it as data from remote to host device, but
can I extract it from connection object somehow without any data transfer?
Thanks in advance...
The Google I/O app was made by Google to help attendees to the conference track which sessions they want to watch and see the entire schedule. I was wondering if it was available as open source since it has some good UI design and usability patterns.
How can I open a new browser tab in ASP.NET and write to it? I don't want to redirect to a page but I want to write/output the content directly from source.
I want to insert code for Open Id.
I am unable to find article based on this.
Please Help me With giving me a link of article?
Your articles help me very much.
I am looking for a C++ library set to develop my own C++ daemon in Linux for collecting NetFlow information. Does anyone know of an open source one or a library set that is available?
Many thanks
