  • iPhone - stdint.h file not found!

    - by Mike
I am dealing with a project designed for iPhone OS 2.0 and I am intending to keep compatibility with this version while offering new OS 3.x functionality. When I set the base SDK to iPhone OS 3.1.3 and Target OS for 2.0, Xcode gives me this error during compilation. 'stdint.h' file not found /Developer/usr/lib/clang/1.0.1/include/stdint.h:32:16: fatal error: 'stdint.h' file not found The strange thing is that the file is there, on the path it says it is not. if I set the target OS for 3.x the problem vanishes. how to solver that? thanks for any help.

  • Alpha Beta Search

    - by Becky
I'm making a version of Martian Chess in java with AI and so far I THINK my move searching is semi-working, it seems to work alright for some depths but if I use a depth of 3 it returns a move for the opposite side...now the game is a bit weird because when a piece crosses half of the board, it becomes property of the other player so I think this is part of the problem. I'd be really greatful if someone could look over my code and point out any errors you think are there! (pls note that my evaluation function isn't nearly complete lol) MoveSearch.java public class MoveSearch { private Evaluation evaluate = new Evaluation(); private int blackPlayerScore, whitePlayerScore; public MoveContent bestMove; public MoveSearch(int blackScore, int whiteScore) { blackPlayerScore = blackScore; whitePlayerScore = whiteScore; } private Vector<Position> EvaluateMoves(Board board) { Vector<Position> positions = new Vector<Position>(); • MSVC 2008 - Unresolved External errors with LIB but only with DLL, not with EXE project

    - by Robert Oschler
I have a DLL that I am trying to link with a libjpeg LIB using MSVC 2008 that is generating Unresolved External Symbol errors for the libjpeg functions. I also have a test project that links with the exact same libjpeg library file and links without error and runs fine too. I have triple-checked my LIB path and dependent LIBS list settings and literally copy and pasted them from the EXE project to the DLL project. I still get the errors. I do have the libjpeg include headers surrounded by extern "C" so it is not a name mangling issue and the unresolved external warnings show the "missing" libjpeg functions as undecorated (just a leading underscore and the @ sign parameter byte count suffix after each name). What could make the linker with the DLL project be unable to find the functions properly when the test EXE project has no trouble at all? I'm using the pre-compiled 32-bit static multi-threaded debug library which I downloaded from ClanLib. Thanks, Robert

  • mingw spitting countless warnings about ignoring "dll import" attribute

    - by hasen j
I'm using mingw32-make to compile a qt project that uses opengl, it compiles correctly and everything, but it spits countless warning messages of the form: c:/qt3/include/qcolor.h:67: warning: inline function `int qGray(int, int, int)' declared as dllimport: attribute ignored For this particular instance, the function declaration is: Q_EXPORT inline int qGray( int r, int g, int b )// convert R,G,B to gray 0..255 { return (r*11+g*16+b*5)/32; } My question is, why is it spitting all these warning? how can I silence them without silencing other legitimate warnings (i.e. warnings that are related directly to my code and could be potential problems)? More importantly, why is mingw ignoring the dll import attribute in the first place?

  • Should I Make These Vectors Classes or Structs in C#

    - by dewald
I am creating a geometry library in C# and I will need the following immutable types: Vector2f (2 floats - 8 bytes) Vector2d (2 doubles - 16 bytes) Vector3f (3 floats - 12 bytes) Vector3d (3 doubles - 24 bytes) Vector4f (4 floats - 16 bytes) Vector4d (4 doubles - 32 bytes) I am trying to determine whether to make them structs or classes. MSDN suggests only using a struct if the size if going to be no greater than 16 bytes. That reference seems to be from 2005. Is 16 bytes still the max suggested size? I am sure that using structs for the float vectors would be more efficient than using a class, but what should I do about the double vectors? Should I make them structs also to be consistent, or should I make them classes?

  • HowTo set Icon to Qt Application, created with Qt Visual Studio Add-in?

    - by mosg
Hello. Here is what I have: Visual Studio 2008 (on 32-bit Windows XP) Qt libraries 4.6.2 for Windows (VS 2008, 194 MB) Visual Studio Add-in (44 MB) After I installed all the software, I created simple Qt Application project, with Visual Studio: menu File | New | Project... and Qt4 Projects | Qt Application. Build it, and here is the question: how to set application icon to my compiled exe file? I need to see specified ICO in explorer! Old method with MyProject.pro not interested!!! Create a .ico file with both 16x16 and 32x32-pixel versions of the icon (you can do this in Visual Studio). Create a .rc file containing the following text: IDI_ICON1 ICON DISCARDABLE "myIcon.ico" Add the following to your .pro file RC_FILE = myFile.rc Run qmake. Thanks.

  • Oracle .NET Provider DLL hell

    - by Pablo Santa Cruz
I am currently developing on a Win7-32bits computer. Everything works fine. It's a ASP.NET application. I was able to use Microsoft's Oracle deprecated .NET provider to connect to Oracle (using 32 bit instant client) and also ODP.NET. No problems at all. Application runs fine. The problem comes when I deploy it to IIS7 on Windows 2008 Server 64bit computer. I can't get Microsoft's deprecated .NET provider or ODP.NET to work easily. Is there a straightforward way to use a 32bit based ODP.NET or Microsoft's Oracle deprecated .NET provider in Windows 2008 Server 64bits? DLL hell here! Thanks.

  • tmux: Suddenly, cannot horizontally split

    - by A__A__0
As root, using a reasonably default .profile and .shrc and an empty tmux.conf, I am unable to split the window horizontally. There are a number of cases to consider so I'll list them clearly. Using the keybinding + empty configuration: nothing happens Using the keybinding + my configuration: a bell is generated, nothing else; occasionally, the split will appear and disappear immediately (maybe it always does this, but I'm connecting over ssh so it may not make it through) Using tmux split-window -h with any config: tmux immediately exits I've posted here in order the server and client verbose logs generated by tmux -v during the third case: server started, pid 9523 socket path /tmp/tmux-0/default new client 7 got 100 from client 7 got 101 from client 7 got 102 from client 7 (This happened for example when I ran ktrace on tmux, which I can also post) To explain the 'suddenly' part of the title: when I started my newly updated mysql56-server, tmux immediately exited and lost the session. Recently I changed architectures, from FreeBSD 10.0 i386 to amd64, and I am still working through shared library incompatibilities. I suspect that this could be involved, but I can't imagine how an incompatibility of this sort could result in such a specific, isolated failure.

  • How to configure Multi-tenant plugin as single-tenant with Spring security plugin as resolver?

    - by Fabien Barbier
I can create a secure, multi-tenant web app with Grails by : setup spring security plugin, setup Multi-tenant plugin (via multi-tenant install and multi-tenant-spring-security) update config.groovy : tenant { mode = "multiTenant" resolver.type = "springSecurity" } add : Integer userTenntId in User domain add a domain class for tenant Organization associate the tenants with Organization Edit BootStrap.groovy. Everything works fine in multi-tenant mode, but how to use mode = "singleTenant" ? This configuration sound not working : tenant { mode = "singleTenant" resolver.type = "springSecurity" } Edit : I try this config : tenant { mode = "singleTenant" resolver.type = "springSecurity" datasourceResolver.type = "config" dataSourceTenantMap { t1 = "jdbc:hsqldb:file:custFoo" t2 = "jdbc:hsqldb:file:custBar" } } But I get : ERROR errors.GrailsExceptionResolver - Executing action [list] of controller [org.example.TicketController] caused exception: java.lang.StackOverflowError and : Caused by: java.lang.StackOverflowError at org.grails.multitenant.springsecurity.SpringSecurityCurrentTenant.getTenantIdFromSpringSecurity(SpringSecurityCurrentTenant.groovy:50) at org.grails.multitenant.springsecurity.SpringSecurityCurrentTenant.this$2$getTenantIdFromSpringSecurity(SpringSecurityCurrentTenant.groovy) at org.grails.multitenant.springsecurity.SpringSecurityCurrentTenant$this$2$getTenantIdFromSpringSecurity.callCurrent(Unknown Source) at org.grails.multitenant.springsecurity.SpringSecurityCurrentTenant.get(SpringSecurityCurrentTenant.groovy:41) at com.infusion.tenant.spring.TenantBeanContainer.getBean(TenantBeanContainer.java:53) at com.infusion.tenant.spring.TenantMethodInterceptor.invoke(TenantMethodInterceptor.java:32) at $Proxy14.getConnection(Unknown Source)

  • Why image button dont work with forms in IExplorer 7+ ??? (Html)

    - by DomingoSL
Hello guys, i have a web form who send post variables like: <form action="teacher.php" method="post"> <input name="pass" type="password"> <input name="quiere" type="image" value="submit" src="IMG/unlock-32.png" /> </from> In the same page i check for a submit acction with php doing a simple isset check like: "if (isset($_POST['quiere'])) {" But if you do this in IE the post var "QUIERE" (the button var) does not post, the others vars are fine, and if you try this simple form in any other browser it works. I only get this form function well in IE changing the button for a normal button, instead of a image button like: <input name="quiere" type="submit" value="submit" /> In this way, the var "quiere" get post. So, what do you think? and sorry for my english.

  • Django ORM and multiprocessing

    - by Ankur Gupta
Hi, I am using Django ORM in my python script in a decoupled fashion i.e. it's not running in context of a normal Django Project. I am also using the multi processing module. And different process in turn are making queries. The process ran successfully for an hr and exited with this message "IOError: [Errno 32] Broken pipe" Upon futhur diagnosis and debugging this error pops up when I call save() on the model instance. I am wondering Is Django ORM Process save ? Why would this error arise else ? Cheers Ankur

  • Ruby from the command line - sticking - Windows

    - by tyndall
I have seen this behavior on Windows with Ruby for a long time. If I install a gem sometimes the command line will just get "lost" and stop printing output until you go back to the command line and hit enter a few times. I notice this in other places too. Like starting up a Ruby on Rails console. Or generating a model with Rails. Have other people seen this? What causes this? The weird thing is this doesn't happen all the time. I have never seen this with PHP, Lua, Perl or Python from the command line. I have seen this on Vista and Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit). This happens on multiple machines.

  • Delphi Unicode String Type Stored Directly at its Address

    - by Andreas Rejbrand
I want a string type that is Unicode and that stores the string directly at the adress of the variable, as is the case of the (Ansi-only) ShortString type. I mean, if I declare a S: ShortString and let S := 'My String', then, at @S, I will find the length of the string (as one byte, so the string cannot contain more than 255 characters) followed by the ANSI-encoded string itself. What I would like is a Unicode variant of this. That is, I want a string type such that, at @S, I will find a unsigned 32-bit integer containing the length of the string in bytes (or in characters, which is half the number of bytes) followed by the Unicode representation of the string. I have tried WideString, UnicodeString, and RawByteString, but they all appear only to store an adress at @S, and the actual string somewhere else (I guess this has do do with reference counting and such). I suspect that there is no built-in type to use, and that I have to come up with my own way of storing text the way I want (which actually is fun). Am I right?

  • Why does xdebug crash apache on every XAMPP install I've tried?

    - by Ian Cook
I've installed the Windows XAMPP package on three separate computers, 2 running Windows Vista 32 bit ( 1 Ultimate / 1 Home Premium ) and 1 running Windows Vista 64 Home Premium. After enabling xdebug in php.ini and restarting apache, viewing the default XAMPP localhost index causes apache to crash in the same way every time, reporting 'php_xdebug.dll' as the Fault Module Name. Here's the full report from the Windows Crash Reporter thing: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: apache.exe Application Version: 2.2.9.0 Application Timestamp: 4853f994 Fault Module Name: php_xdebug.dll Fault Module Version: 2.0.3.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 47fcd9b9 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 00008493 OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: a34a Additional Information 2: c9c5f4fd744690d388ab9d5b3eb051a7 Additional Information 3: cb2e Additional Information 4: 650bb5690556a17e911375b94d3e16f0 I've tried Googling this issue but haven't found any resolution, only reports of similar errors. EDIT: I enabled the extension line for php_xdebug.dll and that seems to have stopped the crashing so far.

  • Informix & .NET

    - by Giuliano
I'm connecting to Informix 6.5 using the IBM OLE DB Driver. Some clarification: Informix Dynamic Server Workgroup Edition. Please note that there are many versions of IDS/WE - it helps to be precise about which version you have. It might be something like 10.00.TC1; the version number could be as old as 7.xx.TCx, or as new as 11.50.TCx. If your server is not on Windows but on Unix - or is on 64-bit Windows - the letter 'T' would change to 'U' (32-bit Unix) or 'F' (64-bit - Unix or Windows), or even 'H' (a particular HP-UX configuration). When I try to create a dataset using the VS DataSet wizard, after clicking on test connection it tells me 'Base Table not found'? The OLEDB driver is the official one provided by IBM. The problem with the 'Table not found' dialog is that Visual Studio doesn't tell me the table name but only the error! Has anyone else had this problem?

  • Open Source Embedded Database Options for .Net Applications

    - by LonnieBest
I have a .Net 4.0 WPF application that requires an embedded database. MS Access doesn't work on 64 bit Windows I'm told. And I having issues with SSCE: Unable to load DLL 'sqlceme35.dll': This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800736B1) sqlceme35.dll is installed into my application's program files directory, so I can't seem to figure out why Windows XP Pro doesn't see it. I was wondering about other embedded databases options I might use that work on both 32 and 64 bit windows. Any suggestions?

  • GMP variable's bit size..

    - by kishorebjv
How to know the size of a declared variable in GMP??or how can we decide the size of an integer in GMP? mpz_random(temp,1); in manual it is given that this function allocates 1limb(=32bits for my comp) size to the "temp".... but it is having 9 digit number only.. SO i dont think that 32 bit size number holds only 9 digits number.. So please help me to know the size of integer variable in GMP .. thanks in adv..

  • Account preferences crashes on ListPreference

    - by Sionide21
I have created an account type using the AccountAuthenticator stuff as done in the SampleSyncAdapter tutorial. I am now trying to get account preferences working. I have added the line android:accountPreferences="@xml/account_preferences" to my account-authenticator and account_preferences.xml looks like so: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <PreferenceScreen xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"> <PreferenceCategory android:title="@string/alum_settings_title"/> <CheckBoxPreference android:key="sync_alum" android:title="@string/sync_alum" android:summaryOn="@string/sync_alum_check" android:summaryOff="@string/sync_alum_nocheck"/> <ListPreference android:key="sync_alum_since" android:title="@string/alum_years" android:entries="@array/years" android:entryValues="@array/years" android:dependency="sync_alum"/> </PreferenceScreen> The checkbox preference works exactly like it should but the ListPreference crashes the entire system with the following message: 05-14 22:32:16.794: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(63): android.view.WindowManager$BadTokenException: Unable to add window -- token null is not for an application I get the same error with EditTextPreference and with the custom subclass of DialogPreference I created.

  • Deploying a PyQt application on Windows Vista x64

    - by Skilldrick
I'm working on an application for a client/friend using PyQt. I've been working on Linux and testing on Vista, but the target computer is Vista x64. Now, Python comes with compiled binaries of Python 2.6 for 64 bit Windows, but Riverbank don't provide 64 bit binaries for PyQt. I don't have much access to the target computer, so I can't really go through the hassle of compiling PyQt. This Google code project might be the solution, but I'm not sure if it's going to work. Can I use something like py2exe from 32 bit Vista, or would I have to have to make the executable from a 64 bit machine with PyQt 64 bit installed? Basically, am I going to have to compile PyQt on the target machine?

  • How to read a CLOB column in Oracle using OleDb ?

    - by T.Falise
Hi, I have created a table on an Oracle 10g database with this structure : create table myTable ( id number(32,0) primary key, myData clob ) I can insert rows in the table without any problem, but when I try to read data from the table using OleDb connection, I get an exception. Here is the code I use : using (OleDbConnection dbConnection = new OleDbConnection("ConnectionString")) { dbConnection.Open(); OleDbCommand dbCommand = dbConnection.CreateCommand(); dbCommand.CommandText = "SELECT * FROM myTable WHERE id=?"; dbCommand.Parameters.AddWithValue("ID", id); OleDbDataReader dbReader = dbCommand.ExecuteReader(); } The exception details seems to point on an unsupported data type : System.Data.OleDb.OleDbException: Unspecified error Oracle error occurred, but error message could not be retrieved from Oracle. Data type is not supported. Does anyone know how I can read this data using the OleDb connection ? PS : The driver used in this case is the Microsoft one.

  • Hook Response.Cache to memcache

    - by dvr
Has anyone done this before? I have a 32 bit win 2003 server running 2.0 and have read the ms engineers' blog about min(60%, 1800mb) for cache limits and our site (asp.net 2.0 / 3.5) is caching alot. It throws system outofmemory exceptions when wp is around 1.3gb (unfortunately it is the 2.0 apps) and I would like to push alot over to memcache but worried that at the moment the site is efficient using response.cache as is (though memory is an issue). I want to move most items over to memcache and have concerns on a – how to do this (implementation of response.cache to read/write from memcache) and b – what will performance be like? Before I commit to doing this and possibly spending a few days running tests I would like to hear from you if this has been done already and get some feedback. (and please don’t tell me to buy a x64 machine – I have already requested this!), by the way I ran a test requesting a single image 1000 times and response.cache was over 50% quicker than using application cache. Does response.cache bypass the page lifecycle?
